    Just have to say it, because it is in my brain. You have the exact same voice as another RUclipsr, Zemalf. Keep up the good work!

    Sometimes you can take stuff out of the arena after battle. Look for it before the match

    • @ottovmp
      @ottovmp  11 месяцев назад

      Yeah it's the "spoils of war" battle trait. Only problem is that I'll lose what I bring in, so I'dhave to go in without any shield or weapon. :D

    Really great concept Otto! You should do more runs where you try to complete other armor sets

      I just might! :) I've scheduled lot's of videos for Hades starting next month, but I'll most likely just do a double upload to fit more armor sets in. :D

    You failed to order several times. It was funny.

      Glad to have remembered to order enough at the end though. But my head does admittedly get blurry when I'm further along in the runs. :D

    When I do 1vs many my stamina never goes up after it's depleted, even with I train it a lot. How do you keep yours so high all the time?

    • @ottovmp
      @ottovmp  11 месяцев назад

      I've actually found that there's a bug wherein stamina doesn't start to regen. This is how I believe it happens;
      I'm running,
      I get hit while I'm stopping running,
      Game still thinks that I'm running and won't regenerate stamina.
      Usually this is fixed by tapping the run button again. If you feel like this is not the case, then check whether you're alway holding "block", as that slows your stamina regen. Low health, heavy armor and weapon class also affect the regen rate.
      Low health especially effects max stamina.
      Hope this helps! :D

    I really enjoyed this video, but damn, you really gonna work that hard to get the whole set and not use it once?!?

    • @ottovmp
      @ottovmp  7 месяцев назад +1

      Haha! Should've known to use it! 😂 It's such a trophy piece though, meanin' it doesn't work that well in actual use.

      @@ottovmp I remember you saying something like that in the video. What would you consider the best armour in the game? Is it the other godly set or a mix of different masterwork pieces?

    • @ottovmp
      @ottovmp  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@bibby3131 Great question! It has been a while since I've last played, but basically armor has two categories. Cool-factor and defense. If you're looking to maximize your fame-gain, there are armors that do that better. Defense-wise armor really follows the stats religiously.
      Leg armor is usually just stamina waste though, as hits rarely connect on your legs. Maybe if multiplayer was introduced, legs would beed some attention as well.
      Though best armor for me is usually the best looking ones. :D

      @@ottovmp Thanks for the in-depth response. That all makes perfect sense. I’m a sucker for the cool looking stuff too. I’d love a multiplayer update, the game definitely had potential there, even if it is a little janky.

    How do u get so much fame?

    • @ottovmp
      @ottovmp  3 месяца назад

      @@masterjam13marcos45 Basically I prioritize armor that gives alright fame and at least no negative fame, then I also aim to fight in matches that have already a great ampunt of fame to begin with. :) Also this is an old video, which predates the recent overhaul. I am not sure whether there have been changes to fame rate since. :D

    This game would have a much greater potential if only it had an even semi functional combat system. I mean imagine dark souls combat with this! However watching some-one else is much more enjoyable.

    • @ottovmp
      @ottovmp  11 месяцев назад +2

      Definitely! However, I also think that in a way the combat system goofing around at times adds to the games charm. :D

    • @sabotagethefool
      @sabotagethefool 11 месяцев назад +4

      Disagree. The reason it’s succeeding is its unique feel which includes the combat (which is more than semi functional) dodge rolling around would not be very gladiator like, and not everything needs to be a souls like, it’s done to death, this stood on its own feet from a solo dev and stands out as interesting because of it.
