This video is focusing mainly on the soldiers themselves, so I only mentioned the part thats relevant to the soldiers. But yes, absolutely its incredibly important to level up the different squads. Maybe that should be its own video :)
The only reason I grinded Assaulter II's and Riflemen II's was to be able to use, at the same time, soldiers with the 2nd weapon and backpack slot perks.
There is another thing to consider, atleast for engineers, IDK about the rest of the squads but a tier 2 engineer squads can make machine gun nests while tier 1 engineer squads can't. This had lead me down lengthy grinding process of getting a tier 2 engineer squad leveled up, in which I really miss not having the anti tank and anti air emplacement options.
@@CheMatthewsthat’s great advice that I wish I knew when I first started playing. I have over 900 hours in and never realized the importance of it till a couple months ago. There’s no better feeling in the game, when I see Rally point used pop up on the screen.
@@jron5113 if the enemy has more rally points than you, it becomes very hard to gain map control without breaking a sweat. I think the game designers wanted players to spend as much time managing the game as we do playing the game...their version of total immersion, I guess. Thanks, Quad. Do some more videos of you destroying your enemies. I like watching you play nearly as much as I like playing myself.
Rifleman 3 with full medpack speed perk are my favourite they just bounce back up and if it’s just a quick bandage on the move you barely see it happen.
I have got achieved only tier two... I was doing so: I was playing tier one until that moment when I got all needing weapons of tier two. After this event I changed the BR rating.
Hey Quadro, nice video! Your point about the starter perks being a significant upgrade can actually apply to the increased base stats in some cases when they hit a breakpoint. A notable new breakpoint post-merge is 20 vitality on Engineer II and AT Gunner II. Getting a high stat soldier in these classes would allow using +35% Vitality (16) in combination with +100% medpack healing (4). This can make your engineers extremely survivable and basically makes +100% medpack healing the real upgrade for these classes; just like the potent starter perk for Assaulter III and Machine Gunner III. I'd argue this is a case where the min-maxing of perk points can actually have a sizable effect on gameplay. "We need a rally point!" after all.
Riflemen for me just get pulled into full rifle squads with basic weapons and no extras just to level up then get picked into specialty squads for extra firepower
And you missed the main point: some of the low tier classes cannot utilize all of the 16-cost perks because there is a 6-point margin for top category perks. So, you basically have less flexibility with low tier classes and you often need to sacrifice some good perks on them.
I didnt want to get too in the weeds since I think 99% of players don't even quite understand perks lol. But yeah, youre absolutely right, lower tier classes have much less flexibility!
I PLAYED NORMANDY and i run 3 rifle companys. each has an assault, radio operator, engineer, the other 6 are riflemen. sucked at shooting and the game improved when i unlocked the semi s lol
I do not know why Enlisted official pages dont do contents like that. Like useful stuffs, instead anime arts and memes. I mean, i dont mind about memes or anime, but for the good sake, they need talk more about their own game.
few additional perk points are not that noticeable but the price of these soldiers definitely is, I wish better soldiers to have something unique that would encourage me to grind and pay for them
I got a question. I want to know if it is better to use, for exemple, a squad from level 3 than level 1. For exemple, is it better to use the Assault squad level 3 skin or the level 1 skin?
no there is. the 16/16/16 I was saying was assuming max points The dumb thing is that you sell soldiers for 95% so why do they even have the random rolls
quadro I haven't played enlisted in a year becuase i really think it's not a good game but I'm still subscibed and check you out once in awhile just because i think you're one of the most genuinely pleasant to listen to and sincere youtubers i have ever watched. I'd rather you do other things than unlisted but i just hope you're still having fun
You forgot to mention that we must lvl up the soldier class/squad to improve the weapons. Which, in my opinion is the reason why we should grind them
Also that total perk points add minor buffs themselves such as sprint speed and weapon stability, which is pretty big deal

how does this work? i’ve noticed some of my soldiers can do this but i have no idea why or how i can recreate it
There is another thing to consider, atleast for engineers, IDK about the rest of the squads but a tier 2 engineer squads can make machine gun nests while tier 1 engineer squads can't.

Thanks Professor!
I just got into this game since a few days and am really enjoying it. I also like your content a lot to understand the game better. Good job!
Build rally points

Make sure you have an engineer in every squad

Are any of the tier 2 or 3 soldiers BR locked? Like can i give a basic rifle to a machinegunner 3 and have them in br 2?

I'm starting to get shot through bunker walls. Come on devs get on the freakin cheaters

I think thats fair! Gotta be careful with it getting too strong, though, since soldier tiers arent restricted by BR
I got a question. I want to know if it is better to use, for exemple, a squad from level 3 than level 1. For exemple, is it better to use the Assault squad level 3 skin or the level 1 skin?
all my squad maxed and use III rifleman and IV assaulter in br 1 - V
Is there no more rng perk points when you buy a soldier?
no there is. the 16/16/16 I was saying was assuming max points
The dumb thing is that you sell soldiers for 95% so why do they even have the random rolls
I level up all my level 1 soldiers and skip all the tiers in-between the max level soldier
is that the same for engineers? or can they build better stuff the higher tier?
The Engineer II squad can build a medium MG
Can I re-assign may 1s to a new higher unit but same outfit?
As long as its the same class the tier dont matter

maybe one day I will be able to transition to other games! :) Thank you for the kind words
Doesn't higher tier soldiers come with a better AI reaction also? Tier 1 solders are just bricks waiting to get shot.
I’m a rifel man 3 and boy what da hell
This game is just too grindy it takes forever
