I love this song and MV... you guys commented it was cool to see them sing about their adoration for the ladies and have a female in the video... which i totally agree with but believe it or not the guys were absolutely slaughtered for this especially RM for the lyrics he wrote.... a whole big monumental fuss was made out of it being insulting, demeaning and derogatory towards women.... Pretty ridculous the way people came for RM..it affected his confidence as a writer and also personally hence the reason why something in this kind of style has never been seen again. A fine example of the haters pouncing on nothing but coming up with a hanging offence.... just stupid. Anyway the giys have 2 other versions of this from the dance studio that are really funny. One is them dresed up in Halloween custumes and the other is complete madness lol (real war version) funny mayhem if you guys need a few laughs lol. As always 💜BIG LOVE💜

JK is still a baby here, only 17, even though he said he is 18 (Korean age). They stopped singing about girls after this song. They were accused of misogyny. RM who wrote this song, was traumatized by the allegations.
I wouldn't say they stopped singing about girls because 21st Century Girl is about girls.

@@crystalsnow1138 Oh yeah, I definitely agree! I didn't mean it like that, just trying to get across how much they matured in terms of the representation of women in their music. But yeah, WOH was nothing scandalous, and I don't understand the outcry to this day.
I think it was song called Expensive girl K-netizens objected to, they just added this song to the list even though both lyrics were pretty tame to me
Early BTS is just great!! Have y'all done the song Danger yet???? It's another great early one.They got a LOT of heat for War of Hormone, but I'm a 60 yr old female, and I have NO problem with this song...I don't find it offensive at all, and I have no problem getting the intended message from the lyrics.

It’s funny you mention not seeing this side of them 4:00 with the girls in the videos and everything. And well, because this song did it in for them. A lot of antis took the message behind the song and created an uproar. They were strongly accused of being misogynistic and sexist and very degrading towards women. I personally love this song and never found any issue in it but a lot of people had a big problem with this songs lyrics and the concept. After this song, RM had to apologize on behalf of his writing and for a long time consulted with women activists and had his lyrics looked over so that nothing could ever be found offensive to women in his writing ever again. I’ll get hell for saying that I found nothing wrong with the song, but it’s very appreciative of him to learn from that experience and go about it the way he did. It’s commendable, but sad it came down to that.
Boy in Luv probably took some heat but I don't think I've ever seen or read about it. I really had no problem with it.

Since you are now in this era, you would suggest : Danger. There are two versions.. One of them is the Blu Mo remix version.
Mo Blu Mix will bring it up. Thanh Bui was one of the song writers along with RM, Suga and others but he did the remix and was featured in the video. It's almost like a different song but awesome! He is called Vietnam's most beloved singer/songwriter and the dance practice for Danger is another iconic one.
The dance practice is really funny and extra crazy guys 😂😂

Old videos really make me feel like I NEED rapper jungkook back! Rapper jungkook can spit straight fire... he just raps normally here but I love in “rise of bangtan,” or “no more dream” as well he kills it... the lives of all these songs are so much fun and I love their energy with stuff like this . Century 21girls as well is fun

I absolutely love this song, it's one of my favorite "old" BTS songs. Of course people turned into a bunch of karens and caused so much craziness over the lyrics that they no longer perform it so that sucks, but it does show how humble and mature BTS is as they never want to cause people to feel uncomfortable or upset by their music because from that point on, they thought very carefully about their lyrics. Glad y'all enjoyed it tho!

Their music grows up with them tbqh. I really like early BTS concepts more than their mainstream (which I still like tho). This song will be a great memory for them cuz I think this will remind them that they once became hormonal teenagers which is quite normal.

I just love the early stuff. JK can still rap but I miss it. Jimin raps his ass off on Suga's Tony Montana live. I watched BangBangCon21 and V and Jin were rapping, and not just on Ddaeng where the vocal line took it over. It was part of their training. A computerized study was done on dance synchronicity and very early BTS dance practices approached 100% way more than anyone else analyzed. Of course training was 16 hours a day predebut and after. Others mentioned the dance practice for this and I second that. The one in the practice room, not the one outside. And the Halloween practice for it.. Also here's my feminist card. Take it. I love all the early stuff even when it can be considered misogynistic.

Love this song of BTS War of the Hormones which is actually talking about guys coming of age which very natural but the made an issue of this which I did not really understand until now. They stopped singing about girls because they were accused of being misogynistic by multiple kpop fandoms it traumatized RM so they started speaking on real issues so yea lol. OLD BTS isn’t like NEW BTS. which a lot of people find funny when comparing old MVs to new.

As the others said BTS were accused of mysoginy when they released this song which is ridiculous honeslty. I don't see anything mysoginistic about the lyrics and the MV. And the hypocrisy of the fans and antis here is real cuz there're far more mysoginistic songs by Western artists and no one complains a word about them. It was just an attack against them by the antis back then. But the fact is BTS stopped writing lyrics like this anymore and became very careful (Take a listen to "Look here" from the same album Dark & Wild, it's another wild, sexual song). Even though they have other songs about grils after War of hormone, none of them has any sexual connotations anymore (21st century girl, Dimple). After 2017 they completely got rid of the "girl" and the "her" pronoun in their lyrics and substituted them with the gender neutral "baby" observing the politically correct narrative. This is why their recent songs and lyrics are so neutral and general. But if you want to know what they used to be like, and what are the real them - listen to their oldest albums, i'd say until HYYH pt. 1 and 2. After that, since Wings era they're influenced by the western agenda in entertainment industry observing its rules. You know this is a must if you want to be in the big game. I'm a fan since 2014 (the year War of hormone was released) and i know what they used to be like, i've witnessed their transformation through the years. Don't listen to the baby armys who ramble about them being gender fluid, non straight, whatever cuz they're really not aware of a lot of things BTS members said and did in the past. Now they're just observing the "right" narrative, nothing more than that. And they do it mostly because of the international fans. Korean and Japanese fans as well as their muslim fans (who are numerous) don't give a f about their gender neutral agenda right now and they never did. All the members are straight, no gender fluids among them, haha. It's commonly known among the underground fandom. Now watch the snowflake armys freak out cuz of this comment lololol....
They were criticized in Korean culture by the NETIZENS for being misogynistic in this song/MV. They stop making videos with girls. What a pity because there was nothing wrong with this song.
War of hormone is probably my least favourite. I didn't like the theme itself. React to bts pied piper. ^^
