FINALLY a video that had all that I was looking for. 1. I realize now that I have extra thick line.... (but lots of it, so I'll use it & it works) 2. I wind the line tight which is not advised, and that's probably why it gets stuck inside!? 3. THIS is the part I wanted to know - how to neatly feed the two lines into the two holes, I struggle with that, but you made it look super simple. I shall try feeding it in & then slipping the line off those grooves that hold them in place on the spool - Hope it's as simple & as sweet as you made it look. THANKS!!

Thank you for your excellent instructional video. I checked it out yesterday knowing that I had planned on a whole lot of trimming around my house: along driveway, sidewalk, landscaping borders, etc. I had to restring the spool three times! The second time was required because one string had somehow gotten jammed up in the spinning mechanism. It didn't faze me at all because I had proceeded as shown in your video and it went well every time. The only thing I would add would be to advise people to restring the top spool first because when you're done with it, you have to secure it in one of the provided notches. If you start with the bottom spool, you'd wind up securing it in a notch that will make the string cut across the top spool thus hampering its restringing. Again, thanks for the very useful video.

Your explanation was very good. Thank you! I have thought for awhile now that my unit was not working. I did not know about the extension button. I have been basically installing it fine but literally would take off the spool and pull out line to extend it. I have a small area to do so that made that task bearable but tomorrow I will test this out and don't see why it wouldn't work just fine now as the extension button works.

Well I am very happy this helped. It would drive me crazy if that button was not there. The thin line tends to break off on mine when I trim around the pool where the rocks and edging is sharp. Hope that makes it much easier for you.
