BRILLIANT!!!! So happy to see this online. I was there as a 22-year old American college student and Fusilier in the 23rd Regt. RWFIA. To this day I remember 21 Apr 89 as one of the highlights of my life.

I was there as a 14 y/o with my father that was in the group of Americans that re-enacted the 23rd. I just found this video today when thinking about the Queen and how she just died this morning.

Thank you so much for posting this...I was thrilled to see it..for the first time......apart from the fact that I come across as a pompous prat, it’s great....I remember so will the young boys ‘dying’ it was rather moving as those who were slaughtered in the trenches were only a couple of years older.....of the 320 major events I produced sadly there are so many of which I have no photographic evidence...so it is a great treat to ‘discover’ another one...thank you again. Michael Parker you are welcome. Father was on parade, in number 2 guard. I grew up with ceremonial and I love watching these things. I grew up excited to see the Royal Tournament and the Edinburgh Tattoo. Sadly I was to young to watch your productions live with my first visit live in 1996. It really is an amazing experience corresponding with you after growing up admiring your productions Thank you

I remember it well, staying at that shithole Nescliffe while we went daily for rehearsals, great memories of meeting the USMC silent drill team, even managed to get a t shirt from them, hard to believe it was 31 years ago

I remember it too Miki I was 3rd Battalion.
I remember firing up those pot belly stoves and nearly melting my nasty green plastic mattress.
Good times though, and remember getting hammered at the 3 feathers? 3 pigeons or something down the road.
Was a lot of work that parade for something that's now long long ago, but at least I still have the medallion and the programs from the day.
