Awesome lines, tasty licks and great tone. I definitely hear some Danny Gatton inspiration.
Always evolving and out on a limb that doesn’t snap. I just listened to a Joe Pass track and the similarity is amazing for a “non” jazz player. Awesome
Guthrie has become one of my favorite players because he’s evolving as a musician/guitarist. His playing is tasty, never stale. Single note playing and double stops are sweet. Would love to hear him play lead using solely chord voicings somewhere in that tune.
It's almost like he knows exactly what he did, what he's doin, and what he's gonna do all at the same time even though he's undoubtedly just hangin onto the wheel trying to control the slide wondering what comes around the next corner. Smoke on the fretboard.... ain't no cigarette.

I didn’t realize that was the setting. Listen again I did not mean this to be negative. You are my inspiration I have been watching and learning everything I possibly can from your videos. You are the only artist that I listen to that is original. I would buy any album or music you put out!
