- It’s a fun thrifting day at BJONESSTYLEtv. First, Beth head to a Savers thrift store and chats about how using the the winter trends as inspirations she is ready to tackle the thrift store and look for all the winter trends that she is loving. Then, she heads into Savers which is a huge thrift store and takes her time searching through all the racks of clothings - looking for vintage thrift finds that excite her. Next it's time to try-on all the thrift finds that she has loaded into her cart and lets you know her thoughts on each item. Come thrifting with Beth!

Yep! As soon as I saw it I was like that’s a hunting vest. Shotgun shells go in the front and ducks in the back.

The vest is for hunting, the narrow pockets are for bullets, I'm pretty sure the big back pouch is for your game haha. I love the fitted look of it! Pairs well with the orange turtleneck :D
ya, in fact it's probably for hunting pheasants or other birds, and the perpendicular pockets on the top front are for shotgun shells
Agreed! So though not exactly western wear, it is for sure "outdoorsy" wear, that we wear in the west! A South Dakota fan.
Definately a shooting waistcoat - the small pockets would have your shotgun cartridges in them like a bandolier - in the UK we'd call the pocket at the back your poachers pocket (you'd put your dead game in there lol).

Snoods are Scarlett O'Hara-style hairnets. Big revival on those in the 1940s. That fur piece is a cowl.

Great haul! That belt over the light trench would be amazing. About 4 years ago, I thrifted an 8-pocket utility vest that was originally designed for foresters. I love that thing and always get compliments!

Oooooh the skirt that you felt was too seasonal...PERFECTION
For the animal print hat, I feel like it would be super fun with a early 90’s hip hop vibe, a la TLC. Bright baggy sporty cargo pants, oversized jersey, high tops and the fuzzy beret. You can definitely pull this off.

Nice shopping trip. Love the trench coat with the button on the back. Both trousers looked great on you. We have a savers in newington NH but it seems like your selection is better in Ca. My area is very affluent. Love your videos! ❤️
The fur piece is not a snood; it is a muff. A snood is an ornamental hairnet or fabric bag worn over the hair at the back of a woman's head. A muff is a fashion accessory for outdoors usually made of a cylinder of fur or fabric with both ends open for keeping the hands warm. OMGOSH i was holding my breath the entire video with fear that you weren’t going to get the denim fringe jacket😮. It’s right up your western alley! Such a great haul. I had those double zipper pants in the 70s and those looked so cute on you. Interesting how you pulled the weightlifting belt and the hunting vest on the same haul.

It's hard to choose just a few items when EVERY SINGLE PIECE looks AMAZING on you. ♥ The mustardy colored vest is a hunting vest! You put shotgun shells in the front little pockets and the game you shoot or snare in the large back pocket. I have a similar one that I wear as fashion. Love it. Love the snood too.

That is a hunting vest, the pocket in the back is where small game is stored while wearing. I loved the wide leather belt, cream trench and leather pants. Can’t wait to see you style the pieces. The El Palacio de Hierro brand sweater it's a high class store in Mexico City long ago but I'm not sure if still open the store or perhaps could be!!! Great pieces!!!😍🤩

I just come to the conclusion that California got it going on when it comes to good thrifting because between you and @JillianFelice you guys find some very excellent items at your locations. I have a few snoods for outerwear accessories, they are so perfect because it get really cold here and you don't always want a hat on your head. The tan vest is for hunters and the tiny multiple circles pockets are for the rifle bullet shell casings, it going to look real cool with a tube of lipstick in one of them and belted. Teehee! So was what you said that you were taking home while at Savers what you actually took home or did you wittle it down some more? Because I did not see the leather vest or the OSU sweater (to name a few) once you showed everything again at home. Can't wait to see you style them here or on your IG account. I've always wanted a rolling clothes hanger to hang all my finds on when I'm in thrift stores. It gets so messy and unmanageable when everything is in a pile in a shopping cart.
Wonder why no store owner thought of that before? One of these should also be cheaper to buy than buying all these shopping carts 🤔

The mustard colored vest is for hunting...with a shotgun. And those charming details in the front are for holding shot gun shells. Sooooo.
The broad leather belt is a weight lifting belt-so they don’t bust a gusset when powerlifting heavy weights.
Some thrift stores no longer sell stuffed animals because they were often full of bed bugs.
Call me crazy but I think the OSU stands for the brand as you showed on the label- One Step Up lol
