Congratulations on reaching 1,000 subscribers (actually 1,077 currently!!) That's really amazing. You're videos have been quite an eye opener to me mainly because of your complete openness and sincerity which I think has given me a lot of insight into how my much more closed mouthed asexual friend might be feeling. It's why I came here in the first place and I think you're channel is by far the best I've seen in honestly dealing with the topic. It's easy to see that you are a very open and kind person and I think you have the potential to do some great things with your channel and beyond that. You're not even twenty years old yet and already you've helped a great number of people, something very few people can say. That is an accomplishment to be proud of and I hope you are! You should be!
I know you don't realize it or believe it, but you are a shining star Sweetie and you are so worth the time and effort it would take to get the help you need to beat this gambling addiction. You've attempted it on your own so maybe it's time to find someone to help? I've personally seen someone close to me completely derail her life with gambling addiction and I don't want that to happen to you too. Believe me there is a lot to lose besides money. But with some help I know you can do it, and you certainly have a lot of people out there in the world who want to see you succeed! (1077 at least!) Please at least consider confiding in someone who can put you in touch with resources that can help. Your future is too bright to let something like this stand in the way!

I completely understand. I hate admitting to people about it but yeah you're right I really do need some help with this. I suppose because I get counselling for my anxiety and depression too it's hard to accept that I need help for yet more problems I possess. Thank you so much!!
+Cookee Monsterr I understand, but I think what you might be missing is that the anxiety, depression and the gambling addiction are all probably manifestations of one issue rather than several separate issues. Very likely they all stem from the same thing if that makes sense. For instance the gambling could be a coping device that helps you manage your anxiety and depression. Addictions like that can give you a little adrenaline "fix" while you are doing it that makes you feel better momentarily, similar to what people who cut themselves or do drugs feel. I have a strong feeling that if your anxiety and depression improved, your need to gamble would lessen. For a counselor to really help you he/she needs the full story and if you leave out an element he/she won't be able to connect the dots and lead you to the correct resources for help.

I'm hardly a licensed therapist, but I do some volunteer counseling of teens and young adults and am pretty handy at helping them find resources. Absolutely no pressure of course!
you're probably 100% correct for sure!! I do agree that if my depression improved then my gambling will, in turn, improve too.Thank you so much, good on you for voluntarily giving up your free time to help young adults, that's amazing!!

When I had my eating disorder that was the one thing that I found I was good at : losing weight ... It was an addiction ..
