I always wanted to be a secretary. I took all the secretarial subjects that I could. I got straight A’s on them. I graduated. A teacher of mine got me a secretarial job quickly, and I hated every minute of sitting at a desk, seeing no one all day. I had been working part time as a cashier in a grocery store. Loved meeting people, and I truly enjoyed that kind of work. Did that type of work off and on for years, loved it.

Dad and I planted a garden every year. Both sides of the family, most then still in WV. Dads brother had a milk cow and raised hogs as well as chickens. A brother in law had show horses. So we were exposed to country life. My grandfather had a push mower, not gasoline powered. He mowed his 2 acres every wk with that dinosaur, and it took a wk to mow. I remember mom telling how granny washed clothes in the creek when she was a kid. Grandparents never had indoor plumbing. Granny cooked 3 hots on a wood cook stove every day. Food tasted so much better. They had the best well water. That well never went dry even in a drought. Im 66, so I can relate to the old ways and your old-time stories. Thanks so much
Good Thursday morning Paw Paw and fur babies. Woody does look good with his haircut 🥰. He has a beautiful calm personality til it's playtime and then all bets are off. Before I moved to my apartment I had law mowed with an electric push one. After it rained anything I waited at least 2 days because top was dry but closer to the ground was wet. It stuck in the blades and ticked me off having to clean them. Blessing now no cutting grass or snow shovelling. When I lived on the farm no milking machine. All by hand. Cream was cream to the point you could stick a straw in it and it held up. My sister had farm for making cheeses. Everything back 40+ yrs ago tasted so grea. Less crap additives. Good morning PawPaw and Gigi ☕️ ❤️ I'm catching up on yesterday and today. Yesterday I was busy ALL day, but got a lot of errands, cooking, and cleaning done. Today I'm in bed sore and resting. I have arthritis in my low back and hips, and carpal tunnel still in my right wrist (had left wrist surgery last June), so everything hurts today, but I'll rest and do it all over again in a few days. I'm feeling the years of hard work. Lol It's going to rain today tonight here in northern Florida (Friday). I hope no lightening so our high school football game won't be canceled. Lol, bondo and screen to repair the mover. I can see it in my mind. I used to mow 2 acres with the push mower for exercise and a suntan. Now something on grass makes me get a bad headache and I have a hard time breathing, so no more mowing for me. I know people that are tight and squeak when they walk, too. 😂 Thanks for the ride about! It's always nice and I know the doggies love it. When I was pregnant with my son, I went to my maternal grandmother's to fill in the family tree and she told me if she hadn't gotten married and had kids and had to help raise her siblings after both her parents passed young, she'd have been a horse jockey. They had a horse farm up in New York and she had a beautiful horse named Babe. That's one of my most cherished pictures of her when she was young and not married yet. I was going to be an accountant. I changed my major several times before becoming a nurse. Lol My husband didn't like in-service either. Every year he didn't look forward to it when he was a Sergeant at the prison. I absolutely love the videos! I don't get out as much as I used to, and I no longer have cows, but you all feel like family. Wr do have family in Texas ad well, and a handful of friends. It's always a good day to watch Pawpaws videos. Ben may have a good idea to come at night to paint. All the cows with Ivan trying to get in next to you for there treats. That's a new one to me, they are so tight, that they squeaked. 😄 Well, he sure got the use out of that lawnmower but trying to sell it. 🤣 Dan must have had an awful time with it. Good Thursday morning, PawPaw. Loved the stories. I lived going out and mowing with the push mower and dinking around in my flower beds. Even tho I grew up with my papa having cows I have never got to pet one I would cry and cry on butcher day.😢 even tho thats what kept us all fed it was heartbreaking to me. Woody is so handsome with his haircut and I love he lays all sprawled out lol. That soda can sure looked tiny in your hand lol. Have a good day love ya

It is so ironic and hilarious that Buster is so ferocious and Heidi was so sweet. Dobermans are portrayed to be vicious I know it’s all in how you raise them. I grew up around Dobermans and they were the best.

I'm catching up on yesterday and today.
Yesterday I was busy ALL day, but got a lot of errands, cooking, and cleaning done.
Today I'm in bed sore and resting.
I have arthritis in my low back and hips, and carpal tunnel still in my right wrist (had left wrist surgery last June), so everything hurts today, but I'll rest and do it all over again in a few days.
I'm feeling the years of hard work. Lol
It's going to rain today tonight here in northern Florida (Friday). I hope no lightening so our high school football game won't be canceled.
Lol, bondo and screen to repair the mover. I can see it in my mind.
I used to mow 2 acres with the push mower for exercise and a suntan.
Now something on grass makes me get a bad headache and I have a hard time breathing, so no more mowing for me.
I know people that are tight and squeak when they walk, too. 😂
Thanks for the ride about! It's always nice and I know the doggies love it.
When I was pregnant with my son, I went to my maternal grandmother's to fill in the family tree and she told me if she hadn't gotten married and had kids and had to help raise her siblings after both her parents passed young, she'd have been a horse jockey.
They had a horse farm up in New York and she had a beautiful horse named Babe.
That's one of my most cherished pictures of her when she was young and not married yet.
I was going to be an accountant.
I changed my major several times before becoming a nurse. Lol
My husband didn't like in-service either.
Every year he didn't look forward to it when he was a Sergeant at the prison.

Good Morning Paw Paw. Your kitchen looks great. My dad would have run the electrical wire inside metal conduit, anchor it, then paint with the walls. That way it's not noticeable and doesn't get hung up with anything. I envision a wagon trail ride mural painted on one of the walls. Miracle is like a bulldozer going after those treats 😅.
