I'm a radio host in Dallas and I played your band on air. The amount of request I've had since has been insane. A great song can be something beautiful.
@christophervincent8420 every Friday night 8pm to 10pm on KNONNOW. I host Modern Blues Sounds, but I do my best to add variety, my personality, and hopefully introduce new artists to a new audience.
Big thanks for taking us on your journey Chris. Congrats to you & the band on your first headline shows. You all deserve after the visa process. Looking forward to some content from LA
Beautiful soloing, fantastic tension and releas, real emotion right there, a masterclass in how to do it right. Come to Oz, do Bluesfest, I'll come just to see you guys.
Upwards and onwards, Chris & CB!! Enjoy your time there, and make the absolute most of it 😎👍 I'm definitely looking forward to album no2 (not counting the EP - which is also excellent by the way 😜) and hopefully we'll catch you guys and girl again when you're playing in the Netherlands!!! 👍
The show in Nashville was simply incredible - Cardinal Black was even better than I hoped it would be. Easily the best concert I have attended in at least a decade.
You and the band had several 3.5 hour drives. If it adds anything, my girlfriend and I drove - you guessed it - 3.5 hours to the Troubadour show last night (and back). It's a big place, this thing we call the US. Loved the show, band killed it. We were just off your right shoulder a couple people back from the stage. Hope your rise continues and we'll see you the next time around.
@@alexo5861 good call! Traffic is a b*tch in LA. Actually, we're in Paso Robles, which is 3.5 hours without traffic. Our journey down actually took 7 hours between traffic and two other stops, and almost 4 hours to get back home as we hit traffic going up 5 through the grapevine. This, at 11pm at night....
You lit up LA like the brilliant Buck moon, Chris! So glad that i flew 8150 miles to experience Cardinall Black! Tom Hollister had an amazing soulful voice. Ripped my heart wide open and mended my soul! America needed this immense inspiration, vibe & feel. Congrats on all your well deserved success! Thank you for the magic of your music! Can't wait for a world tour & your return to the US. Happy & safe travels.
Here's a cool story for ya, I flew to nashville on my own to go to the show, have a friend who lives there so I spent the weekend in the city waiting for monday. My entire life I've been looking for the right ES-355. I've played hundreds of them and never found one that I had to have or one that wasn't $10,000. Well I went to Carter Vintage where you guys did the acoustic session and finally found the correct ES. and it might be one of the red ones behind you. I can't tell. Either way. I finally have my bucketlist guitar, and my friend and I loved the show Monday, he had never heard of you guys but he was blown away and is now a fan. Hope to catch you guys in the states again somewhere.
Congrats on your USA tour successes! You totally deserve it with all the hard work you’ve put it. 👏 Oh, and I’m glad you’re sticking with the long pants on stage. Leave the shorts to the reggae bands. 😉
I am so happy for you! After following you for a number of years on RUclips I was convinced that you would, one day, hit the big time. Success in Nashville looks like a huge step in the right direction. I wish you all the best for the rest of the tour. You deserve all the praise and credit that you and the band are sure to get.
I am just so pleased for Cardinal Black! The cheers for Chris’s playing bought tears to my eyes too! He is a player I really admire. I hope they get the chance to tour more in the US. This band deserves to be massive! 👊🏻🖤🖤🖤
Delighted for your continuing rise Chris. It doesn’t surprise me that our cousins across The Pond have welcomed you with open arms as they too know the real deal when they see it. You and the band totally deserve it.
So wonderful to see y'all having such a blast here in the states. Congratulations on so many sold out shows and clearly satisfied customers! Y'all are killing it, and that's just great to see because you've obviously been working your tails off and audiences can hear that sort of thing and respond accordingly. Cheers!
We loved this show so much! Thanks for coming to the US and please come back soon. I enjoyed watching from the front row. I figure the next time you come the venues will be larger, so I'll have to watch from a greater distance. But I promise you, I'll be there!
You're really an octopus, Mr. Buck. Juggling so many things (4 concerts, interviews, creating content for the socials, etc.) and still able to provide an episode of Friday Fretworks. Thank you for uploading and sharing your journey. CB has gone through the eye of the needle to get to the U.S. Due to CB's tenacity and support from people who believe in you, the goal came to fruition. I'm very happy for you all and wish CB nothing but the best 😁✨
The Nashville show was so incredible. Traveled from Colorado with so much anticipation. A night I will never forget. Looking forward to seeing you at Red Rocks next year!? Fingers crossed!
Loved the show in Nashville!! Drove 6 hours and consider it totally worth it. A tight, professional set from a well rooted, creative, talented lineup. There are no weak links in Cardinal Black or the supporting talent. Next US tour will be bigger. We were all excited about your online presence. Promoters and industry folks now know how good you really are. You are headed for the next level. Can’t wait for the new album!

Congratulations Chris and Cardinal Black. Looking forward to you returning to the US and hopefully playing some Northeast US shows (Boston, NY, ...). Count on me to buy a ticket.
looks like Nashville was awesome. wish I could have made it down. but it's a nearly 13 hour drive (one way). Hoping some day you will be closer to southeastern PA.
It’s great you could see the country from an automobile because it gives you a little bit of a feel of how huge this country is even traveling at 70 miles an hour. It takes a long time from place to place.
Great Show in Nashville. We are all so pleased that you enjoyed it. Thank you for taking the time to edit and post this one. Apologies for the HEAT. Looking forward to your Troubadour review.
It was great to see the band in Omaha--that was a fantastic show!! You all are incredible! Oh, and glad to see y'all got to experience some Arthur Bryant's while you were here in KC! It's truly a staple.
Congrats on discovering burnt ends! You may now be on a quest to find them wherever you go :). And, of course, congrats on your first US tour. I love your playing and the band. When you return to the US, please keep Door County, Wisconsin in mind!
Chris you are putting in an incredible amount of work, between the ambitious tour itself, all the additional media appearances, and probably still editing these episodes yourself! (In a senior editor btw, if you ever need one) Good stuff all around! Y’all have earned it, no doubt. 👏👏👏
Incredible show in LA! My expectations were high and yet the show was even better than I could've hoped for, a fantastic performance and energy from the whole band on stage, beautiful stuff.
Congrats on making it over and fulfilling a long held ambition. Wish I was close enough to have seen 1 of the shows. Hopefully this is just the 1st trip of many future US dates.

The show in Nashville was simply incredible - Cardinal Black was even better than I hoped it would be.
Easily the best concert I have attended in at least a decade.
Omaha is a really nice area. I lived there from 2003-2007 until I couldn't take the brutally cold winters anymore and headed south to Florida.

I speak American English and have a little trouble understanding Chris at times, but when he speaks through his guitar, I understand perfectly.

Pete Thorn posted some video from your California show, with love.
Like other distinctive guitarists, you immediately know when you hear Chris play. His style is unmistakable.
Awesome show! Love that you used crowd video, cool that mine made the cut!
Congrats Chris. You guys deserve all the success that comes your way. Welcome to the USA!

MUCH better than Oasis. This lad can REALLY play a guitar for starters. AND a singer that can sing. Rest of the bang are right talented folks too.
10,000 hours paid off, Chris. Congrats!
Admirable of Mr.H to wear a Tom Jenkins T-Shirt. Fantastic talent and a lovely geezer to boot.
