One where we could potentially have flashbacks with gameplay from the perspective of Bowser (I liked being able to play as Bowser in Bowser's inside story) or possibly Kamek depending on what the exact storyline is. It would allow for a nice change of pace controlling a different character for a small arc of the story. And since this topic might be a fairly central topic in this game, foreshadowing an encounter and even final boss fight against Bowser's dad would allow the player to fight using Bowser and/or Kamek, which could get them some closure and move on from that past. While the theme itself would probably have to be pretty subdued as it is still in essence a Mario game (and Nintendo won't allow any heavy emotional developments to happen as of now), it would be an absolute blast to be able to play something like this.
Could be a Mario And Luigi type game, like Bowser's Inside Story, where the Tyrant Koopa returns, overthrowing his son, and sets his sights on the Mushroom Kingdom next. Bowser escapes and goes to the Mushroom Kingdom to ask for help defeating his tyrant father, Mario and Luigi reluctantly agree. the game is the trio working together to unseat King Koopa from his Usurper's throne, and get back to the Status Quo
Bowser Lore: Bowser's parents either died, or left him. Kamek either was Dad Bowser's butler and raised little Bowser, or created Bowser. (Kamek probably not created Bowser, but that's just a theory.) Bowser was teaches in the arts of MAGIC by Kamek. Bowser was trained into being the king of Koopas. Goombas started leaving the Mushroom Kingdom and joined Bowser's army, because they thought of having better lives there, instead of being stuck as a soft, weak peacful race. Bowser started having feelings for Peach. Mario and Luigi enters the Mushroom Kingdom for the first time, in forever, and decided to foil Bowser's plans, because of the rumors of the Toads, and the familarness of hearing Bowser's name. Time flies, and Bowser adopts the Koopalings, and raises them, like a loving father, hoping to beat Mario at his own game. After multiple losses, Bowser decides to create Bowser Jr. by using MAGIC, raising him like a father, and giving Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings the best he can. Bowser, Bowser Jr., and the Koopalings fight Mario and Pals, but eventually lose.
I always imagined Bowser’s father as looking like his son physically. But rather than looking like a bigger version of a normal koopa, he looked like one of metallic knight koopa’s we’ve seen in the paper mario games. With him being a completely brutal physical fighter with little magic ability in comparison to his son. With that trait coming from bowser’s mother side, which after he was overthrown (which caused the shattering of Lord koopa’s kingdom) the magic koopa’s were to raise bowser. Getting help from the shashala empire with recuited shy guys during yoshi’s island.
Bowser does have a brother though. His brother is dead, but he still plays mario party with him. (His brother is from TLL/Japanese Mario 2. He is also a smash skin, and dry bowser in the spinoffs.
Judging how Kamik completely changed the subject when Jr asked how he was like I’d say he was pretty abusive. Bowser is more of a cartoon bad guy but I have a feeling his dad was legit evil.
I can't help but headcanon that Bowser's dad in this comic was more like the Bowser from the animated Super Mario Bros. movie that abused his own troops (crushing Kamek's fingers with a piano cover, roasting his minions into skeletons without hesitation for asking questions, dropping prisoners into lava, etc.).
Apparently, according to some of the comics that show King Koopa instead of Bowser (I know that Bowser is technically King Koopa, but), his dad was ran out of the kingdom. That means, if we can use it for Bowser, his dad was so bad, he was ran out of the kingdom. He was the king, and he was so bad the civilians chased him out. That says something
Now this is interesting Kamek seemed to be the only one taking care of Bowser back when he was little,Bowser's Father however wasn't there at all though Where the fudge has he been all this time Bowser's a better father than even his own father
My belief was that Bowser was orphaned. His dad abandoned Bowser, so Kamek took care of him in his stead. If Bowser's dad was such a horrible person, of course Kamek wouldn't want to dwell on it.
As far we know browser doesn't have parents, he was alone as long he remembers. That's why he adopted children, so they don't have to feel the pain of being alone.

Kamek is such a good parent to jr
People here act as if it tells Bowser's dad was a bad parent. It does not. No one would call him a parent to begin with.
Bowser Lore:
Bowser's parents either died, or left him.
Kamek either was Dad Bowser's butler and raised little Bowser, or created Bowser. (Kamek probably not created Bowser, but that's just a theory.)
Bowser was teaches in the arts of MAGIC by Kamek.
Then they all go Go-Karting
His father was the first Hammer Bro you ever experience. Truly horrifying
Am I the only one who was fully expecting Kamek to open up the book at the end and look at a picture of baby Bowser with Grand Dad?
I always imagined Bowser’s father as looking like his son physically. But rather than looking like a bigger version of a normal koopa, he looked like one of metallic knight koopa’s we’ve seen in the paper mario games.
With him being a completely brutal physical fighter with little magic ability in comparison to his son. With that trait coming from bowser’s mother side, which after he was overthrown (which caused the shattering of Lord koopa’s kingdom) the magic koopa’s were to raise bowser. Getting help from the shashala empire with recuited shy guys during yoshi’s island.
I need more to this story.
Bowser does have a brother though. His brother is dead, but he still plays mario party with him. (His brother is from TLL/Japanese Mario 2. He is also a smash skin, and dry bowser in the spinoffs.
I like how Bowser Jr sounds like Lloyd. Gives me a new headcanon voice for him
Kamek is a great step-grand dad to bower jr.
This is wholesome 😊
The television shows do speak of Bowser's father. Apparently, his motto was something about how running away was always the option to take.
Wonder what Kamic is hiding.
This makes me so happy. Even villains can have their wholesome moments.
Any man can be a father but it takes a real man to be a Dad
Either he was wholesome, or abusive.
Judging how Kamik completely changed the subject when Jr asked how he was like I’d say he was pretty abusive. Bowser is more of a cartoon bad guy but I have a feeling his dad was legit evil.
Now all we need is a Koopa troopa in the group and we’ll be complete 🐢
“HES A DOLL DUDE”
hE’s NoT a DoLl, JoSePh!!!
I just got recommend this and oh my god Kamek is precious 😭
Bowers dad was such a mage tyrant that Bower himself made a law punishable by death to never say his name or speak of his acts.
Kamek is a very great grandfather.
I can't help but headcanon that Bowser's dad in this comic was more like the Bowser from the animated Super Mario Bros. movie that abused his own troops (crushing Kamek's fingers with a piano cover, roasting his minions into skeletons without hesitation for asking questions, dropping prisoners into lava, etc.).
i swear bro the mario and koopa bloodline have been at war since forever
perfect deflection, Kamek.
You know what? I’m just gonna say it, they don’t want to talk about Koopa Double Senior.
I always imaged Bowser's father to have caused countless losses and cases of insanity trying to Conquer the mushroom kingdom.
Plot twist, Kamek is the reason Bowser doesn't remember.
Bowser: I don’t usually talk about my father when the time comes I’ll tell Junior
That is a genuinely solid Bowser Jr impression
Apparently, according to some of the comics that show King Koopa instead of Bowser (I know that Bowser is technically King Koopa, but), his dad was ran out of the kingdom. That means, if we can use it for Bowser, his dad was so bad, he was ran out of the kingdom. He was the king, and he was so bad the civilians chased him out. That says something
Wait, why am I crying?
why do I get the feeling it's something tragic?
The fact that Kamek grabbed his wrist is kinda concerning, not gonna lie Bowser's dad was probably pretty bad.
We know why bowsers is such a good father and that’s because he needs had one
My assumption was it was gonna be King Koopa from the Mario Brothers Super Show
That's what I thought too. King koopa was more evil and cowardly and desired to do more harm to the princess then bowser would never do.
I Cant see these Jr And Kamek together without getting flash backs of sml also great video
Now this is interesting
Kamek seemed to be the only one taking care of Bowser back when he was little,Bowser's Father however wasn't there at all though
Where the fudge has he been all this time
Bowser's a better father than even his own father
classic grandpa move: dodge difficult questions with treats 😂
Kamek is so sweet.
Bowser is the best dad and Kamek is the best grandfather
I can’t believe Ash Ketchum voiced Bowser Jr
Bowser's dad made him evil, and Biwser hates his dad.
Bowser doesn’t know about King Koopa because koop’d to koop another koop the coward
Not the step dad, but the dad who stepped up
Or maybe Bowser's dad just went to get the milk, we'll never know.
My belief was that Bowser was orphaned. His dad abandoned Bowser, so Kamek took care of him in his stead.
If Bowser's dad was such a horrible person, of course Kamek wouldn't want to dwell on it.
I think his dad died a few years after Bowser was born
I know that there all villains but god the koopa family is the best fictional family ever
i love how voiced Kamek! cute!!
As far we know browser doesn't have parents, he was alone as long he remembers. That's why he adopted children, so they don't have to feel the pain of being alone.
I wish we knew who was Bowser's actual dad in the game good Comic
Koopa: your grandpa know about the curse of darkness
Someone needs to tell this baby boy the truth.
We don't know anything about Grand-Bowser.
Even when we went to when Bowser was a kid.
Which makes him a whole other level of evil.
Sometimes, I think about Yoshi’s Island with Bowser and Mario using time travel.
Kameks reaction makes me think grandpa koopa was so evil, kamek had to betray him for Bowser's sake
Bowser's Father wasn't scary...he was down right mortifying
I guess Bowser must not like his actual father.
