Why aren't these restaurants on canal street finding locations that will provide patios for them?
We got the same crap in Toronto with sidewalk patios and they are even blocking off bike lanes to put them there too... which is odd because they just put the bike lanes on Danforth when they should have just not bothered putting bike lanes there in the first place and their patios would not have been an issue... not to mention it was actually safer on Danforth BEFORE they put bike lanes because now the bike lane is inside of the parked cars and pedestrians are crossing the lane from both sides, doubling the danger than before where the pedestrians only approached from the one side...

Same crap when the pandemic hit. The North end needs to sue a class action lawsuit. Mayor Wu has a serious issue with the North end that needs to be called out. At this rate she should be voted out of office.
