I mean, not having a concrete deadline helped it a bit I'd say, also the fact that it kinda feels like the original super mario bros with the secrets that the wonderflower brings, helps it too imo.
So I wasn't really interested in Wonder, but seeing these videos on it have me intrigued. I looks so weird and fun.

It’s really good. It’s a mix of all the other franchises in one imo (paper Mario, 3d Mario) the only thing that is not good in this game are the boss fights

The general reaction of "they must have been high when they made this" makes Wonder the first true Super Mario sequel.
I can definitely see them using the enemies and power ups in the next 3D Mario and I’m all for it

Seeing the silhouette levels gave me the biggest amount of nostalgia because all i remembered was the Donkey Kong Country levels that were during a sunset...

One of my favorite parts about this game is its reuse of older tiles, and enemies in this game. It makes it feel like the definitive Mario game.

it's a lot easier to recognize that the Red Talking Flowers are not world-dependant and do in fact show up earlier in the Sub because they're supposed to have completely different voices than the Orange Talking Flowers (exception: Colour Switch Palace). Don't know why the English Dub doesn't do that.

if you really want to 100% the game, there’s a few things you missed.
first, you do have to get the top of every flagpole, and you also missed a secret exit in 1-2.
there are also 2 pipes hidden on the world map of world 1 that you missed

My friend at school has had plans since september to go and buy this game after school today and play it over the weekend so I want to watch and see what its about.
My impression of the game so far is that it's Rayman made to look like Mario (which if anyone is liking the silly shenanigans, I would recommend checking out Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends).
