I knew it wasn’t just me. Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of sables throwing games and dying on hook in the first few minutes of games, it’s gotten to the point where me and my friends have nicknamed them “selling sables” lmao
Had a P25 Sable mad I couldn't save her in endgame against a camping Nemesis WITH A ZOMBIE THERE WITH THEM, and I messaged her first to apologize like "hey sorry I couldn't save you but I tried. Ggs, you were good at chase!"
Sables are the crossbreed of Neas, Megs and Fengs istfg

@@DBD_RabeI mean, he might have simply forgotten to or more likely, felt like he didn't have time since he was in a rush to return to the other hooked person. Especially considering he silenced another survivor's scream earlier on in the match. I think people are seriously reading way too much into a single hit on hook.

@@WyattOShea I don't think you understand what "objectively" means. Hitting a survivor once on hook stops their scream and therefore isn't necessarily intended as a BM act. In the same way that survivors might crouch/tbag once to say thanks (easy to misinterpret though) or to avoid a Pinhead chain or Huntress hatchet etc. If I play Huntress and a surv ducks me, I'm not gonna scream OMG IM GeTtInG t33bagged LITERAL OBJECTIVE BM!!
I was super hesitant because I myself am not a big fan of turn-based combat, but I caved in and gave it chance. I highly reccomend Baldurs Gate 3 Spooks, it's an incredible game filled to the brim with passion, love and detail and it's so enjoyable with or without friends. A beautiful aspect to it is that you can beat the game quickly or slowly, it all depends on how much you're enjoying the world and how much you want to explore.

I third this. BG3 is an amazing game and probably my favorite game in the last 10 years. There's just so much to do and discover but it doesn't take as long as something like Red Dead 2 imo.

She didn't DC. She was AFK for the entire match so it says she DC. I know this because it happened to me as killer and survivor.
Yeah they added a thing where if a killer or survivor goes AFK for too long or the entire game it will give you a DC penalty. It's to punish people for not participating during the match, like AFK killers or survivor's not wanting to play but won't DC,

this is the reason i run kindred in all my builds, on all characters.. give them atleast some info as to who is where.
but then again it's soloQ... they either rush hook with the killer right there, or leave you hanging.

It definitely wasn't your fault, and I doubt the sable blamed you for it. But the other 2 teammates didn't even bother even after seeing you got chased, so I can understand WHY she didn't bother.
Not saying I agree with her, just saying I can see why she did it, it's pretty frustrating when your teammates just don't bother coming for you when they can clearly see another survivor is being chased. But that is the solo q experience. She'd probably had other bad solo q matches before this one and just said "nah F this" lol.

right? some people take this game way too seriously. I never tbag for that reason, but when I'm killer I think it's so silly when survivors start tagging at me to get chased. it's like entertaining a dog that wants to play. tagging at exit gate is more rude and mean spirited to me, but just during chase I've always liked to chase the more animated survivors like that. I won't hit them on hook bk I see that at mean spirited but I'll give them nods and spins and moonwalks while carrying them to be animated and silly back! I like playing around as both survivor and killer
@thefluffyaj4119 right. I love to have fun and to nods and moonwalk and spins if I miss hits or shots and all that. It's fun. If I get bagged in chases, I'll always give them a slap on hook. It's all fun. I can understand ppl do abuse it and try to get on your nerves but I dont let it bug me as much anymore

@Alyraah_ I've been playing a lot more killer recently bc solo que is a literal nightmare and it's been fun. I always try to have fun w the survivors. If I play like slinger I'll shoot so much and try to hit ridiculous shots lmao I'll spin around if I miss a swing lol I like to goof off

I'm only human with emotions. At least I don't hook them in the end. If you beat me, then GG to all. No one likes to be insulted playing a game and giving them something to run from. If they do that to me in chase, well, that just means you want me to chase you harder. They need to give the killer an emote.

I got bled out for "hiding" all match recently. I asked the killer what I did to deserve it and he said I was hiding all game. I did 4 out of the 5 gens solo since everyone else just wanted to interact with him and not do the obj. Lmfao.

He probably had a rough game the match before and decided to take it out on the next group of survivors. This game is just an endless cycle of abuse honestly. It's good to take breaks from it

To the killers out there who encounter skilful survivors that loop you for a reasonable amount of time, remember, you choose to loop that survivor. Yes, maps like The Game are really difficult for some killers, but eventually, as a killer, you should be strategic about your chases. The other survivors in this game weren't as strong, and the killer definitely noticed it. However, he preferred chasing a survivor who still had every good pallet in the game and didn't express any toxic behaviour. A survivor's role is to survive and be altruistic. A killer's role is to hunt and kill. Being toxic doesn't mean playing by the rules and elements of the game, but purposely behaving in a specific manner, mean or arrogant, for no valid reason to the plot. To slap on the hook because the survivor is good at escaping your grasp is childish compared to slapping a survivor who cheats, t-bags to taunt, or spams tools at the killer's face. The same thing goes for the other way around.
Killers give survivors shit for doing gens, survivors give killers shit for killing survivors…truly the toxic DBD players have something against people trying to play the game.

Yeah, I would teabag back if I escaped after the Killer hit me on hook. If someone gives me bad sportsmanship, I give it back. If someone teabags at me first, and I get my revenge, I hit them on hook too. And someone even got salty at me for that.

Advice? Run windows on the Game lol, or just windows in general.
The killer wasn't BMing, hitting the surv once on hook is standard for preventing the scream and practically mandatory when hooking Elodie.
95% of those chases was just running Windows of Opportunity on Gideon and throwing down god pallets like candy without even trying/needing to greed them. He did a good job juking/crouching Oni's M2 though.
@@GangsterGreg he had to play it safe cuz they basically played a 1v3 from the start cuz she went 2nd and then afkd. U can't blame him for that. Predropping is also a playstyle, so its not toxic no matter how boring it is because tunneling is also boring but its still a playstyle and u cant deny that. He hit ace on hook only on his 2nd hook, so it wasn't cuz he hated the scream. Its ok to defend killers but dont try to turn the situation around to make it seem like this wasn't BM, it obviously was
@@DBD_RabeChill, I'm not criticising how Spooks played it, he did everything right. Just saying that predropping 500 pallets on Gideon isn't what I'd call brilliant or even very skilled. It's just a shit map, it removes skill expression from both sides.

Oni proxy camped a hook early for pressure and it worked out into a 3v1, he def played to win. And spooks did the same. None of those strats require skill (proxy camp and predropping) but spooks outskilled him in the long run and took advantage of mistakes like committing for too long and it ended up in oni getting a bit frustrated. none of them did anything wrong but being toxic solves nothing, especially because spooks even followes up with a "ggwp ❤️❤️", which is pretty cute imo. Who doesnt love to see "ggwp

Everyone in DBD or in general is a hypocrite, people complain about something or say somethings bad but encourage it or look the other way when it happens to someone they don't like or care about.
Bad take spooks, if the majority of ur team in solo Q sells you out it’s okay to sell them out, especially since you can see if anyone is coming. If I reach stage two on first hook I go make food cause it’s a gg already, that same team won’t take hits or care to heal you after unhook most the time.

I had a survivor tell me to “stop hiding so much” when all I was doing was soloing all the gens (did 4 out of 5 of the gens). Your right team mate I’ll just run at the killer all match and make sure I don’t do the objectives 👍

Yesterday I had a Leon bring a Wraith to my gen and the two of them teamed against me. I was the ONLY one doing gens while the other 3 were goofing around with sabo builds and taking hits.
After the match both the Leon and Wraith were talking smack about me "hiding all game" and that I got my karma... The Wraith said "if you were doing gens all game they would have been done quicker" ... I had to kindly remind him gens take a lot longer when he's running Pain Res, Jolt and Pop and I'm the only one doing gens.
Genuinely couldn't tell who was the bigger AH in that situation tbh.
@@boringmonkey6958 ya I had a match where I had 2 healthy teammates that could have taken a hit for me right next to the gate that was open, instead they just hid and I got hooked and killed. I told them in end game chat “thank you guys for helping” and one of them said “just get better” like I could have done anything in that situation lol. But then the killer started absolutely destroying him in end game chat, I like it when Killers help out.

Looking at your video I don't think the Sable was ever in the match. She was afk before she even got downed. Even after she was dead it still did not show her as DCed. So pretty sure that DC shows after match because she was afk from start to end.

Ngl I get the first Sable’s frustration from her teammates not saving her. Yeah you tried and went for the unhook and killer came back but you also hopped on a gen rather than attempting the unhook again despite being relatively close by. It is random lobbies and if my teammates let me go to death hook that far into the game and only managed to pop one gen I’d be a bit disheartened as well.

Windows, lithe, adrenaline and whatever 4th perk has been my build recently and i swear i get value from all 3 every game, and as you can see here there are many instances where he wouldve gotten value, those perks are my favorite i ran them all throughout the event

0:00 I can't stand turn-based combat but there's something about Baldur's Gate 3 that's satisfying. Give it a try for at least two hours, and if you don't like it you could always refund it. Two hours is more than enough time. I was an hour in and I was hooked. It's not everyone's cup of tea and it definitely wasn't mine until I tried it.
Them hitting you on hook also made it easier for you to escape. Been there done that 😂

I don't blame the Oni. I've played that map on Oni and it's not the easiest thing to do. That map in general isn't exactly killer sided and it's strange to me how hitting a survivor one time on the hook bothers them. It literally quiets their character from screaming in your ear.
I guess starting drama helps get more views though.

I know you said you’re not big on BG3 for the whole turn based and the dice aspect but if it’s the whole dice aspect you could try Divinity 2 made by the same company with a changed system but still turn based
Side Note: Please take the time to finish Red Dead Redemption 2 when you can. A million and one people have already sung the praises of the game so I won't waste time doing the same, just trust that it's 100% worth your time (and it'd be fun to watch on stream).

And the other 2 teammates are the sort of players that make playing Solo Q miserable and frustrating at times. They clearly saw that Spooks got chased, yet none of them went for the save instead. Typical solo q match, I can't say I fully blame the Sable for wanting to go next.

I had a killer who got the 4k and proceeded to get mad at me because the match took too long because THEIR perks were working as they should. I was like, uh ok?
For context, he had hex ruin and the other hex blinded me, they tunneled out the first two survivors right away, which is no biggie, then gets upset because I don’t help the remaining survivor after I unhooked them twice and since I was BLINDED I couldn’t find them and I was searching trying to find them, and they were monitoring the gens with Ruin and asking me why I didn’t do at least one gen. I couldn’t even heal when I unhooked because they went straight for the hook, but according to the killer they were giving us a chance to do a gen and for me to help the other survivor who i couldn't find.
I really don’t care how people play, that doesn’t bother me, what bothered me is the killer winning the game and getting on my case because their build worked as it should and made it difficult for me to do anything, am I in the wrong here and just didn’t see it? I dunno.
