I like that you gave mortars and honorable mention. I feel like most people sleep on mortars, but at the beginning of games you can use them to cap the first objective extremely fast.
ever since i got an extra slot from the premium slot, i've been running mortars and they're great on open maps. mostly the pacific and ardennes maps where the points are mostly in the open are just pure HE fest
They are multifunctional as well if you use them in a more advanced way: I mean, in the heat of the game, try to rotate them After an Engineer squad - with the engineers, build next to the spawn point an Anti-air gun then attack the objective (and die XD). This way, after you entered to the battlefield with the mortar squad exactly there where the AA have been built, while you are bombarding, you can be ready to jump into the AA gun when you see or hear an enemy plane to shot it down. So, I think it is a 3 in 1 squad this way - 1st: bombard with the 8cm mortar the enemy tank, 2nd: call an artillery strike on the object or next to the object from where the enemy troops will mostly advance (with your radio operator) and 3rd: watch and guard the sky as an AA gunner (you could even add a sniper to the mortar squad, just like Para said on the video; I guess that would be the 4th way to play with them, this time, as a sniper). There you go, a more enjoyable way to play with the mortars :) Just remember, don't sit there for an hour long if you are an attacker and your teammates can't capture the object; try to do it by yourself ! :D
the ofrenror is better than the panzerfaust 100 due to similar penetration values but it has much higher velocity allowing you to hit targets further away; as well distance does not affect heat penetration capability as the explosion itself is what causes the penetration. (kinetic energy does not matter here)
If you mentioned event/gold weapons i would also add the mp41r - german ppsh, kiraly with faster fire rate breda pg - kurz reborn, mauser 712 - pocket smg good on both high and low br, g43 kurz - duh..., Cönders - literally a ppsh with an even bigger mag Walther p38- great sidearm, one shots heads German officer sword - speed boost, one shots, axe reskin, meme value, looks sick
The claims about MKB tests on the Eastern front in 1942 are widespread (often to justify its inclusion in Moscow and Stalingrad campaigns), but so far I've only seen documented proof about spring of 1943 (from Gun Jesus, Dieter Handrich and Soviet capture reports) when 2000 MKBs were officially sent for tests to the eastern front.
the design stage went from 1940 -1941, first prototypes were tested 1941, the first mass produced (couple thousand to my memory) were send to the eastern front in 1942, also the proper german name of the MKB is MKB 42(H)/MKB 42(W), both showing that its official release was in 1942. Based on these 2 designs the MP43 was designed and released in...1943. If the MKB needed 2 years for design/testing/production, the MP43 wouldnt be ready just mere months after the MKB, falsely assuming both were released in 1943. Most people search for simple data/documents, but most often the indirect background data converges to a clear conclusion, as in this case, regarding then something was released. The main problem was the centralized socialist economy, which meant weapons manufacturers needed a permission from multiple ministries and on top of that orders from generals/other ministries until they can start producing and sending out weapons. As famously known, hitler didnt like the MKB due to its strong ammunition consumption and sperged around hard on that one factor, thus hindering its widespread implementation by roughly 1 year. But lots of high ranking decision makers tried to still implement it somehow, therefore the small numbers of only few thousands making it to the front in 1942.
@@paradivision1362 well I would like to explore some sources about MKB on the Eastern Front in 1942 despite that one Wikipedia quote by an American farmer
@@paradivision1362so a "centralized socialist economy" requires "multiple ministries and on top of that orders from generals/other ministries until they can start producing and sending out weapons?" I don't think you those words means what you think they mean.
@@flarvin8945 multiple sources of power doesnt contradict a centralized system. german socialism was characterized by vertical and horizontal integration, with many ministries working next to/against each other and the level under them often received orders from multiple sources, leading to contradictions. i wont discuss politics here, since most people lack advanced enough understanding to make it worth it, it just ends up like here that i need to explain basic words instead of actually interesting information.
@@paradivision1362 your description of the nazi government does not show a centralized system. Hitler kept things from being centralized, to prevent too much power from getting in any single person's hands. Having to get permission/orders from multiple ministries/departments/generals, is a problem that some western nations had. IIRC, the British and French had similar issues. Not just a "centralized socialist economy" thing. And the nazis did not have a socialist economy per se, they worked with capitalists. The nazis hated socialists and communists, fought against them in Spain. And many in the west hoped they would be a bulwark against the Bolsheviks. Even when Germany went to a wartime economy, they did not nationalized production. Instead they worked with the capitalist, by supplying them with forced labor.
I read a thread on the forum where you share your opinion about quitting the game. I completely agree with you. Today I pulled out of the fight - because I instantly realized all the hopelessness) And I went to watch the series.
i nowhere said anything about quitting. i just said that the game is profoundly retardedly managed and needs significant improvements across multiple areas. tho i might try out other ww2 games in the near future and show people here my insights, since im getting multiple games recommended nonstop.
I use traditional sniper bolt actions on my assaulter squads even on high br (at least I try to bring them). My reason for that is it rounds up the squad nicely: I can bring 4 powerhouses for clearing an objective at short range, while also getting two main line weapons for midrange (1 engineer and 1 radioman/engineer/At Gunner). Adding a Siiper to the mix helps me pick targets that are holding a vantage point against me, or engaging enemies if my team is so bad that we were forced into the grayzone. With this lineup an assaulter squad becomes an all rounder, ready to counter almost everything to etleast some degree.
Because I have too many stg44's I decided to make a assault squad entirely of stg weapons. 5 stg44, 1 sniper stg44, and a g43 Kurtz Because the other option is the vg1-5. It's a dumb loadout that only good at assaulting, but the medic, engineer, and sniper still cover their niche.
Loved the scientific way of ranking these weapons in this video! I personally do love to use the MGs over the sniper ARs in my assault squads since the former adds a bit more flavour to the mix. For your next video please do consider ranking the Allied weapons in-game. I feel like they have some real variation in this regard.
the stronger scope means you see the same recoil stronger on the screen, thatwhy its extra bad on short distance, hence the s-MKB being a perfect secondary weapon.
In theory, you can have an assaulter squad with 6 "assaulters", though only 4 of them are true assaulters, because you can choose a medic and a sniper, medics can use assault rifles for some reason, and you can remove the scope from the sniper stg44, if that is something you want, leaving you with 6 soldiers with assault rifes, and 1 engineer, but I feel like you lose too much by doing that, specially the at gunner
you mean the gold order? its a bit worse than the normal unlock version, as its slower; and the fire rate really hurts the MKB compared to other weapons
if you are new to the game, like you have just started grinding i wouldnt get it anyways as it will by default set you to a higher BR which means that the rest of your army with bolties will be way too inferior to its opponents.
for me yes, the mg 15 is much harder to control and unless you ALWAYS find yourself in CQC like with enemies 5 metres away you always have to do bursts that might not even hit. The mg34 Patronentrommel i think has better sights as well as better recoil. both are great but the mg 34 is just a little better for me.
That - duel welding Kirali vs STG is viable since they use different calibre, but MP43 with STG44 is just non-sense, I would take STG44 with extra ammo any day

Mortars is gambling - you either get epic neuron activation for the first 20 seconds of the match, or lose a squad slot (which HURTS without premium)

8cm morter is fun. If your team is not dropping pings. Throw down a map pin. You will see it on the screen and can range in on it.

You should make a video about the Axis bolt actions. I've really been loving the Manlicher carbine for my engineers.
