Once I was watching CC play and Corpsegrinder pointed and locked eyes with me when introducing I Will Kill You. I thought I was going to die that night, and I was okay with it.

Erik puts the show on, rejuvenating why I got into death metal.. almost 2 decades ago.
Hope to meet this lineup one day soon.
Pat always seemed the odd man out. Super sick playing to be sure. But when you see behind the scene shit, all the guys seem to be having fun and not so much Pat.
You can tell from the new album that he was a great addition to it, he really brought the heavy grooving from Morbid Angel with him
Agreed, Erik has some good energy, not saying Pat didn't, but Erik was the right one to replace him. Can't wait to see these guys in a few months.

Corpse Grinder is the absolute best death metal vocalist ever. Chris Barns is a very close second and Eric Rutan is a very close third in my opinion and the have now all been in the same band. Eric Rutan is supremely underrated for the Hate Eternal work, also his contribution to Morbid Angel is quite outstanding.
I saw Erik for the first time during Morbid Angel's Covenant tour, perfect fit I thought
