    Hello from Tampa Bay in Florida. Being from the South, we only call it Stuffing if you cook it in the Bird. When it is cooked outside of the Bird, like your delicious recipe, we would call that Dressing, as in side dressing. That being said, can I use this recipe to stuff inside of the Bird when I cook it? (Btw, thanks for all the tastiness all these years!)

      We do the same even from the North.

    I tried this. It didn’t turn out so well. The bread itself was lovely and have made the bread a couple of times. But the stuffing wasn’t moist enough and the flavor wasn’t quite there for me. I’ll have to try again and tweak the seasoning and add turkey drippings for the broth.

    I made this, and it was so delicious. Stuffing is back on the menu. I used Base Culture bread. At the time, they had the cheese bread, which they stopped making😢.

    😂 I loved the intro! And I also loved the IP cheesy bread, it sounds lovely for this recipe. Now I need to add it to my list to make and do the stuffing dance too, lol 🤣. Thanks, for sharing 😘

    Thank you for such a simple and delicious cheesy bread recipe. I made the substitutions for the flax and almond milk, and the bread turned out great. It is so tender and moist and no doubt perfect for stuffing. But I’ll need another one for that. This first one is just for eating, and I’m so tempted to make a pot of chili to go with it. I wanted to know if any kind of cheese can be used.

      Easy to double everything. Then see if you can get a big glass or ceramic dish that holds several quarts (at least 3). You could also bake in two separate dishes.

    Thanks; was looking for stuffing recipes. Two questions about the bread: can buttermilk be used instead of almond milk and can chia meal be used instead of flax? I'm trying to use what I have available and want to make the bread right away. Thanks.

    • @AllDayIDreamAboutFood
      @AllDayIDreamAboutFood  Год назад +1

      Yes to the buttermilk. No to the chia... it has a different consistency and absorbs moisture differently. Just replace the flax with more almond flour.
