  • Join Brian Lewis for a tour of 123 West 132nd Street: a historic brownstone located in New York City's Harlem neighborhood. Built in 1910, this 5-bedroom home, situated in the vibrant area of Lenox Terrance, has since been re-envisioned in ways that have implemented modern conveniences to make it livable in the 21st century, while also preserving its original details, stunning craftsmanship, and classic DNA - including keeping the antique front door to moving the kitchen (with its room marble countertops, dining bar, top-end fixtures trophy appliances, and gorgeous walnut cabinets) to the middle of the space to make the most of the natural light that streams in from the open-plan dining area. From the herringbone wood plank floors to the soaring tall ceilings to the new copper plumbing, and from the jaw-dropping, well-scaled primary suite (complete with a massive walk-in closet, gas fireplace, dual-sinked marble bath, and treetop views) to the multiple guest rooms to the serene private garden right outside, this beautiful townhouse seamlessly dovetails the past with the present.

Nicely done. Would have liked to see the basement and utility rooms. Does it offer access to the yard?

I wanted to see the other upper floor(s) and does this one have a cellar floor below the garden floor?
A second living downstairs is a waste [to me].

You are WAY off on the age of this house. It was likely built in the 1870s

Gentrification is taking all of the soul out of Harlem...literally.

That office desk was hideous. It was so cheap looking, like something you’d get at Walmart.

True it looks like made out of plastic, but when looking precisely I think it should be pretty heavy and good quality

This is in the middle of the hood. Dopeheads are everywhere and you’d think everyone is dying in Harlem with the nonstop sirens. Also, fuk gentrification.
