But Watching lesters video yesterday talking about Plum Grove was quite unsettling. Let me say that (he thinks) surrendering the family homestead to the wave of criminals that have infiltrated plum Grove is the answer....hes mistaken. Unless people push back on bad political policies, it's only a matter of time until his "New Santuary" at J&L will look exactly like Plum Grove. The family running away from their farm isn't going to change whats happening in Texas or other states across America ❤️. I love the history and the family unity here on this hill. I hope the family never gives up on the family land full of history and memories on Morrow hill. Listening to the family all telling stories of going camping back by the river. Pawpaw telling about working the 🌽 fields as a boy with RJ. Jake and Bri laughing about their pranks on each other while growing up here and on and on with every family member has been so sweet. Watching every single family members you tube channel since day one is full of love and history about this family farm. Thank you for sharing all your stories about the land there on the hill. I wish one of the family members would clip all the stories together into a nice video as the "Family history" of Morrow hill. Every creator has shared stories about that property and growing up there. Nice video Pawpaw. I know it seems like Flooding and storms are relentless at plum Grove. However It seems to me looking around the world that these are more common and more frequent stories everywhere with weather. More people changing the landscape and the natural lay of the land without thought of consequences to building more and more. I know much of the flooding at Morrow hill is due to the building of that subdivision without proper planning to the existing communities. I understand this as a West va gal. I saw the tops of beautiful mountains ravenged for coal without planting back the trees on those mountains and making an effort to allow it to grow back to it's beauty. Greed and the need for power is changing our beloved America. Morrow family please hold tight to your family farm! Never surrender to the new circumstances. Push back to maintain the peace that you all grew up with. Moving up the road isn't the answer.

Good Friday morning Paw Paw and fur babies. Seeing this video shows the extensive damage on Morrow Hill the most and I would say this clean up is more manageable than the May flood. I believe it was for the best that Buddy and family were away at the time cuz it would definitely traumatize the kids when the tree came down if they were home. Yes their devastated that they lost that poor pecan tree but it sacrificed itself to save the house from more damage. At least now branches on house has been removed to show more damage than they thought and tree itself has been cut up and removed. I do hope their well system is resolved for the water they need. I heard this morning on a US channel that 200k ppl are going to be without power in southern Texas til sometime next week. Hoping the best for the ppl in Texas that have gone thru this and the extensive heat wave 🙏. Have a great day 😎❤❤

Happy Friday PawPaw and all. Growing up we were lucky for power, because we were on the same grid as the hospital. So always knew we'd be among the first to get power back, and didn't have to deal with brownouts or rolling/planned blackouts (PG&E in CA). Glad damages seem to be minimal, even if messy. Happy goats with all the lovely leafy branches to eat.
Paw Paw, hope you get power back soon! Our house was always the last one around to get power...all the neighbors within sight had power but our line came straight down the hollow from Church Mountain and was always taken out! Shenandoah Electric finally put in a little underground junction box for Mama and hooked in with everyone else on our road...took decades! Take care!
So thankful you had no real damage PawPaw. God was watching over all on Morrow hill even Buddy and Steph who had a tree on their house. At least they still have a house. Bless Steve and Buddy. They were able to escape the floods but suffered damage during the hurricane. I have a lot of pine trees and huge hardwood trees surrounding my house. I’d love to be able to afford to have them cut and haul them off. I think it would be cheaper to build a new house lol I’ve walked around my yard and prayed over my trees. I pray none ever falls on my house.
It is quite the mess with all the limbs and trees down. There is a sea of green grass across the pastures and its beautiful. I pray this,is the end of the storm and your power gets turned on soon. Saw Buddy on his video. The pine I believe split the pecan. I think the pecan tree saved their house. A suggestion was made from someone maybe Cuz could make a bowl from a piece of the pecan tree❤ Thanks for the video I am saddened by all the destruction but seeing everyone pulling together is heart warming ❤❤

I was watching videos this morning w/ my coffee. Threw my phone in purse & ran to grocery store b4 it got to hot out. I was walking through the store & started hearing - you are my sunshine music. 🤔🤨 Couldn't figure out where it was coming from - then I figured out Paw Paw was playing in my purse. 🙃🤣 I thought I was loosing my last marble or the heat was really getting to me for a few. 🤪😂

Hi Pawpaw, when Jake was on Buddys roof he counted 7 holes in the roof. That pecan tree blocked huge structural damage on their home. Trees are covered by homeowners insurance (I used to be married to an adjuster) they could maybe get a replacement pecan tree planted in front.

It's Friday here and my crepe myrtles already have blooms again. Not as many, of course. My niece set out hummingbird food for the bees that normally feed off them. Almost back to normal here in West Galveston County. It's still shocking to me how strong the winds stayed so far inland.

Clean up is never fun after a hurricane. Between power outages and the heat and humidity that follows, it came become overwhelming. Remember to take breaks and stay hydrated!

Our house was always the last one around to get power...all the neighbors within sight had power but our line came straight down the hollow from Church Mountain and was always taken out! Shenandoah Electric finally put in a little underground junction box for Mama and hooked in with everyone else on our road...took decades! Take care!
So thankful you had no real damage PawPaw. God was watching over all on Morrow hill even Buddy and Steph who had a tree on their house. At least they still have a house. Bless Steve and Buddy. They were able to escape the floods but suffered damage during the hurricane. I have a lot of pine trees and huge hardwood trees surrounding my house. I’d love to be able to afford to have them cut and haul them off. I think it would be cheaper to build a new house lol I’ve walked around my yard and prayed over my trees. I pray none ever falls on my house.
It is quite the mess with all the limbs and trees down. There is a sea of green grass across the pastures and its beautiful. I pray this,is the end of the storm and your power gets turned on soon. Saw Buddy on his video. The pine I believe split the pecan. I think the pecan tree saved their house. A suggestion was made from someone maybe Cuz could make a bowl from a piece of the pecan tree❤

Hello pawpaw. Late today had doctors but all caught up now. You had so many trees and lots of limbs down. Lots to clear up. I was watching videos this morning w/ my coffee. Threw my phone in purse & ran to grocery store b4 it got to hot out. I was walking through the store & started hearing - you are my sunshine music. 🤔🤨 Couldn't figure out where it was coming from - then I figured out Paw Paw was playing in my purse. 🙃🤣 I thought I was loosing my last marble or the heat was really getting to me for a few. 🤪😂

Hi Pawpaw, when Jake was on Buddys roof he counted 7 holes in the roof. That pecan tree blocked huge structural damage on their home. Trees are covered by homeowners insurance (I used to be married to an adjuster) they could maybe get a replacement pecan tree planted in front.

It's Friday here and my crepe myrtles already have blooms again. Not as many, of course. My niece set out hummingbird food for the bees that normally feed off them. Almost back to normal here in West Galveston County. It's still shocking to me how strong the winds stayed so far inland.
