I cried for a solid week I’m exactly to the day 11 months younger than her she had a rocky marriage and so did I we both got divorced we both had sons born in 1982. My granddaughter will turn 1 on prince George’s birthday July 22. I think what hurt me the most was just the fact she was leaving behind those children and that she was just now starting to live her life for her. I don’t think she was gonna get married she just got divorced she just wanted to have fun and feel free. Yes I was devastated to and I still feel pain for her I miss her . I’m sure she’d have been a great grandma , and it’s a shame she’s not here .I stayed up all night that night till they came on and said she had died , but when they showed pictures of the car I thought it’d be a miracle if she was alive . I love you Diana Spencer .

After all the trauma, it is quite likely that Diana's mother may have suffered from Post Natal Depression. Diana also married a much older man when she was nineteen and they were completely unsuited. She wanted her marriage to work but their differences could not be resolved. I don't believe that Diana deliberately set out to have affairs but, she must have been terribly lonely and devastated at the breakdown of her marriage when it became clear that there was no hope.
