That's the best way to do it. Work on everything while it's removed. I know when I replaced my spark plugs I redid the valve covers coil packs plenum spacers it was a fun little project lol Great content bro like always
I would make a video on it, but there’s already a video I think is as best explained as it can be. Here’s the link, hope it helps! ruclips.net/video/TZJfWQLGUZI/видео.html
Hey just wondering if you every found out that you basically switched out a stock plunem that is the same as a Mrev2, and if your gonna do a spacer you might as well do a Kinetix upper intake sense it's a hard composite plastic the reduces heat, unlike the aluminum.
I’ve heard ppl say the spacer on the rev up is a loss in power? Anyone else hear this? I’ve heard unless you are adding the mrev2 with it it’s useless… I have a spacer… do I just not put it on?? Getting dyno tuned for bolt ons soon.. so I Wana make the best of it
Got a used mrev2 and it has these fat rubber washers that I guess go to the six upper plenum holes? Did yours come with them or did you add them? N what years are non revup/rev up
Nissan throttle bodies come with a protective coating over the throttle blade, if you use cleaner you'll be removing that and could* damage the throttle body att: Nissan tech
Yeah I’ve definitely heard of the coating but I thought it was just so carbon doesn’t stick on to the throttle body valve as easily. I’d assume with over 100k miles and countless heat cycles the coating would definitely wear off but assuming it did take it off you would just have to clean it more often

Great video buddy! Quick question for you on the spacer and open air intake mods. Did you have to through a tube on your ECU with these upgrades or are you rolling with the stock tune without any worry of a check engine light on or the car running funny.
The kinetix v+ is essentially a manifold with a spacer built into it! You’ll get basically the same gains just putting on the 5/16” motordyne spacer. Don’t put the both on because then you’ll be gaining power only at the very top and sacrifice all your low end power. I’d recommend only the 5/16” motordyne spacer with an iso thermal gasket and you’ll have the best bang per dollar for power!
I spent maybe like 500, I did get the mrev2 for a sick deal though but it would be cheaper without it like around 350ish depending on what brand of things you go with and where you buy them!
It works WAYYYYY better on revups, if you have a non rev up it’s almost not worth it because it’s almost the same, I just got mine used from a friend for a good deal.
Yeah it’s not worth it on non revups, it’s the exact same plenum with shaved runners, revups have a different plenum so that’s why mrev2 works so well with them for power
Hahaha it’s literally been dyno tested for YEARS and literally changes the PHYSICAL size of the intake plenum which allows more volume of air inside, you also tune the car to maximize the gains. what are your sources and why doesn’t it work?

100% right and thanks bro appreciate it as always! 🙏
3:09 and that’s why she’s spitting 😂
After installing all of those parts, how do i do to reprogram the car? Can you do a video on that my friend? Great video I will like and subscribe.

quality video man! what's the outro song?
I honestly got it on RUclips years ago so I don’t remember and I sped it up to 150% so it doesn’t even sound like the original 😩😂
This planum spacer czp its almost the same as the one from Z1
Subbed, i love the vibes

Hey man not sure if you remember but is there a certain torque to spec when putting everything back together?? thanks!
Hey is there a detailed link or video on how to clean the throttle body?
I installed the 5/16 spacer and did not notice a difference. Wasn't worth the $220.

Great question! All I did was all the relearn process for ecu, idle, and a couple other ones, but that’s about it!
No check engine light either unless I have a vacuum leak bad enough but at that point the car would run like ass
Did you have a second gasket on top of the spacer?????
I always toss my build stickers/decals underneath the hood and keep the outside clean.
I should have done that honestly haha
Yoo that's a big screen in the center where'd you get it
It’s a dasaita head unit!
How do you do a ecu reset?
Tune your g, also what tool is that hand tool
Hopefully I tune it soon!
And what hand tool?
So this lower plenum isnt worth the buy for my 2007 G35 coupe 5AT? It's the same but just shaved? I want to know if i should buy it.
I don’t recommend it to be honest, very very small difference, I’d just buy the spacer and that’s all!
@@JoeVazquez what do you think about the motordyne plenum spacer and the kenetix v+ plenum with my car?

@@JoeVazquez thank you man. i love the fact that you always respond❤️ very helpful
Anytime bro! I got you 💪
Or does motordyne spacer build one in ?
I used the oem one on the bottom and then put the plenum spacer!
What was the cost of all the parts together?
I spent maybe like 500, I did get the mrev2 for a sick deal though but it would be cheaper without it like around 350ish depending on what brand of things you go with and where you buy them!
Whens the tune ? Is recomended
Once I get more parts that’ll be something I definitely do!
@@JoeVazquez i feel , i got a fatty exhaust and im waiting to line up a tune for the plenum spacer an to bore the crap out of it ! Sick G bro!
Hell yeah bro! Let me know how it feels after!
Now You should do a cooling bypass and you would feel the difference
Yeah! That would be a nice addition to this, thank you 🙏
Check out my newest upload coming out today, just for you ;)
About to try this mod
Yes! You’ll like it!
Does the mrev 2 work on revups only or also non revups?
It works WAYYYYY better on revups, if you have a non rev up it’s almost not worth it because it’s almost the same, I just got mine used from a friend for a good deal.

@@JoeVazquez right on, I just ordered a motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer from czp, thanks for the info
Same place I got it! Czp has great prices! Let me know how you like it after!
Ayo bruh no way that’s ur actual name
Why haha 😂
Joe Vazquez because that’s my name too 🤣 exactly like that
I’m about to break your heart, joe is just a nickname 😭😭😭
Joe Vazquez wow 😂 it’s all good still pretty cool tho, is it short for Joesph ?
Haha it’s Jose but I’ve been called joe longer than Jose that I forget I’m called that 😭
Bullshit.. Plenum spacer doesn’t matter waste of money... no horsepower
Hahaha it’s literally been dyno tested for YEARS and literally changes the PHYSICAL size of the intake plenum which allows more volume of air inside, you also tune the car to maximize the gains. what are your sources and why doesn’t it work?
It works best with full exhaust, intake and last but not least a tune !
