Amazing work. You’re a true craftsman… pulled out the file where so many of us would have went with the flap disc.. hid your welds, where most would have just welded the visible spots and you added a second layer when most of us would have thought, this looks tough enough. You’re not just an amazing craftsman, you’re an absolute artist. 👏🏽
There is a glitch in the video when the first bend. You can tell it’s not a perfect U shaped bend. Then there is a glitch and then there perfect. I don’t blame him for not giving away all the little tricks. I figured it out and getting better at making these. Awesome video awesome artist. Thank you for your videos. I’m pretty sure I saw another dude tie “raybar” in a knot in about half the length of this video, with about half the effort, and it looked about….the same. Great job my friend ! You are an inspiration to all of us who are getting older and need something to keep us occupied ! I mean that from the bottom of my heart ! You’re an inspiration ! Stay healthy ! And Stay Happy ! My edit was a spell correction.
Great skill and idea - looks fantastic. If I could change one thing, IMHO, the pieces work better aesthetically on the top of the shelf and not bellow, because of the single nature of the knot that pulls, not pushes. Great job!

That’s the idea of the steel knot with the bracket on top he may of just saved himself a ton of time and used real rope. I get exactly what idea you are referring too I have made some brackets with this idea but used hard wood and some jute rope for the support.
