Land Rover Discovery 3 (LR3) Coolant Drainage Pipes Clearing (Water in passenger floor)

Diagnosing the cause of permanent water in the front passenger floor leads to finding the ac drainage pipes being clogged and water overflowing in the passenger floor.
Upon drying of the carpets, electrical cables are found completely submerged and thankfully this issue was found and fixed at the right time because water and electric harnesses are not a very good combination.

Same problem can occur when you have sunroof drainage clogged. I had to clean all that stuff the same manner - wires in water, all the floor wet and soaked, most of the metal clips rusty. We should check all the drainages at least once per year.

Hi I have done two blower motors in a couple of weeks when I changed the motors there is water in both of them and they don't run and the floor pan is soaked any ideas ? thanks

Possibly windscreen drains are clogged and water enters where cabin air should enter or more plausible is water ingress from the windscreen seal or pillar cover near the windscreen which should have insulating clips that can deteriorate over time. That is if the car doesn’t have a sunroof and the sunroof drains could be clogged as well
