It’s mostly available in Spanish because we love Lulu to an extreme! Lulu was so popular that Mexico tried to cash in on the popularity of the name Lulu and made a live action show called The Little House of Lulu with a grown woman and a grown man dressed as a teddy bear and shitty effects hated the show as a kid because I felt like I was tricked every time my clueless aunt will say Lulu is on and it wasn’t my Lulu lol

Such a wholesome review, it's great to see attention for Little Lulu; as reprints of the comic are coming out by Drawn & Quarterly. Also, with the obscure 1976 anime, I was able to recover some of the English-dubbed episodes recently. Anyone want to see it reuploaded? I'll be glad to do so.

The Little Lulu comics were very popular in Brazil. Lulu and Tubby had their own comic books (named "Luluzinha" and "Bolinha" here), all characters had localized names down to the last name. Funny enough, when The Little Lulu Show aired here HBO didn't care about dubbing it, but they did take the care of translating the names in the brazilian portuguese subtitles just as we did in the comics.

I have literally never heard of this show, but I’ve heard of every other show referenced in the video. I’m getting a strong Arthur vibe.

I remember watching "The Little Lulu Show" when we first got digital cable and it included HBO. This show, Crashbox and Happily Ever After were my favorites. Great video. Thanks for the wave of nostalgia.

I really respect how consistent the quality of these videos are. Its also nice how no one really talks about shows like these (i dont mean cartoons, but these ones in particular we all seemed to forget about) on youtube. Its really refreshing.

I remember this show. I remember my mom mentioning she use to watch it as a kid but it was weird since it was released in 1995. She grew up in South America so your mention of it being fully available in Spanish makes so much sense.

Huh... I just posted a comment saying that the Little Lulu anime in English isn't "lost" anymore (at least four episodes aren't) but my comment seems to have disappeared. Perhaps because it contained a link? Was gonna comment again because previously I had only seen volume two but a little bit of digging showed they had volume one as well.

So glad to see someone someone talking about The Little Lulu Show. I loved this show when it premiered, but didn't get to see it consistently until I got HBO Family when I was 12. I love Tracey Ulman too. I hope it gets a full DVD release at some point. I'll subscribe cause your pretty funny too!

The animation looks like a cross between something from Disney in the early 2000s and that Clifford the Big Red Dog series from the same era.

There is a brazilian comic book series with teen version of the characters. I've never read them, but with 65 issues published between 2010 and 2015, it sure is a respectable run.
