I always find it hilarious how the killer is supposed to go chill on survivors.. but when do survivors ever do that for killer? It's like complaining about body blocking off hook on PTB. If people aren't prepared to be tunneled they shouldn't body block so aggressively off hook.
In August/September 2016, I came across a DBD streamer who liked the game a lot and was pretty good in it. But if he saw that killer was camping or tunnelling, he said every time that they shouldn't do it. He rarely played as a killer himself, and when he did it was very obvious how much he didn't like it and how much he didn't want to kill anybody.
Eventually, he started to hate the game after 2-3 years of playing and everything he says about it sounds like "oh my god, this game is so bad, such a bad game, everything in it is wrong and bad". No real arguments. Same with his viewers.
Apparently, he prefers games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, considering him having over 700 1-hour-long videos of him playing these two on his RUclips channel.
Who says the survivor who is complaining about tunneling isn't playing chill?

Can you please explain what your definition of survivors "playing chill" is? Cause very often I don't Gen Rush. And if killers had a bad match, I very often offer myself up as their 1k.
And yet, regardless of my build or intentions I run accross killers that want easy 4k easy either by camping, tunneling or going out of their way to slug the entire team from the start.

If you don't understand my original comment, that's ok, but I don't reccommend jumping to conclusions.
All my original comment is, is making fun of survivors who bodyblock and then complain when the killer hits them and act as though it's the killer "tunelling" them and that they're toxic etc..
I in no way said or even implied that survivors shouldn't bodyblock, I have no idea where you got that from. Maybe you just misread my comment, it's ok, just move on.

"survivors should try too" they literally always do... not once have I EVER had a game where I was struggling and survivors "took it easy" on me because they wanted a chill game or whatever. Most survivors are sweating until they realize they're losing and then they throw a bitch fit and give up or try to throw.

I love when I go easy on survivors they send me messages like their skilled and I didn’t spare them but when they get a leg up they show zero mercy zero kindness and send you vile things after the game and killers are just supposed to take it on the chins

The traps on Hawkins are lowkey kinda broken. The doorways that have that dirt looking stuff the traps actually go through them! Completely invisible
Wasn't there a glitch where you could place a trap on the killer shack doorway and it will completely disappear but survivors will still get caught on it?

Happens every time I walk away from the locker then back in trying to bait head on, the duration and range of it is genuinely kinda crazy, scary perk to go against cause I don't understand how to play around it without getting stunned lmfao.

ggs! Games that go like that crack me up. My favorite was the time 3 of us found out the killer was a Bubba while we were on the bathroom gen on The Game. Easiest basement tree ever for him 😂. "I wonder who the killer is" .... two seconds later a Bubba just showed up in the doorway and welp.... we're f-ed. It was hilarious.

I guarantee there was a salty sable day 1 because as the other person stated…survivors are basically glorified skins. A salty player just chose a different skin basically.

Survivor is just a skin and doesn't come with a playstyle or mindset. In the PTB 90% of players were playing as Sable: all Feng Min Mains, all Aces, all Blendettes, everyone was Sable. Every toxic, every salty player out there also was a Sable. You honestly think that someone being genuinely shocked there was a salty player playing as a new character in the PTB deserves anything else than a sarcastic comment?

idk if this was the case but in my dbd game when its trapper i cant see any traps at all idk if your survivors had the same in the part of the video but its happend to me 3 times this week

The radius does kinda make it impossible on some loops to avoid without just leaving the loop u get hit anyways. Prob needs a reduction in size

The new killer makes me think of The Thing.
So glad the next major update is gonna include new anti-tunneling mechanics and DS is going to get a huge buff. (Always works after hooks and stuns for 5 seconds) .

@jukes9886 Agreed. As far as I know, that is something that is not planned currently, but I do hope they add it to the list they got planned for the huge anniversary overhaul.
Skull Merchant is supposedly finally going to get a rework to make her more enjoyable to play both as a killer, and against as a survivor.
You raised a good point. No wonder behavior never does major changes during ptb. The data is even more incomsistent than in live because nobody cares.
Also this has nothing to do with the fact that they do not balance anything before it has been in the game for atleast 2 years.

Head on is super messed up right now. Even if they are fully out of the locker and just started moving, when I go to swing it will still stun me. They made it super delayed or something. So I totally understand why it did that.

I remember the time i played as good old bill i believe saved my team alot did 3 out of 5 gens just was the MVP last second before the gates opened the others tried to hand me off to the ghost face we went against when i was on the hook i got to jump off and i frickin juked my fake teammates and the ghost face so hard and got out of the exit gate they just opened that was all the way across the map which the map was the saloon map so it was a real big pain as i left i saw my 3 other teammates with the ghost face looking defeated so long story short DONT MESS WITH BILL!!!!

I'm sorry but if you're unhooked and body block with your built in BT, It's honestly on you what happens next if the killer wants to go after you. Sure you may think it unfair, but you're using a risky strat, don't hate on the killer for using one of their own by going after you again.

hey spooks, idk how to dm on anything cause idk if you have anything to you without giving to much info on a toxic player.
I mean if you body block off of hook using your endurance you can expect to be chased again. This is coming from a survivor main. You are taking aggro when you do that. Sure there are nice killers who will still not go after you but when you do that you are inviting another chase so you can't blame it on tunneling or be upset about it if it happens. The killer is supposed to kill so if you do that then of course the killer would be smart to go after the person that was just unhooked and injured and had a hook state on them. There is no rule that says you need to have this honor code between survivor who was just hooked and killer. The whole point of the endurance is so you can be unhooked, have an extra hit just in case, and run away. At least Sunny understood. Also some maps I do have trouble seeing trapper's traps. It can blend it with the dirt and debris especially on Hawkins. So sometimes I can't see them either and I can be staring at the floor looking as hard as possible LOL

OMG i used to rant about this in League Of Legends PTB environment. Like we are there to find bugs, figure out and show if things are broken or too weak right? Sadly most people either just wanted free wins where no one tried OR they were youtuber/streamers that just wanted to abuse the shit out of broken things but encourage people to not say anything so they could make more videos on live servers. Shit was cancer.

Tunneling can be annoying ( toxic if its done from right at the beginning) i see tunneling the same way i see genrushing , both are not toxic but if you do 1 or the other then dont cry when the other happens ,it seems like its way too many times a killer will tunnel then cry about genrushing and vice versa for survivors

Reminds me of the other day on my first game as the new killer i got called toxic for camping a hook and slugging (despite the entire team being in the immediate vicinity of the hook). People who play this game are absolutely wild.
I find it funny how in every single video game ever people expect the other team to not want to win and not try. I swear to god no matter what role people play, they just want a free win. Killers and survivors both. If a survivor plays as hardcore as he can and beats the killer, the killer gets mad. If the killer uses all the tools that his or her advantage to win the match, including camping or tunneling, the survivors get mad.

Hey SpooknJukes could you make another video using my content when you have my permission to do so of me encountering cheaters as laying myers in low MMR in killer side and it was my first match as killer in months. I ran into some blatant cheaters who did not care whatsoever about showing themselves cheat.
I personally dont like tunnelling but also what you didnt wasnt tunneling. You tried for the one that got the unhook and got bodyblocked. You should reward their stupidity to commit to the bit on that body block by not hitting them. Alot of survivors think to play fair means to reward their stupid choices in game when its not if they mess up they mess up.

If people cared about actually making the game fun for everyone instead of being entitled and telling others to f off when they get mad then people wouldn't complain as much.

Had the same thing happen to me but I swear a majority of survivors complain and cry to the devs when they get beat and even when they win, they complain there's no compromise with them. So, in saying that cry more it's hilarious to watch y'all embarrass yourselves.

The PTB should be about testing stuff and having a good game, if you sweat or feel the need to sweat on the PTB it is kinda sad. If you cant learn to enjoy the game and chill with people once in awhile then your no better then the people you make vids on. IMO
That being said the girl who called you out for tunneling deserved it for wanting your attention instead of going to heal or just taking one hit and running.

The ptb is not, for the most part, to 'test shit' - it's just a hype vehicle at this point, rather than an actual testing ground. Sure, they're checking the bug reports that they wouldn't get except with a large scale test, but they're not checking player reactions and feedback and that seems to be what most people mean when they say that. BHVR's still stuck on the "consolidated data" train rather than transparent, honest, and/or foundational community engagement and responses.
The PTB is 100% for testing how balanced/functioning all the new stuff is
That's a half truth, but he's not wrong, alot of times ptb is for marketing killers, then during the release day they nerf them to the ground, or wait 2 weeks for ppl to buy sht then nerf the killer after.

@@spooknjukes9886 I mean, you can believe that, but from what inside minds have said most "ptb changes" are already on the pipeline before the ptb even releases. More than anything, on the technical side, the ptb is used to confirm ideas the devs were already aware of and working on. The real function of that time is to keep a content train going of hype and engagement, a major factor in why DBD's stayed strong despite being a lesser game in many respects than other asyms.
