I've been waiting for this collab since Raden debuted. When Raden asked members who we wanted her to collab with, Lamy was my vote. I already have another portion translated, I just need to edit and time it.

4:02 - 猫被る(nekokkaburu) - In the literal sense, I like to picture it like someone with a cat on top of their head. What it actually means is to pretend to be innocent/sweet in order to get something out of it. I was trying to find a nice word to use for it and my friend told me about how the word "demure" is making the rounds lately. I considered using it for seiso, but I felt like that'd upset people lol.

One of my fave parts of Raden's debut was pre-chat. About 10 min before debut, Raden typed in chat about how nervous she was and she started drinking. I had a feeling immediately that Hololive found someone real special lmao.
I also remember seeing early clips of Lamy. Comparing them to even a year or two later or now, the vibe is very different lmao! I'm always glad though when the girls can feel like they can just be themselves!

確かに、「猫を被る」の英訳は難しそうね。"demure"と"coy"を合わせたような感じだろうか。
日本では忠実さを持つ犬と対比して、猫に対して割とそういうイメージが強いんだけども、その辺がちょっと英語圏と違うのかもしれん。
