That will be the next thing the squallids will be moaning about, no doubt they’ll be sitting with their abacuses, tallying up how many official duties she’s performing!🙄

    Hi Graham & Fiona!! Bravo, thanks for doing this episode and highlighting the recovery of major surgery. I also had major surgery for cancer 20 years ago and I'm still here. Was so delighted to see our beautiful Princess of Wales up and about and looking so well. If anyone did not think how important she was before this, they know now. The most photographed woman in the world and beautiful inside and out, one cannot buy that. So good to see you doing well Graham. Keep up the good work!👏👏👏

    To be fair, when I trained to be a nurse, cancer was a death sentence often. I am 66 yrs old. Surgery was sternum to pelvic bone for most abdominal surgery. Surgeons handled all your insides which added to how you felt post op. Gall bladder removal was minimum 1 week on hospital, now it is day surgery for many!
    We have made progress in our knowledge about cancer and minimal access surgeries. From days in bed to getting up as soon as possible.
    Initial recovery is a lot quicker. Depending on the surgery, your body is still healing up to a year later.
    Glad to see you doing and feeling better Graham🥰

    Some surgeries do take weeks, months and even years to heal and recover. I had an hysterectomy and a repair. Won’t go into detail about the repair but I had to take it very easy for 12 weeks. The first 4 weeks being crucial for optimal recovery. I was amazed at how I recovered in more ways than just the surgery. The relief from no longer experiencing excruciating pain showed in my whole being. Leave anyone who has gone through any surgery alone to heal in peace.

    Graham I had a type of chemo med for my autoimmune disorders. My hair fell out for 6 months!! I had long, dark, straight hair. It grew back with tight, curls mostly in the back. It was also redder. Gradually it relaxed and was soft curls and now it’s still wavy. It’s a hard road for anyone!! I’m really disgusted with MM, PH, their cult and MSM for hounding and bullying the PoW. I’ve unsubscribed from most MSM!!

      Precisely Brenda & a lot depends on what surgery you had done, how much they took away, and the size of your incision site & wounds. Like Graham my surgery took around 7 hours, but I was sliced from just below my sternum to just above my pubic bone, I looked & felt like an overstuffed haggis covered in 50+ wound clips & big ugly black sutures!😆 Initially I was doing great, was up walking on my own within a couple of days, the surgeons were amazed - I even took some of my own sutures out. But it took me many months to recover physically, as unfortunately I was left with various complications which are really rather rare.
      It’s so lovely to see both Graham & our beloved Princess Catherine recuperating so well!🥰❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

    Hi Fiona and Graham! It was great to see Catherine. She does look like she lost a little weight, which you will do with abdominal surgery. On that I can speak from experience. When I was much younger than Catherine, I had to have abdominal surgery. It was no picnic I'll tell ya! But you do lose some weight. You are on clear liquids and then just a liquid diet for nearly a week. They do have to stop your intestines from moving. So that takes a while to get started back up again. I was in hospital for about 2 weeks. It was a very cold January too. Since Catherine was in good shape prior to surgery she might have been able to bounce back better than others would do. I didn't feel like myself for at least 6 months. It will still be several weeks before the public sees Catherine going back to public life. Ppl seem to think that it's easy to bounce back from surgery. It's not! Your body has been assaulted. Yes, it was highly skilled surgeons, but you were cut open and they were into your guts. Not a nice thought, but the truth. Now that Catherine was seen and videoed, maybe now the media will leave her alone to recuperate. As for what she needed surgery for is really none of our business. I never said what my surgery was for and I won't put it out in public. Neither should she have too.

    • @davidmurphy816
      @davidmurphy816 5 месяцев назад +1

      Oh the joys of that pre & post op diet … watery soup (choice of chicken or tomato) & jelly for afters, think I was on that for around 10 days!😵‍💫🤢 Between what was wrong with me & the post surgery phase my weight plummeted by around 3 stones. I too thought that Princess Catherine looks to have lost a bit of weight, but hopefully she will regain both the weight & full strength given the time she needs to recover fully & without the vicious pile on, she has been subjected to!🙏❤️‍🩹 It’s been truly despicable behaviour by the Press, various so called ‘celebs’ (hope it comes back to bite them), the sewer squad, antimonarchists & people jumping on the bandwagon, it’s as though a large percentage of folks have totally lost their marbles!🤪🧌👺🤡🤪

    • @randallcosta74
      @randallcosta74 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@davidmurphy816 I was thinking that maybe they should all have to have abdominal surgery. Then they'll know how you feel like sh*t for weeks/months trying to get back to your regular life. Then they can have ppl expect more from them than they can actually do. Just a thought!

    There are many different types of this disease,some more aggressive forms and some seemingly slow to develop. It also depends where in the body it is detected. The diagnostic tests and scans are improving constantly as well as the chemotherapy and types of radiotherapy. Also the surgical interventions are more refined these days.

    💮🌻💮 A serious illness, does take its toll on your body and mental health in many ways. The medicines and surgery necessary to help you fight, wreak their own type of havoc upon you. Once that fight has been fought, it is over to the patient; Pay attention to your body, including your emotions, while nourishing a return to good health through, physically fitness, maintaining a nourishing diet and embracing the love and care of your friends and family. Ensure you do the same for those who love you most - check in and ask if they are okay. Cheers to your continued good health Graham, you have plenty of love, life, stories and joyous laughter to share and be a part of with your loved ones. 🍾🎉 PS Love the hat! 🤠

    I forgot to mention, I read somewhere that Dr’s stated that initially Catherine had a laparoscopic (keyhole) proceedures, but had to have it upgraded to open surgery, so she probably had a fair sized wound with clips/sutures or a combination of both. It was a joy to see her back outdoors shopping with William, & looking so well.😍🥰❤️‍🩹

      That's rubbish love. No doctor would give out any information on Catherine ❤❤. Graham and fiona. Some people have gone mad, and its got really, really nasty 😢😢

      @@purplevelvet69 I didn’t say it was Catherine’s Dr who provided this info, it was another eminent surgeon specialising in abdominal surgery, & given her two week hospital stay following surgery, this certainly points to open surgery having been performed ( in my opinion as a former RGN). Also having undergone major abdominal surgery myself which went from being a Laparoscopy procedure & escalted into a seven hour surgery with what they discovered via the scope, unfortunately they cannot always make a 100% accurate diagnosis from simply looking at X-rays & scans - in this instance they prefer to perform key hole surgery to insert the laparoscope camera & take a good look around before electing to perform more radical surgery. This is done in the hope that the problem can eradicated via keyhole surgery, thus reducing the increased associated risks, debilitation & discomfort of having to incise the abdominal layers.

      I was astonished when I asked how long internal healing was and one of the surgeons said couple of weeks generally 😮. I kind of thought Graham would be made of glass for months, but he only used the painkillers for two weeks, it was incredible ❤

    The gentleman who filmed the video in the Farm Market on the Windsor Estate VERIFIED that he WAS CERTAIN, WITHOUT A DOUBT; that the lovely couple he saw was The Prince and Princess of Wales. I thought their wide strides was UNMISTAKABLY the energy of William and Catherine.

    I was like that, with my total knee replacement surgery -- one minute you were in the hallway -- and the next "minute" you are in the recovery room !
    With that surgery the more important points are to (1) keep the stitches clean and dry, and (2) NEVER skip the physiotherapy. Do it EVERY DAY.
    MY ridiculous misconception: that the front of my leg would be cut across HORIZONTALLY, where the pain was ! UNTIL I was shown a very non-scary video of what the operation entailed. It very quickly became "the strong leg".
    We are SO fortunate to have the Health Systems we have in the UK, and in Canada -- the Hospital "Teams" for each part of our body's maladies make a big difference in care.

    Graham , you look great in a cowboy hat. Too bad you can’t send a few huge lemons across the sea to me .I agree about the lovely Catherine , Princess of Wales , and the BRF. Loved Grace Kelly . Also agree that “ She Who will not be named
    “ threw it all away “ she is evil and her jealousy of POW is eating her up. Was even jealous of the Wales children .
    Thank you Graham , and Fiona , for sharing your experiences before and after Graham’s diagnosis and surgery .
    I think it’s so sweet you wanted to protect Fiona, from any dangers in London . Your her Knight in shining armor.
    Thank the Lord , They got in time . God bless you both , your surgeon and medical staff. 🙏 ❤️🇺🇸

    I clicked on this solely because of the word "recovery." Like a breath of fresh air with all the talk about the Princess of Wales's cancer diagnosis and it's very scary. And you didn't even know she has cancer when you made this, but it's so timely and spot on. Best of luck to you!

    You can't argue with stupid people. Just roll your eyes and scroll on. Some people are so unhappy with their lives they project that on to others. I wish ppl on X would just ignore them, they love all the attention.
