Thanks for sharing the update. I just think that your flowers are beautiful.
I've been out on the AK tundra picking cloudberries. I have about 16 quarts so far. The bears & moose have been hanging around the village so sometimes I'm afraid to go very far.
    I'm so grateful you're here !

Cloudberries? I had to look them up to see what they were. They sound yummy. I also saw the zone map and they only grow in the pretty cold areas!

You are so Smart and educated! I am proud of you. A lady of many gifts. You are a horticulturalist even so now! Very blessed! I had a hard time planting in the ground when I lives in Tennessee, there was ALOT of clay. I had to use above the ground venues to plant my flowers

Love my DA roses. Currently just took delivery of Port Sunlight, Lady Of Shalot… simply wonderful! Olivia Rose Austen was my first and favourite. Ronald Dahl and Desdamona are next on the list. Love your garden and look forward to seeing how they develop. Mark in Scotland x

Greetings Lisa! I love seeing your garden, and roses are my favorites. Yours are doing so well! I need to plant some in my pots, although I've never grown them that way. Love and blessings ♥️🙏

Thank you Jean. Mine are doing really well in pots, though a lot of the shrub roses get too wide, Of course if you prune it well it will always stay manageable in a container

Hello Lisa! I really enjoyed seeing your watercolor paintings. I have been doing watercolors for a while and gradually getting better. I love it, because it really relaxes me. Your flowers are gorgeous, especially the roses. Just beautiful. Have a great week. Connie

It is 100% okay to take inspiration from other’s art work. Just don’t try to copy. Make it your own regardless if you are a beginner or advanced. Be proud of your first efforts. I see a good eye already! Probably your photographer skill in play. You have to start somewhere to figure out color, blending, and brushes make a difference with technique. I love watercolor, but I love painting landscapes with alcohol ink even more. The colors can be muted or vivid so more diversity. I get lost in painting. What a lovely neighbor to bring a shovel to help!

Like the second City Lips, the gloss w/the gold sparkles. Nice neighbor. My favorite flower is the carnation, I love their smell even more than the smell of roses. Can you grow them? ay, sunflowers, reminds me of my favorite artist Van Gogh. Are you growing herbs as well? Thx Lisa, be blessed.

I actually have my first packet of carnation seeds to grow. We’ll see what happens next spring! I did plant herbs for kitchen use but I really never harvested them and they all bolted. I think I need to put them on my front porch or closer so I see them in the morning. I don’t always go back to the vegetable area lol.

Quietness is a lovely hardy rose down to zone 4. It blooms all summer and has long cut-able canes. We have it in our Rose Study Garden that our local rose society takes care of. I tried to find it locally this year but I think I’m going to have to order from heirloom roses to make sure I get in the fall. It’s low maintenance but spectacular
