One of my favorite places to hike. Did a stint on the AT through here in early 2012. I bet it is nice without 50+ lbs on your back. Ugh. I wanna go back. PS: this is highlands area and we called it the trail to Mordor.
We hiked this today but didn’t make it all the way to Mt. Rogers. Gave its good go though. Maybe next time! The rocks were rough for myself and my 10-year-old. The weather was perfect (July 2021). Thanks for the video
