I just want to point out that a Warhound Titan is 2000 points, so twice as much as Gerry, and it's stat profile is as follows: WS4+ BS3+ S8 T8 W50 A4 L10 Sv2+. The Warhound also has only two weapons that amount to 40 shots at S6 AP-2 D2 and no specialized melee weapon (just its feet attacks). Gerry really needed to be the entire points cost of the Ork Army
@@jwtaylor87 no, it would be unplayable, the warhound is unplayable and a terrible model. warhound should be max like a thousand points. this should be more at 1250 points
And a WarLORD Titan, which is 5500 points and rather a lot bigger than Gerry, is still only T9. Whoever came up with that statline has clearly never looked at other big stuff before. What's more, a native 1+ save is completely broken, which is why GW have done some errata in 9th to ensure it's not possible to get one. Although an unmodified 1 is still a fail, a MODIFIED 1 is a pass - and the rules say that a die roll can never be modified below a 1, which means that if you roll a 2 vs AP-6, that's a modified 1, which passes. Effectively, Gerry should have had a 2++ ;-)
Man, only 4 out of 44 ranged weapons for knights are able to wound that thing on better than 5+. Patreon did not give a fuck about it being fun to play against that monster. I would definitely recommend some, you know, balance, if you ever plan to put it in another battle report.

I feel like since jerry sooo tall, anything within 6 inches shouldn’t be able to be targeted. Kinda like they can’t angle the weapons down enough. And kinda gives Steve a chance to actually fight back
This whole episode reminds me of the orc mega gargant "Godbreaker" that took down the imperator battle titan Stormherald in the helsreach novel. God daaaaamn that was some intense titan action especially when narrated by Jonathan Keeble.

This is still a baby compared to that. That was a Mega-Gargant. In Epic scale the scales were Stompa, Supa Stompa, Slasha Gargant, Great Gardant then Mega Gargant. Stompaz back then we’re the size of Gorkanaughts, so this Mega Stompa is probably the size of a mere Slasha Gargant.
Honestly though, it would have made more sense for Steve to be allowed an extra amount of points on the board to make up for that... Ungodly Jerry monster
This was a fun game guys. As an ultramarines player, it was cool to see the Green Skins at a huuuge advantage. It was actually very inspiring to see how long the marines were able to last against such overwhelming odds... Great game!
Too bad it was so unbalanced... It would has been way more interresting if it was a fair battle instead of just turns after turns of Gerry stomping blue ants.
I would like them to expand Adeptus Titanicus to include Ork and Eldar Titans, as well as some more Chaos looking traitor Titans & Daemon Engines. Would like to see the equivalent of an Ork Titan Maniple face off against the Imperium.
I cannot say how easily this could be done, and how awesome it would be. We’ve already got eldar wraithknights, 3 size classes of Titans, and multiple super heavy tanks or planes. Maybe make an XL avatar of khaine and you don’t even need to make any truly new models. With orks, there’s so much that could be done it feels wrong…

The warlord would need a similar overhaul for that. at T8 vs T14, 5000 points for that vs 1000 for Jerry, man I can't wait to see how the Producers reconfigure that warlord.

Just watching this, I think Gerry is abit OP for the points. I mean I guess that was sort of the point, but I would have given Steve more points or had Gerry cost more.
Yeah Gerry needed to cost at least double, at 1000 points it was a forgone conclusion since the orks can cover the board in infantry and bring bikers and other vehicles, it needed to be Gerry and a big mob of boyz rather than a regular ork army plus a completely busted homebrew unit.
Right. I felt like Steve needed a bigger titan than those knights. I think the imperium would have sent a bigger titan for that heresy. Sorry if I didn't get the lore right, brother.

i am genuinely surprised at how many pleasant little ways you find to make things funner to watch. the tiny trumpet on a command ability, the comedic timing of the shot animations, generel animation shenanigans (holy steve haha) and many more is very wonderful. The shield captain and vexilus praetor, yeah, are HQ but it's Valerian and Aleya and Trajan Valoris who are the main HQ. They also have a land raider, dreadnought and Astra Telepathica units if you want more expansion.
Here's a massive issue I have with Komlech and want it to go away so I can buy their stuff. Resin? It's GARBAGE and I want plastic models. 1/100000000 can properly make a resin model that doesn't have MASSIVE ISSUES by sheer dint of being resin. Breaks easy, bends, flakes paint, fucking melts in the sun. I cannot stand resin shit models. Krom, invest in plastic sprues, I'll buy a whole second 6000 points of Orks.
Honestly with a model that big, I'd be surprised if Gerry didn't apply Mortal Wounds to the whole board if he explodes. like, D6 within 12", D3 within 12-24", and 1 to everything else also just absolutely wrecked shop, prolly needs a points balance but hey, big stompy things are fun!

from the very start i knew the outcome because of how bad the crimson fists list is... compared to a 1k point titan that should be 1500+. you needed to give steve some kind of antitank forgeworld vehicle

I really like Orks, but I'm always super underwhelmed, when they roll a gazillion dice and only manage to make like 3 wounds... and then the blue men group saves all of them.
Im gonna be honest this game was a drag to watch. it was just one unkillable model one shotting every valuable unit in steve's army. Like now wonder Steve lost. Just cause you say the game was close a handful of times dosen't actually make it close.

Im gonna be honest this game was a drag to watch. it was just one unkillable model one shotting every valuable unit in steve's army. Like now wonder Steve lost. Just cause you say the game was close a handful of times dosen't actually make it close.
