Maam, could you please verify whether virtual graduation or events belongs to public speaking? I think virtual events takes place with the use of television, internet or other types of media. should it not be considered an example of mass communicaton?
virtual could be public and mass communication. It's a new concept. In my own analysis, why I consider it as more of public than mass comm is because of how virtual graduation is being prepared. It is still limited. Most schools have their own links which is not for all. Just lately, that virtual graduation has changed the way it is being broadcast. Anyway, it is a context-based situation.
What is even the difference between a sentence, a speech, an answer and how the structure of it shall look like? Is it any doubt in someones skills a or education level? Obviously yes.

Intra within ( self) intrapersonal , inter- outside others. Thats the context in communication. Intrapersonal- talking to oneself, interpersonal-talking to other peoople
that may be possible in new normal. Thats my interpretation. Although it is not in the book. Graduation is generally public but it is just done virtually. While we may possibly consider it as mass cos it is online but I think it is more of public.Even if it is done online, the no. of people is still limited compared to mass.
