Hi psych to go I just wanted to say, I reached out for help about my mental health and I got hospitalized many of you would think that’s bad but for me it was good. I had a break and I got to speak with psychiatrists and psychologists. You encouraged me to ask for help, so thanks for that
I'm so proud of you. It takes a whole lot of strength to get help and it's amazing you did. I may not know you on a personal level but never the less I'm happy for you. Good job 👍🏼
I thought maybe its a trauma response lol. I wouldn't say I am a physical empath but I CANNOT watch someone go through an embarrassing situation or a situation I know is going to end bad I feel so bad its like I'm going through it myself. Even if I know its acting.
@@shirleytatha8189 idk but i feel like everyone _feels_ the embarrassement of a situation?? Maybe? I litterally have difficulty watching someone in a embarassing situation in movies or series.. and I’m not a physical empath… though, idk
@@shirleytatha8189 I THOUGHT THIS WAS ONLY ME! I always have to cover my ears and close my eyes whenever a scene that could be REMOTELY embarrassing or awkward begins! Like, for example, if a person is singing in a public place in a movie, I'll be instantly thinking about the other people around said person and how they might thing the singer is weird lol
1. Emotional Empath - feel other people's emotions 2. Physical Empath - feel and pick up on other people's physical conditions 3. Intuitive Empath (more rare) - reading and sensing another person's energy. Focuses on the reasons for those emotions 4. Dream Empath - (lesser known and most rare) receive intuitive feelings through dreams. Also capable of lucid dreaming 5. Plant Empath - feels deeply connected with plants and mother nature 6. Animal Empath - feel a strong sense and connection with animals
@@TrekSycho but what happen the heyoka empath. does it fall under the title of healer or dreamer or is heyoka a combo of all they deal with animal care and care of nature and the planet hearth. heyoka is from the Lakota dakota Sioux indian shamas sigmas with doctors medicine men. please note in this face men are not just of the male gender but includes the female gender because it takes a male and a female to procreate when all the conditions are near perfect. female has male in it. like woman has man in it. mankind includes both men and women and male and female. 0:10
i’m an intuitive empath, i can look at someone and immediately can tell if they have a good soul and energy, and if it’s not good i will distance myself, but i can read ppl like a book and ik ppls true energy
My Empath order: 1- Intuitive 2- Emotional 3- Dream 4- Plant and Animal 5- Physical (Plant and Animal are together just bcs i feel i have them at the same lvl)
Interesting. Was it always like that or did it change at some point of time? For me it's: 1. Physical 2. Intuitive 3. Emotional 4. Plant 5. Animal I do not relate to being dream empath.
being an animal empath is actually hard to stand. i can't get over the fact that my dog went missing over 10 years ago and anytime something bad happens to an animal, especially a dog, i have a breakdown
Dude literally, that’s half the reason I went vegan. I see cows in constant psychological torture and I just CANT with it lmao, same for all animals. I’ll go on tangents about life enrichment for pets bc I just. Understand. How those toys/spots/towers make them feel. Drives me INSANE when I see someone only gives their pet shitty Iams kibble and has like 2 toys in their house.
I am an emotional, intuitive, physical, plant, and animal empath.. That is cool. Empaths are so internally beautiful and kind. My connection to animals, nature, and others is so intense, I often feel depression and exhaustion over the intensities of taking on the energy around others. Thanks for the video psych2go, very enchanting to learn about myself better, and feel more in tune with my inner world. ❤❤
I think I'm an intuitive empath, and my mother agrees. She told me that when I was younger, out of the blue, I would just make her some water when she was thirsty. She didn't ask or anything, I just did it.
“When someone goes all out for you, be sure to value that energy and effort to the best of your ability. Never take it for granted because we often lose what and who we don’t appreciate.”
When I was seven I remember staring at a caterpillar's eyes for half an hour, only for someone to come out of nowhere and step on it. I truly felt like I had connected with the caterpillar. I was depressed for a week😭. I thought I was just an emotional empath, but now seems I'm also a *physical empath* , an *intuitive empath* , an *animal empath* , and a little *dream empath* too. Cool🙃
I remember I was in 2nd grade I had a fight for defending a Dragonfly from being tied and hung in a blowing electric fan. That was a tough fight because I'm smaller
I'm definitely an intuitive, dream, and animal empath. Sometimes I will walk into a room and just know someone is going through something even if they don't show physical signs. I definitely pick up on the energy. I also have extremely vivid dreams and can remember the smallest of details. I've had dreams with family I haven't seen in years, and then the next day I run into them as I'm entering and they are leaving the grocery store. The craziest thing was that I went to three groceries stores that day (because I needed my favorite corn tortillas), and it was the last store I went to where we crossed paths. Normally I don't go to three different stores, but I feel like my dreams were trying to tell me something traumatic might be going on in her life. I had a deep feeling of what it might be as well. I've also had dreams where I've connected to family members' feelings or even their dreams. This one time I was experiencing sleep paralysis, and while I was dreaming I had a strong feeling/knowing that my sister was with me. When I woke up and talked to my mom I explained the dream, only to find out later that my sister had a similar dream that same night. Also, I have a bunny and a dog and I feel like I can sense what they are feeling and needing, or even the exact location they want to be petted/scratched. One time I also went to a farm and became BFFs with this goat named peaches and she followed me and stuck her head out the fence when I left. Long post but I like reading peoples stories so maybe someone will enjoy this and relate :)
That's really interesting! I've definitely had some really strange dreams before as well, although I usually thought that a lot more people got those dreams than those who actually did. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes interpreting the true meaning behind dreams!
Hey hey! Here are the six different types of empath! 1. Emotional Empath (0:48) 2. Physical Empath (1:19) 3. Intuitive Empath (2:00) 4. Dream Empath (2:44) 5. Plant Empath (3:16) 6. Animal Empath (3:45) If you want to learn more about the different kinds, feel free to check them out by watching the video! Thanks for watching Physc2go! c:
hi! sorry, i had commented this at the same time as you, and i just realized while scrolling down that our comments are pretty much the same! i can take my comment down if you want :)) have a nice day!
It's crazy that I actually have signs of multiple different kinds of empathy: emotional, intuitive, and animals. Now I wanna go learn even more! Thanks
@@anon6187 You can be all of them. To picture this, some Empaths can feel like they are Intuitive and Emotional Empaths. Even though they can also relate to the other types, they can feel like these two define them more. It's just one example among more examples. It's normal, don't worry. I actually wonder what the word "normal" means, but I get what you mean here. So, I would rather say that it's not something bad to have. Of course, it's hard to deal with this sometimes because of the overwhelming feeling you get from experiencing things on a deeper level, but being an Empath is still a true quality, whether you relate to one type only or more.
Intuitive empath here. Also working as a drama teacher, which comes in quite handy in teaching children how to read complex emotions in the body language. In my personal life it is quite frustrating as i tend to know about other peoples feelings before they catch onto them themselves. Sometimes other peoples emotional auras are so strong that i have troubles discerning if my feelings are my own or not.
Same I've had issues wondering My feelings are my own or somebody else's like I've gotten into romantic relationships thinkingto me and wasn't really attracted to them. It's this really wierd thing so now when I think I have Intrest in anyone I take things very very slow
I bet many people think you are nosey. I often avoid eye contact because I just got too much information, that in many cases the other person don't want me to know about them. It's wonderful to see a job were you are exceptional because you are a intuitive empath. Congrats
you were the kinda person Id most often try to become pets with. I often was teachers pet especially with empathic teachers. Even had an empathic teacher teach me how to relax as a man.
7. Dark Empath: The most dangerous of personality types. They score high in both dark triad traits and empathy. They possess Cognitive Empathy (The ability to understand ones thoughts and feelings) but they do not have Affective Empathy (The ability to feel what the other individual feels).
How does a emotional empath effect you’re health, I’m a emotional empath and whenever someone has stress or sadness I feel it. And it doesn’t feel good
I didn’t even know that their other types of empaths. After looking at them all and based off of my experience and daily routine, I’m definitely considered more of being an intuitive empath.
Yes, we were not aware that there were so many types too until we dug deeper. Glad you found out what you relate to. PS: I see that you have a badge on your username. Thank you for your support CJB! :)
My grandma was definitely a plant empath, her yard was so beautiful and she. Loved being outside and gardening. I’m more of an animal empath then anything. My animals are my everything. :)
Yeah. I like being around people here and there, but only for so long before I need to be alone again. It's especially hard around large groups of people. The sensory overload is overwhelming, and often times people don't understand that I need more time to myself than some others. One thing I found that helps though is wearing headphones/earbuds and listening to my favorite music. :) It makes it to where I can be around others, but instead of being overwhelmed by the commotion I'm focused on the music and it calms me down. It makes it easier for me to think my *own* thoughts. I don't exactly know your experience, but I hope things become easier for you.
I think I’m an intuitive empath, and possibly the first one too. When I look at people I immediately just grasp the kind of person they are, based on how they feel emotionally to me.
@Yuzan During my teen years up to the present. There are times when I feel something off with certain people. Without proof, and without them showing or doing anything weird or bad. Then down the line something happens that their true colors leak: mostly fake, calculating, and manipulative in nature. I doubted it many times. Cause I just can't believe these "baseless" feelings. But it has never failed, not even once.
@@njmontano1625 I asked the question because I'm also an intuitive empath. And I can relate completely to your experience. My problem is that I'm always afraid of misjudging people and being unfair at that. Just because I feel this bad energy from someone, should I trust that instinct or could it be wrong? I also feel like the more I think like this, the less sensitive I become to that instinct, and I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. I just don't want to be unfair to people. I was wondering how other intuitive empaths deal with this.
@@njmontano1625 that's what i do too as an intuitive empath, but i sometimes rely on it too much and have no regard for other details of a person. i probably should take some account about more physically sensory things about a person lol

I’m a nurse and I’ve always been able to recognize when my patients are experiencing pain or anxiety or when they aren’t telling me the whole story and are afraid to speak up. Furthermore, I’m in grad school pursuing my psychiatric Nurse Practitioner because I have an ability to understand the reasons (often beliefs/perceptions) behind their emotions/ behaviors. Regardless of your empathic gifts, there are practical ways to use them.
And as odd as it seems, they are all connected. Everything is connected and with a bit of practice, you might find other types of empathy to be open to you to a lesser degree. I personally dont recommend it, but it can be quite interesting if you can utilize it. Just dnt overdo it, it will only bring you pain.
I'm definitely a mix of emotional empath and intuitive empath. Not only do others' emotions effect me sometimes but I also am great at reading people's energies and understanding/wanting to understand the reasons behind their emotions.
I’ve always felt a connection with animals, but nothing like my cat. I saw a picture of her on Pet finder and immediately thought “that’s my cat” I was going through a very hard time when I adopted her and when I saw her it was just an immediate connection. She is also very in tune with emotions. Even before I feel my depression getting worse, she’ll follow me around until I sit so she can comfort me. I don’t know how to explain it but we know each other, like a deep understanding
I guess I'm an intuitive empath. I can read people quite well and I can understand their motives most of the time. It's like I get a certain vibe from them I can't explain. I'm also a huge animal lover and I'm having an emotional breakdown even by the thought of an animal suffering😢
I'm definitely an emotional empath… heck, I can even read a fictional short story and feel the main character's feelings! I also sometimes find myself being able to feel the vibes of people I encounter, so that's pretty neat, too. Pretty useful!
There was a time my aunts dog died (we all lived together then) and I was the only one who didn't cry, I was completely numb and the second I hugged my aunt (who was bursting with tears) to comfort her I was overwhelmed with sadness for her. But I'm a mix of all these empaths mainly dream, animal, and plant
I'd say useful too if it wasn't so painful when people argue around me I can't even breath properly because of how oppresive they verbal violence is and that's with small arguments. I've also experienced this when entering a few people's houses, like something is very, VERY wrong and I've had to supress the urge to flee or else I'd look crazy.
@@ScaraBrush - Yup, can literally feel the tension in the air! I feel the same way around little crying kids whose parents are blatantly ignoring them and shopping for hours in Walmart…. 🤯
I’m guessing Physical Empathy is like when a guy is kicked in the balls and every guy within a certain vicinity feels it. Sorry if this comment was vulgar.
I would like to think I am an Atmospheric empath. I always love to look at the sky and I always feel charged during a windy day. One time, as the sky was clear on a windy day, I felt a specific gust of wind that gave me the most ominous sensation. I had absolutely no idea of the weather that was reported that day, but I along with my (who is now) wife had fled Ringgold, GA during a family visit and encouraged others to flee as well (with very little evidence as to why I was so concerned)... ...little to my knowledge, that was the day of the Ringgold, GA tornado
Never thought I’d be referring myself to an intuitive empath or at least to have these intuitions and feelings finally explained. Thank you, I love your videos!
I’m probably intuitive. Don’t worry I use my gift wisely to better and help others. I may also pick specific individuals due to my fore sight of what they will do if I put them in a scenario. Pretty cool power but I don’t really use it. I stay in my man cave and only come out on rare occasions. Choose your friends wisely as you will become them over time. That’s why I try to be alone so I don’t lose myself.
I think I'm one as well! I often have a pretty good idea about why people feel and act the way they do and many people ask me for advice because I realize more easily what an issue is really about. I don't know if that's 'enough' for calling myself an empath...
I’m definitely an intuitive empath. I always think instead of the word “empathy” I use the word “energy” it helps me better feel the situation of the topic. I don’t really focus on empathy, it’s mainly that I won’t even think about the situation and will start feeling the emotions right away and later on. I never seem to care about or focus on the meaning behind the topic, it’s more like “your wasting my time with that. focus on right now.” I didn’t even know that was a type of empath, I feel rather happier :D
I just had a breakdown because I saw my mother cry. And I cand stop feeling overwhelmed with emotions. I just want to see everyone I love and even strangers happy. It physically takes a toll on me to see people distressed
I’m an animal empath, I feel such deep bonds with my pets an other animals. It hard for me to make friends irl so I become friend with furry friends around me. I feel more comfortable around animal more than people.
I just want to say I have depression, anxiety and i admit to be suicidal but just listening to videos like these and her calming yet understanding voice makes me feel better. This reminded me of how much it makes me happy to be kind and open to helping people all the time. It sucks that I struggle to help myself out of depression but i know caring and making people feel happy does.
For the empath who read this. Learn how to shield yourself. Grounding your energy will help. (practicing yoga helps.) Regular energy cleans. Learning to feel with out taking on or reacting to the emotion. Be aware the another person's emotions can effect your which is why say learn to shield yourself. Meditation and alone time will also help. The energy shifts have gotten stronger this is going to increase your ability.
The senses get even more prevalent when you are aware of it. Without self-control it can get overwhelming, especially if you fall into many categories. You use self-awareness to keep the thoughts and senses in check, making sure that you don't get overwhelmed and forgetting about yourself.
This is soo true just last month i have anxiety due to all the negative feeling i sense around me and they cant understand why im like that, they say im just overthinking when even i dont see them whether people, animal or plants i can feel them when they are near and having these strong desire or in need of help. In order for me to recharge i had a vacation near the nature and it helps but im back again here in the city where our place is quite have lots of people nearby and i can sense them 😔

This is interesting because when I was much younger (pre teen) I could sense/see people's auras like an Intuitive. I could feel their intent towards myself and my mum (to harm, or to help) and would voice this information, which revealed itself to be true down the line. The interesting bit is that I grew out of the Intuition as I went through my teen years, and transitioned into an emotional empath. Anyone else heard of a person changing from one to another type of Empath? I've no doubt some of these types overlap
I suppose that as you grew and developed, your empathy became more natural than thought-based, so now you feel things automatically rather than trying to subconsciously understand them.
As a teen I had a dream my mom was diagnosed with a specific cancer… it was kinda unsettling but she laughed it off… several years later she was actually diagnosed with that cancer and eventually died. Dream empath? Perhaps, but now I only identify with emotional, intuitive and animal…. Did things change? Or do we use the ability needed in the moment? 🤔
Dear PsychToGo-- Thank you for showing me that my habit of turning to my subconscious to better read the outer world is not some freak defect on my brain's part. I've heard so many people say that we arn't able to do such as humans, and it bugs me, as i live by that mode of operation. I've always thought i was an emotional empath, with some weird off-shoot defects thrown in. This video taught me im actually a solid intuitive empath! It makes so much sense now. Thank you for making me feel as though i truely belong ❤
Being an emotional empath, I can say that you can never be happy or sad alone. Your surroundings will decide what your mood will be. I do feel I tend to absorb lot of negative energies around me. I just want that each person in this world be happy with whom or wherever they are..🙂🌸
as another emotional empath, i can too confirm that, but we can be extremely happy when someone else is happy. for example: they get a high grade and emphasize their joy to you. you feel proud and so happy for them.
According to this, it's safe to say I'm an animal empath. I'm more comfortable around animals than I am with most people. I may not understand everything my cat tells me, but I love trying.
I love to understand the reason behind some action of other people rather than just blame / scold or adding tags on them. However, I wouldn't say that I'm the intuitive empath because I don't think I had reached that level. Anyways, that's the kind of person that I want to be in the future. They are very wise and I love the feeling that they give to other people.
Well! You’re on your way to becoming an intuitive empathetic person! An intuitive person empath looks more on causes of feeling and how! We are generally analytical yet feeling and we have mediators like myself!💖👑✨🌈🍬
I work at a grocery store whenever I sense that my customer may be difficult I try to be extra accommodating. I even narrate what I am going to to with each of their items so they have an open door to communicate without feeling judged. I always love to think of the reason why.
Well at first it was cool and okay but in a long term its stressful being affected by all of these if its a positive energy its ok but if youre surrounded by people who are having lots of worries, people who are sick but hides it, animals that suffers as well as plants its difficult that sometimes your losing what to take care first or ask if theres a break 😔
This taught me so much! After years of feeling bad for not being an emotional empath while still feeling like an empath, it’s so clarifying to know I’m an intuitive empath.
I feel like you can be more than 1 type of empath. I’m definitely emotional, intuitive, dream (lucid dreamer here!), and animal. But less of the physical or plant. This is great info! Thank you!

My friend was crying the other day after his dog got run over. I used my finely tuned empath skill set and was able to determine he was sad. So lucky to have this gift
I always thought I was an emotional empath, but that one didn't feel like quite the right label, now I know that I'm an intuitive empath, thanks for this!
I'm an emotional empath I believe, I've noticed where my dad seemed more withdrawn than usual, he's not much of a talker but I still felt that something was wrong. I asked him what was wrong and he said "I don't know" which felt like a partial lie. Then my stepmom told me about how he'd been acting towards her since her accident a few months ago, I came to the conclusion he's angry at her for it happening, though it wasn't her fault (she'd went roller skating with a friend and fell and broke her hip) I think my dad will feel better when she's all healed up, though part if me wishes he wouldn't get so angry at her for it happening 😕
When I’ve been having dreams about events that have been ACTUALLY happening in my life and to people in my life. Definitely a dream empath and when I heard you describe it I definitely got tears in my eyes.
We may not have enough courage to display it. The great gift of human beings is that we have the power of empathy. You can only understand people if you feel them in yourself. Anyone who has experienced a certain amount of loss in their life has empathy for those who have experienced loss
I think im an intuitive empath because I can sense that someone is happy just by the energy they give off or right when they come in the room I can tell if they are sad happy or mad
I can tell when my mom is angry, but it's because when she's upset or angry I get really really stressed cos she has bipolar and threatens to kill herself and give my sisters and I to someone else because she hates is and regrets having children. So yeah it's something I need to watch out for and I need to keep her happy
Grew up on a small farm in New England; I developed animal and plant empathetic skills at a young age. I've worked as a veterinary technician for the last 30 years, no surprise there; but mostly I'm so busy that I don't have time to connect with animals that need some help. Frustrating.
I run a small dairy farm with my folks and similarly developed strong animal empathy but not the plant side. I feel like I have some of the intuitive empathy traits as I focus on working with people too. Anyways I thought it was awesome to see a vet in the comments here. I’m also from New England area. Hope you have a great day!
I'm a emotional and intuitive empath. I'm not sure if its possible but I can feel people emotions at the same time, being able to search for the reasons behind it.
Definitely a physical empath. Just hearing someone describe an injury makes me ache as if I got hurt like that. It can make nightmares seem so much more real and painful.
I am a dream empath. I always thought that my dreams were just anxiety, but it turns out that they have all been accurate interpretations about how those that I care about are feeling. I imagine it is just my subconscious intuitive empathy becoming imagery through dreams..
I am an Intuitive Empath. I used to be a person who loved people, loved crowds always the more the merrier. I could feel happiness or tension in the room as soon as I entered. I could tell you who was the most uncomfortable in the room, the sad person, then felt my duty to help them. 40 years working with the same group of lab techs in a hospital setting, I was often blamed for the rooms atmosphere just by my feelings of the day. I felt responsible for making the day go happy and no quarrels. I was worn out at the end of the shift. As I age, I excuse myself from crowds, strangers and prefer smaller groups. It is not as exhausting. And i can try to control my empathy. I also often feel I get taken advantage of by family, friends & strangers because of my caring empathic traits.
I never realized that picking up vibes, reading into why someone might give these vibes, and playing off them made my specific type of empath. Intuitive Empath ❤️
I am all three of these, Emotional, Physical, Claircognizant. I have always been an emotional empath .. and 7 years ago I realized I was also a Physical empath..it's not really a happy gift to have but it helps when you are trying to heal someone. And just recently I noticed I am a Claircognizant empath. Because as crazy as this one sounds..it's a really fun and cool gift especially when you can feel someone who is spiritually close with you. You can connect with eschother..on multiple levels awake and asleep
That’s so interesting. I’ve always been considered gifted at predicted emotions and symptoms of others. People usually thought it just had something to with my autism or something (idk) but I usually can guess so well because of the hints in my dreams. I guess this makes me a dream empath. Coool
Especially when you’re in tune and grounded, you may notice one or more of these applies to you. For me personally I am all of the above, not just one category. And that’s okay! So if you’re seeing thing and trying to figure out which label to assign yourself! Don’t stress, just let it be! You are beautiful and divine, thank you for being you!❤️✨
From what I've experienced I would be emotional and intuitive. I know some people think this stuff isn't real. But its just like with anything else. If you are one you kind of feel crazy until you can put a name too it. It just helps identify what's happening and the tools you can use to deal with it. Especially in my personal with abuse. The only good thing I feel from being an empath is that it keeps me humble and it keeps me human.
3:53 LOOK! A BELGAIN MALINOIS! It’s crazy because I have a strong connection with dogs and me and my mom are SUPER close to getting a BELGAIN Malinois and it just blows my mind this video!
Oh dear! 'Got some of all of that! Especially plants and animals. I don't know how I know, but after a lifetime of being like this, I trust my intuition - but I still check to make sure I'm not just projecting. I'm not infallible, but if my help is needed, I do my best.
I feel like I lack empathy. I can't read other's emotions but I try to imagine their emotions when they tell me about their feelings but I just don't feel anything. When I think about it I feel like I'm missing something as a human. I always think I'll try to give more attention to others feelings next time I have any conversation but then I end up forgetting about it till the next time the thought comes up. I don't even feel sad if something bad happens or even if someone dies whom I didn't have any close connection with. I remember feeling nothing when my grandfather died everyone was crying and I wanted to cry too, I should cry but the feelings wont come out. It is only today that I know there is something called animal empaths. I always knew I really felt for animals I've always been surrounded with animals growing up and I love spendingmy time with them, it feels more peaceful and meaningfull . Thanks for the video I feel better.
If you experienced a traumatic event as a young child, or even if you were just born with shallow emotions, you may want to look into psychopathy. It's not what people think it is, it is a lack of a sense of self and so a hard time relating to others, and there are lots of wonderful therapists who can help you delve into understanding yourself and others as much as you are able to with time.
I've had enough empathy growing up too early to be just an emotional empath. I understand and can tell when someone is bothered, but I strive to resolve their stress and comfort them as best I can. Because if they're in a bad position, chances are I've been there too. Love you all♡♡♡
This is some angelic levels of amazing. I swear one day we will all evolve and either get magic related to our personalities or be so in tune with our personalities that any problem will be no more.
My mother is definitely a plant empath, and I find myself being every type except. I've always wrote in detail of my dreams, and I can still recall dreams I've had years ago. I've dreamt up movie plots & characters, as well as jokes
I don't understand anyone emotionally, but often times I know exactly what they are thinking, or more so the gist of it. This is really useful trying to persuade people and make friends.
I think I carry on 3 types. Intuitive, (I can read people's energy), Emotional (I have deep rooted emotional instability when others do) and Animal empath (I can relate to what they are feeling and/or experiencing). Trust me, it gets pretty exhausting.
I also am emotional and animal empath very similar to the way you described it and it can get exhausting but I think when I was little one of my empath traits changed because I could always read peoples energy but I slowly lost it you could say and gained physical empathy weird to explain but yeah
I'm definitely a combination of intuitive, emotional and animal empath then :D I'm good at reading people's emotions and a lot of people have told me I talk like an old man and am being very insightful. There was a time where a lot of people, people older than me by years, would come to me for advice and guidance, until I learned to draw boundaries for myself (and that a 40 yo should not need a 24 yo to tell them how to live their life). You want to help everyone and be there for everyone and it's easy to lose yourself in that and I almost did. You have to draw lines as well, for your own mental health or you will burn out. I learned that the hard way. I also feel a very strong connection to my pets and spending time with them and understanding them gives me new energy to brave every day life. Even though it also means it breaks my heart when they inadvertently die. My family used to think it was weird that I cry as much over my dog and hamsters as I did for my gramps and granny. But they've kinda made peace with the fact that I just love people and my animals the same and that is who I am.
I am definitely an emotional and intuitive empath (good thing too cause I work with nonverbal adults so my intuition comes in quite handy in that way). I had an uncle that was a plant empath. He literally would spend HOURS tending to his garden and he definitely had one of the biggest green thumbs of anyone I ever came into contact with. I actually never knew that such a thing (plant empath) existed so that was definitely interesting to learn.
I feel people's emotions & energy - sometimes intensely - & intuitively understand what they're going through but, if I were to narrow it down, I'm surely an animal & plant empath. I live in the forest with German Shepherds, a human family, goats, chickens, flower gardens & several acres of land. I find peace & rest, work & joy tending to the land & the creatures around me. I have a quiet life so I really love being with people when I get the chance but soon get very tired, even sick. Critical, sad, unkind, angry, blaming, or sour attitudes hurt me. I'm learning to release the painful energy I absorb to Jesus, my great Burden Bearer. I can forgive people who pain me, let go of resentment, & start fresh again... Clean & free! Thriving as an empath is challenging but it's wonderful to be hyper-sensitive to beauty, love, nature, & the spirit realm.
I think I'm a mix of the Emotional, Intuitive, Physical and Animal Empaths Some people don't like watching movies with me because I can figure out the plot twist and I say it out loud without thinking and occasionally ruinening the movie for others (even though it's my first time seeing the movie as well)
You can of course have a mix of any of these empathic combinations. I myself am an emotional, intuitive, dream, and animal empath. Everything you've described there I have been my whole life. I now understand some kids in school that were physical empaths, didn't realize what that really was so thank you, and I now realize my x bf was deff a plant empath, he had plants all over his house and could make anything grow anywhere! Very interesting info, thx for the video! I hope more young kids get to see this because it would have helped me so much to understand what I was feeling as a kid when I would get off the bus on my way home from school, totally exhausted that I'd actually collapse for a few mins on the grass when I was a few blocks from home just so I could process and prepare myself for the next wave at home. Ah the life of an empath! Much love to you guys! Take deep breaths :)

Do you usually trust that instinct? and have you ever been proven wrong? I'm just curious.
@Yuzan
During my teen years up to the present.

I’m learning to do this, I used to take on ppls emotions n it would make me feel like I’m drowning n so overwhelmed!
Difficult
@@leashawilliamson2766 how do you do the shielding? I am an introverted empath

Dear PsychToGo--
Thank you for showing me that my habit of turning to my subconscious to better read the outer world is not some freak defect on my brain's part.
Ah, so that's why I trust people based off their vibe. Intuitive Empathy is definitely something I do
Me too! I can just kinda sense emotions through someone’s aura or ‘energy’ around them! 💖✨👑🌈🍬
So I'm not the only one who describes that feeling I get as vibes?

Same here except maybe not dream, I’m not sure, I don’t dream often or maybe I just don’t remember.
Every empath be chilling until a dark empath walks in
According to this, it's safe to say I'm an animal empath. I'm more comfortable around animals than I am with most people. I may not understand everything my cat tells me, but I love trying.
same
Same. I'm also an emotional empath.
Thank you!

I'm a scoop of emotional, a scoop of physical, and a sprinkle of dream topped with intuitive.
I'm 100000% animal empath. I'm so attuned to animals way more than humans, I find them easier to understand and easier to connect with.
Yep. I can't stand being around people, but I can chill with animals all day
Yeah! Like hand me a puppy, and I love him, play with him, pet him, etc. Hand me a human baby? I have no clue. Like... Do I pet it??... Or....?
@@sadiesstuff4270 lol ikr, I hear a baby crying and I just want someone to shut it the hell up. But if I hear an animal crying I go into "pet parent mode" and want to help
There a lot of animals that I hate, like most of the cats but I talk to my dog. I think my brain needs some kind of connection that is non-human
@@fable_enthusiast I don't hate any animals, I just don't like some because of behavioural problems or bad breeding, it's not a personal "hate" though. The only creatures that I hate are ticks, fleas, certain flies, lice and wasps.
@@PoloWolf47 I’m so sorry. Don’t worry. She doesn’t actually hate you. She just gets really sad and that just cools her off.
Grew up on a small farm in New England; I developed animal and plant empathetic skills at a young age. I've worked as a veterinary technician for the last 30 years, no surprise there; but mostly I'm so busy that I don't have time to connect with animals that need some help. Frustrating.
Oh neat✨😊but also hear yeah I like to connect to animals more cause sometimes I feel like I related to them more then people 😅
I run a small dairy farm with my folks and similarly developed strong animal empathy but not the plant side. I feel like I have some of the intuitive empathy traits as I focus on working with people too. Anyways I thought it was awesome to see a vet in the comments here. I’m also from New England area. I don't consider myself an empath but I love to help people and listen to their problems and helping them with what I could
Don’t deny what you could innermost be regardless of depths and levels.
Definitely a physical empath. Just hearing someone describe an injury makes me ache as if I got hurt like that. It can make nightmares seem so much more real and painful.
Me too....
I can’t decide 🤷🏼♀️i feel like i have something from every singel type🙏🏼i hope who reading this is ok and safe ❤️

Yes as long as you have adequet time and space/housing for them!
Coool

My mom and I were just talking about Empaths, my mom swears that we are both Empaths so I love seeing this video and learning more about it. =)
I KNEW IT WASNT A GERMAN SHEPHERD AND I WAS LIKE WAIT WHAT IS THE NAME IS SLIPING ME THANKK UU
It means you don't trust people easily other than animals..
@@bhoomika.d6543 nope I'm one of those who never question people's stories maybe bcoz I'm not interested about what they say but I trust easily.
Omg I relate so much
If you experienced a traumatic event as a young child, or even if you were just born with shallow emotions, you may want to look into psychopathy. It's not what people think it is, it is a lack of a sense of self and so a hard time relating to others, and there are lots of wonderful therapists who can help you delve into understanding yourself and others as much as you are able to with time.
I’m a whole solid ass empath. My intuition and care falls into every single major category ❤️
I've had enough empathy growing up too early to be just an emotional empath. I understand and can tell when someone is bothered, but I strive to resolve their stress and comfort them as best I can. Because if they're in a bad position, chances are I've been there too. Love you all♡♡♡

Oh my, what a cute and beautiful animation/drawing style ! I love it 🌷
My mother is definitely a plant empath, and I find myself being every type except.
I think one could call that a _cognitive empath_ or spoken in another way _thinker empath_
This artstyle is so cute and happy!! i love it so much!!
