Literally 😂 ‘Find new lobby’ and keep it moving. It’s that easy. We all get frustrated bc we’ve been ‘Tunnled’ ‘camped’ whatever but no one deserves to be abused for it
Especially since most surv mains never solo they ONLY swf. Like you can wait for your SWF friends to make it easier on you but camping, tunneling, slugging is a big no no.
That's the survivor logic lol. I do what I want. You absolutely cannot do what you want. I can play efficiently in my objective. HOW DARE YOU DO THE SAME. People take this game way too seriously it's kinda disturbing tbh
That statement struck me hard ‘Name any other multiplayer game where you care about the enemy players fun’. It’s amazing how many rules the survivors place on this game.
There isn’t really any other multiplayer game where you can immediately incapacitate the other player. In DBD you can get hooked and camped to death 1 minute into the match. I can’t think of any other game in which that’s possible. That doesn’t excuse the people sending nasty messages though, just playing devil’s advocate.
@@CPhelps1247 ???? In a battle royal you can literally kill a lootless player in 2seconds of landing. And your team doesnt get value from you dying early or anything like that. Its actually more generous in dbd than other games...

I’ve thrown so many games trying to play “fair” and passing up moments where survivors screw up just to avoid tunneling. My fave part is that when you play “fair” they get all cocky at the end game with Tbagging at the gates like they somehow bested you at the game. I don’t get it???

That dwight in the backround while the salt flowed was just the icing on the cake. But yeah, I see the entitled players as that kid in the playground that nobody liked playing with because they'd cry if they lost. The problem is a lot of players have adopted this mentality because it's easier to blame and hate someone else than it is to take a laugh at something so stupid. They take 0 responsibility for bad plays, it's always the other player's fault. Stop me if you heard it before. "I lost because of _____" 1. Bad teammates 2. Overpowered perks 3. Overpowered Addons 4. Overpowered Killer But at the end of the day, these people that can't separate reality from games and seem to equate people based on how they play... that scares me.
It actually is possible to lose because of bad team mates, though. If someone unhooks you in Leatherface's face, even if he's not camping, that's not your fault, but you're going to lose because of it. That's why killer is so much more fun to me, I don't need to rely on other people. Winning and losing is entirely dependent on me. And I have the capability to be nice to people who are having a bad time in a game.
This is random but the cadence in the way Spook said the word “cater” at 1:08 when it was time for him to do a British accent was actually pretty spot on. He almost sounded like Andrew Garfield for a moment.🤣
I literally just went against a face-camping Wraith that was hitting me and, crazy thing, I wasn't mad. It made me honored, actually, since I'm not very good at looping. He lost.
Spooknjukes and his VODS made me change. I cannot thank him enough its just a Bloody game. I used to be the A-hole who would cry but after watching these VODs I realized what a child I was being. Now I am having 100% more fun because I just need to care if I have fun and even when I play badly I have fun because its a game.
You said it spot on. My fun does NOT correlate to their fun because they are on the opposite team. I can do whatever I want on my side as long as I'm not cheating or exploiting. They can do what they want ALL the time, why is it so different for killer, lmao. "Oh, but your fun leaves someone doing nothing." Okay? That's not my problem lol.
@@Brvnda Yeah! It's not being toxic or anything, you're just playing the game. Playing to your own standards doesn't make you a bad person, just like if you don't like to play that way, you don't have to either. People just get upset when they can't control how the other side plays.
Because you're a human being and you try to be considerate so everyone has fun. Sure, everyone can play how they want but intentionally ruining the game for them is just pathetic.
@@NatjelovesBillkOr. get this. It’s called macro gaming. Majority of the time, survivors that get slugged, camped, tunneled, often make mistakes to put them in that situation. It’s rare that a killer will camp someone at 5 gens, but that’s immediately what people go to with this argument. If someone makes a mistake, like rushing into get a hook, and I can get 2 people down instead of 1, I’m going to do that. It’s not pathetic to put pressure on survivors. Same with killers. It’s not the survivors job to slow down on generators. Telling a killer not to play in an unfun way is like telling survivors not to try to do gens fast. Its entitlement. A lot of the time it’s teammates that make mistakes.
i hate going against basement bubbas, not because it's toxic, it's just kinda boring but in reality a basement bubba shouldn't get more then 2 kills a game so if the survivors wanna throw the game and try and save thats there fault
Yeah like i dont understand why dont survivors let killers camp? If you unhook your teammate then he eaither going to tunnle the one that got unhooked making them go to the next hook stage or go for someone diffrent like just let the killer camp if he camps hes not patroling no patroling means more gens done.
I just try to continue doing gens but usually my team runs for the rescue then I end up getting hatch 50% of the time depending on if I’m lucky I don’t get mad at people who face camp/tunnel because it’s a waste of energy. I do get a little salty tho when the killer is afk with a macro I don’t understand why some killers do that I get face camping but why do absolutely nothing but load into a game?
but is that fun for the first survivor who has to get hooked its is in no way not toxic. it ruins people enjoyment of something on purpose its not some strat it only works to piss people off so yes its toxic. by his logic in the video if I stared stream sniping him with hacks its just a game he has have no right to be mad I don't have to cater to anyone's fun what's the difference between the two
The problem lies within the rules of the game. Technically speaking, there’s nothing in the rules against tunneling, or camping. They even have perks that can assist in that. There’s also nothing in the rules against BM, flashlights, tbagging, slugging, or even DCing. I mean you get a penalty for DCing. It isn’t fun to enter into a match, and get camped out first hook. While that doesn’t inherently fall on the killer to “make sure survivors have fun” I think the larger point is the imbalances in the game itself. There’s too many different descriptions of what is and isn’t fair, or fun. And until all sides can agree without toxicity. Then it will continue. But on the same coin, when either side plays in a way that is purposefully to upset the other side for a response it just seems shitty. I’m not accusing you of anything. I’m just making a general statement from my observations.
I would agree with you, but the camping, tunneling and slugging seems more of a response to how imbalanced the game is towards survivors. With a lack of more than three very strong killers and with almost every map being in favor of survs it's difficult to add on top of all of that some sort of code we have to follow to make the game fun. Personally, I tunnel, camp, slug then just hand the hatch to last survivor nearly every game and I have no guilt whatsoever
I mean, they aren't against the rules for a reason, that's why tunneling, camping, etc. are not reportable. Devs said they are game tactics and fully endorsed. Like the comment above me said DBD is heavily survivor sided so I kind of see why killers have to resort to those strategies sometimes.
That GTA analogy was so good. I love how being a _fictional murder_ isn't bad, but being a fictional murder who *stands still?!* Bro you must like, kick puppies irl.
The entitlement of survivors never ceases to baffle me. Last night I got a 4k at 2 gens as level 20 spirit with no gen regression perks at Red mmr. One guy complained that I didn't chase him enough and called me a noob. I replied "so you lost to a noob with no gen regression perks?" He went quiet after that lol
I remember being this kind of gamer till I was in my early 20’s; getting angry at my teammates or the enemy and blaming everyone and everything but myself for losing.
Yeah me too, i stopped playing seriously after i realized I was solving artificial difficulties instead of real life difficulties. Now i play to have fun, not compete.
I'm reminded of a discussion I had with someone at the beginning of the Covid lockdowns who said that "if anyone plays as Plague while we're in the middle of a pandemic, it REALLY tells you all you need to know about that person." (Implying that they were a bad person for playing as Plague during a pandemic.) I tried to say that all it said about that person was that they wanted to play as a character in a video game... because it's true. Adiris as a character has NOTHING to do with Covid... it's not even the same type of plague, for crying out loud!
This is why I stopped playing this game after 3 months. I‘ve never witnessed such a weird community of players before; everyone is always super pissed off, angry, or just people that relentlessly complain. Also I’ve never received so many post game messages before in my 20+ years of online gaming, messages where always about reporting players, “violating” TOS, or just angry messages about camping, trolling, or whatever.
This community is perpetually pissed off at EVERYONe. Devs, ordinary players, streamers, I'm sure they'd even find a reason to be pissed off at the janitor cleaning BHVR's offices if they wanted.
@@rinzler2763 As someone who played a lot of For Honor and a little bit of DBD {I feel 1000 hours in FH minimum, around 30 hours in DBD}, DBD gave me the same vibes I was tired of in FH, if not even worse: An extremely toxic community that gets pissed off at nearly everything you do and use, fueled by a ridiculous grind, long matchmaking, and bad/boring balancing. Maybe it had to do with me trying DBD around the time I was still dealing with/playing FH and was real tired of it's bullshit by then, but it feels like DBD's community is a bit worse than even FH's.
I love the dichotomy at the end of the video, there is a guy bitching about whatever the hell he was bitching about and one of the survivors saying gg, being a gigachad and not raging over a videogame
Spooks is fighting a losing battle. Explaining the same thing over & over again to every entitled survivor he comes across doesn’t even put a dent into this communitie’s double standard backwards mindset. I appreciate the effort tho
I just want a horror movie where the killer gets hit with whatever and the guy who did it is clicking his flashlight and tea bagging. Then the killer does something against the "survivor rules" and the guy is like "Wait you can't do that that's against the rules!" and the killer kills hm anyway and if the killer speaks he just says "I don't play by your rules only my own" or "You play to much dead by daylight"
Love how they never attempt to justify their reasoning for why you’re a bad person. They just try to gaslight you into believing them by repeating themselves.
I developed the same mindset you have towards the game by watching your videos and I realized that I have a lot more fun playing. I oftentimes find myself siding with the killer in post game chat when my entitled teammates complain about normal behaviour like camping a hook after the gates were already opened. It's honestly ridiculous how some people treat others over a video game. Sometimes I even manage to make the survivors see reason and they end up apologizing in chat and it turns super wholesome. It's not much, but it's honest work.

Doing these always made me feel nice. And I never once had the moment someone do it back to me so I was proly and understandably in the wrong in terms of playing the game since the objective is to survive and eliminate other players.

Are you really crying over people saying mean things to you after you're wilfully admitting you don't care whether they have a garbage time or not? And this isn't like CSGO or whatever where there's only one way to win. In DBD, you can choose to play the game in such a way where you both have a good time, or you can choose to cry over people getting mad at you camping them their entire game. P.S. I don't think camping and tunneling have no place in this game, they do, and are things that I think can be part of a fun game for both sides. Basement IQ Bubba is just the most unfun way to play the game. "It's just a game bro" doesn't change that.

I love how salty survivor mains be like “I can do what I want” but then get mad about someone’s playstyle. It’s like some people just want to have something to bitch about or be negative about and it says a lot about them. People like this are just sad, its amazing the way u put up with salt.
"I can do what i want" when you say that back "You are ruining peoples fun, you are a trash human"
Exactly entilted survivor mains are basically like "you didnt let me win"
That statement struck me hard ‘Name any other multiplayer game where you care about the enemy players fun’. It’s amazing how many rules the survivors place on this game.
I swear the survivors are like slave owners and the killers are like slaves
There isn’t really any other multiplayer game where you can immediately incapacitate the other player. In DBD you can get hooked and camped to death 1 minute into the match. I can’t think of any other game in which that’s possible. That doesn’t excuse the people sending nasty messages though, just playing devil’s advocate.

@@courtneyharris1006 it’s not about dying. It’s about waiting in que for 5 minutes just to get 1 minute of gameplay to then getting hooked and forced to look at a killer’s face for 2 minutes. If you get shot in a BR, you die and immediately jump in a new game.
I’ve thrown so many games trying to play “fair” and passing up moments where survivors screw up just to avoid tunneling. My fave part is that when you play “fair” they get all cocky at the end game with Tbagging at the gates like they somehow bested you at the game. I don’t get it???
Or they STILL like to call you a shit killer and/or find something else to bitch about in end-game chat

"I lost because of _____"
1. Bad teammates
2. Overpowered perks
3. Overpowered Addons
4. Overpowered Killer
But at the end of the day, these people that can't separate reality from games and seem to equate people based on how they play... that scares me.

Wouldn't it technically be considered lore accurate too if all bubba did was camp since he doesn't leave his house? 🤔
Yeah it's just really annoying I low-key hate this guy
Oh shit. I forgot about this thread lmao.

I developed the same mindset you have towards the game by watching your videos and I realized that I have a lot more fun playing. I swear. All the survivors complaining about going against you with basement bubba… it would be an absolute honor to play against your basement bubba mr spooks!
I typically do not like playing killer or watching them but I love your videos. You always compliment them and their plays, even when killing them. And you seem like you genuinely just wanna have fun
I'm a killer main, in fact I basically always play killer. But it's still a bullshit argument to get upset at people when you're like "I don't give a shit whether you have fun, I like camping you to death, it's just a game bro".
I love the logic from people like you. “Crying” over mean words is invalid. But insulting strangers over a video game is valid. LOL words mean nothing, but a video game? Yeah that shit is real!
@@spooknjukes9886 You said what matters is how you treat people. How you play a game with someone is an example of how you treat them. The game isn't real, but every decision you make playing it is real.
@@roguenite6494 how I play a PvP game where you’re a murderer trying to kill the other team is not a reflection of reality. I use playstyles I enjoy. The intent isn’t to upset people. Otherwise why would I give hatch or raid people I’ve gone against who were kind? Take a step back and separate yourself from this game. It’s not healthy to bd so connected with it.
your impersonations are fuckin spot on man love it
"It's just a game" is such a shitty argument, especially when your fun is about winning the game. A boring game is time loss, because you didn't had fun or get better.
I don't get how people have fun watching and playing Bubba camping, but you're right that if you are enjoying it, you have no reason to not play it.
I'm sure those survivors enjoys bullying killer (since they took the time to come on stream to trashtalk) and think they have the right to say anything.
i can guarantee you that no PvP game exists where both sides have fun, since the object is to win, no other rewards or freebies or scores showing you how well you did will beat out winning, theres literally no point in playing fair in pvp, you want to fucking win, if i play a battle royale, i could have killed half the players in that game, if i die to the last dude, thats still a negative
@@reddog9110 You can have fun and lose, I really hope than few people think like you, but I feel like that toxicity comes from that overfelt sentiment of failure when you lose, when there should not be in a somewhat fair environnement.
Remind me of that game today when I got 3 kill and one hatch escape, there was that one guy (not even the survivor) that was like, no joke: "EZ EZ EZ YOU LOSE". That's sad if you think about it
Matha, isn't it simple? He wants salt to increase his viewers because look at his videos, only these types of videos get him viewers. On top, he can preach and be righteous by telling someone they're overreacting on a video game. He preach all the time not to be like that in video game but the truth is, he is actively searching for these reactions just so he can get on a high horse and get viewers. But streamers like that won't last forever; sooner or later, people will get sick. People are clever and most often than not, they find out the intention. He is literally the only streamer I have seen who wants toxic audience. It's sad, really. And most of his videos is just that while he claim to do it for community. Such a sad sad person.
@@chandlerbing509 I wouldn't put it on the streamer but on the audience, content creators does what works, that's business. I doubt people are being more smart than not tho
@@LebonMatha Exactly. But content creators has to be honest. When they want salt because it works, why are they pretending to hate it when they get it?
The only times I’ve gotten really mad was when the collapse timer is going and I’m downed at the end of the exit and get picked up before I escape. Those nail biting moments and I still don’t make it infuriates me, but I don’t blame the killer for it.
i really do hate the, “it’s just a video game” argument; you can’t tell people how to react to things. what’s “not that serious” to you may mean the world to them, video game or not lmao
That's like telling sports fan bro y u mad it's just a game lol
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
It is what it is, you know what you are in for when you open up the game.
@@Flametasticeedits literally lol people think just cause it’s a video game and not reality it shouldn’t be taken as serious. super weird stigma
@@aleksm5785 right lmao
