Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the "McGuyver" Mason Motorcycle Show, brought to you by Mosko Moto! Nicely done, especially using existing pieces! Thanks Brother.

I copied your idea but am using TUSK fender bags. Not as big as your moose bags but do the same thing. Can hold two tubes in one, an air compressor, all tools, super glue, loctite, JB weld etc. in the other. Lots of room and fairly inexpensive. Have held up well this year so far. You have to do the same as the moose bags and cut the metal fender clips off. The Tusk bags have velcro shut pockets for two tire irons per side and are included with the bags.

Great video!! Yesterday I was standing in my garage trying to figure out a way I could mount my mosko moto bags to my crash bars. Was looking at mounting a molle style plate to the bars but this would be way easier. Thanks for sharing.

I just received two of the newer graphic Moose bags but had to get them off eBay from England. Other than the graphics, they look the same as the older ones you have. I was able to get my tools in one bag and the portable pump and flat repair kit, plus tire tools, in the other. I have heavy duty tubes which are too big to fit in the bags so I will need to find another way to carry those. I have Tusk hard bags but don't normally need them. It will be nice to have needed supplies on the bike and only add the bags when needed.

I copied your idea with the Moose bags on a 2007 KLR650 crash bars, and it’s been working great for two years up on the mud up here in AK! They’ve even stood up to a few dirt naps with no problems. Thanks Mason!

I have been known to drag the KLR around on them too 😄 Really have held up well. Cheers!

Mine are Givi roll-top waterproof 5ltr bags on sw-mototech crashbars. They are doing well, despite all the brush bashing they get. But I'm a V-Strom 1000.

I have the newer versions (I think) unless they changed again. Mine are black and orange. They work great as well. I have the Tusk crash bars.

Yes I think so. Glad to hear they work. I was getting comments that they didn't but I haven't seen the black and orange ones up close. Thanks Sean!

Thanks for the update, I recently bought the. Moose bags similar to yours. I believe the only difference might be the colours they offer now. I did cut off the tail of the webbing and hope that wasn’t a mistake after I’ve seen the keepers your using. Thanks for all the great advice.

I'm currently running the Giant Loop Possibles Pouch which are 3.5 liters and roll top which can be a little tight. This may be jut the reason I need to justify the Mosko order. I've had the Nomad tank bag in the cart for some time now, so I add a couple small pouches and present it to the budget committee and see what she says.

Thanks for the video!!!! love the Moose Racing bags and was sad to see there no longer available...... just picked up a KLR and wanted some bags for the crash bars. Now if Mosko would just get some items in stock........

@@masonsadv I did end up with some Mosko 4L bags but they were to nice to use....... I did find these from Moose Racing PUL-3510-0107
they work great and are just black now....... metal clips were cheesy and a set of dikes cut right through to get them off the straps........ I like the fact that they have all the straps to hold tools rather than finding something to put tools into to get them in the 4L bags.

Clever. Could also cut strips of the double sided velcro to keep loose staps tidy. Ive started using molle pouches instead of bike brands...which are getting over priced. And Malice clips are the best secure way to attach molle stuff.

No I haven't but after 5 years I can say it works well! Nice having some of the items that I take everywhere low and forward and not having to move anything when I change my setup. Cheers Robert.

Great idea! I ended up getting 2 Moose tube bags, they tuck in between the SW Motech bars nicely. I also removed the fender clips, and criss-crossed the straps. One side holds a spare tube and spoons, and the other side all my tools.

*** ALTERNATIVE option *** IF you have the SW Motech crashbars, the Giant Loop Possibles bags work awesome! They're a drybag and all straps/clips are included. About $50 (USD).
