hi if I want to add another switch in another building (building B) but keep it on same network as other building (building A), do I just run a fiber and add the switch into any of the 3 switches in building A from the single switch in building B?
Thanks for your content. My problem is that when I try to install the port driver, it apears the following error: "This device cannot start. (Code 10). The specified request is not a valid operation for the target device.". I have tried meny things and the error persists. Do you have any idea for the solution?.
I have the console cable and it shows COM6 in Device Manager however when I putty to COM6 nothing happens.
Is this a physical layer thing (Console Cable being faulty)?
Could it be that the console port is disabled (is this even possible)?

Thanks Al! You cannot run Aruba / ProCurve in GNS3, but you can run Comware VSRs in GNS3. Juniper is on my list as a lot of people are asking for it :)

Only indirectly. See community.hpe.com/t5/Network-Simulator/Integrating-the-HP-Network-Simulator-with-GNS3/td-p/6697908 . The only HPE device you can run directly in GNS3 is the VSR1000 router on Comware 7, just go here and search for VSR: h10145.www1.hpe.com/support/SupportLookUp.aspx
