Sorry for the error, but the back spike rotates you 180 degrees not 360.

I'd love to see a swing-launch Mack like this in the US somewhere but with punchier launches... it's a shame that a coaster themed to space travel doesn't give you the feeling of being shoved into your seat back like you'd expect from the enterprise entering warp/hyperspeed.

@@CanobieCoaster Mack _could_ just forsake their soft launch philosophy and make it just as good, too, but they're kinda like the guy selling snakes and sparklers in Joe Dirt... they only sell soft launches because soft launches are what they like

Good point about one train operations in Parques Reunidos. I really hate this chain for that. In March I was in Parque Warner and they ran Superman with one train even there way a queue waiting time of 45 minutes. What was even worse the fact they were filling the train like for 30% with people with fast passes. This is absolutely terrible behaviour towards paying customers and I really appreciate that you mentioned this and you have the same experience. This can really ruin your day.

I'm a huge fan of Star Trek the Next Generation, so I would totally love to go through that queue. That bridge looks so awesome! I think my heart would skip a beat walking into there. If I ever make it there, I hope the pre-show is back. I'm sure I would enjoy the ride as well.

As intense headliner Movie Park once had a pair of duelling Intamin looping coasters with Lethal Weapon Pursuit / Cop Car Chase. It had to be removed because it had some issues with its foundation if I remember correctly.

Star Trek is a powerhouse. The Layout has no dead Spots and it is THE hangtime machine for me. Going up the Tophat in the back car leaves you hanging sideways, i love it.
You also can not ride it all day. I once had 8 Rides without Getting off the train and you really Start to feel the intensity it offers.
That being all said, it sadly is located at MPG and is therefore Poorly maintained and its rare to See the whole preshow... meh. In my opinion its not the stand out coaster that the Park needed ^^ still fingers crossed for an out and back hyper on the backside of the park

This was one of the few rides I actually went on at MPG before deciding to leave, it’s a shame that operations here are so bad because I enjoyed the things I did ride but between the insane line ups and line jumping that was actually becoming violent , it just was not worth it for me.

    • @CanobieCoaster

A great fit for this place. This is really the only actual good roller coaster here which is kinda a shame but it's a really good one of bring the only good one. The launches an inversions are quite like a Mack and their modern goodness, it's a lot like sabdys blasting bronco even though that's an Intamin.

I visited 2 weeks ago and it took them 5 minutes to dispatch the one train, because the access from the speedy pass lane was poorly organized and led to countless discussions with guests from the regular line. We had to wait at least 20 minutes in the station alone...

I would say 8/10 is generous. I like Star Trek TNG well enough but I'm not crazy about IP-based rides in general. The ride itself is good but very mild. But with the other major coasters at this park in a race to the bottom, it certainly is the star of Movie Park. It's smooth and Mack has the best restraints in the game. Nifty recreation of the Enterprise bridge, too.

Mack is the expert of making launch Coasters with amazing layouts but the worst launches you've ever seen. I swear Arrow Shuttle Loops have more powerful launches than some Macks (*cough* Capitol Bullet Train *cough*)

Capitol Bullet Train's is especially comical since they say something about preparing for high speed transit and then you slowly roll down the track.

This was the very first actual Rollercoaster of my life and my friend told me its not really intense to calm me down. It was also the first thing we did in the park and my first park i went to. Me and my friend s talked very much while waiting, which didnt let me overthink it. I saw the ride from the outside but didnt know what rollercoaster it belongs to. When we sat in the seat and the door to see the track opend, i was so shocked and i was screaming the whole ride. It was terrifying in the moment and i wanted to kill my friends for doing this to me, but after its end I was really excited and happy that i have done this.
I am not very tall ( 1.48m) and had many experiences with slightly falling out of my seat on other rides which werent rollercoasters, but star treck gave me a good secure and safe feeling. I would do it anytime again.😄
