aidan_xX I have a padi open water diver license myself, there is a LOT of stuff that goes into scuba diving, which makes it the most dangerous and extreme sport in the world, since a minor error can lead to your death.
I wouldn't go as far as saying that it is THE dangerous and extreme sport in the world (which it definitely is not) but when diving you are entering a potentially lethal environment so you need to have a proper instruction.
I've got a SSI nordic open water diver license, and i can tell you, it's not at all as dangerous as people make it up to me. If you just have the euquipment in check, and you aren't a morron doing stupid things you don't know how to, and what to do in that situation, it's completly safe. I would highly recommend it!! But it's important to get a licence, preferably from SSI.
it's so crazy how you randomly popped up on my recommended a while back then I subbed when you were at 25k now you're way bigger. Keep up the great work. Loving the vids!!!
God damnit. I watch your videos every time you upload as I sit at my computer at my job and realize i'm doing the wrong thing in life. You're doing crazier shit than most will in their lifetime. I've said it before I will say it again, i'm so envious of your life, lol.
Your athleticism that you empower for your cliff jumping and your gymnastics training will help your become proficient at skydiving. Also your focus and attention to detail as a pilot with train your mind to deal with shit that goes wrong in the air or under canopy. I hope your girlfriend gets licensed because it is a great sport that you can both do together. I love the vids and want to see you succeed and be safe so as a former instructor who has taught thousands of students, my best advice is: 1. Do your emergency procedures at least a dozen times up to altitude by running through different scenarios and also several practice pulls in the plane so you know your location of your pilot chute. 2. Make a commitment to the sport by jumping as much as you can to increase your comfort and awareness. The margin of error is incredibly small so repetitiveness and being current is key. 3. Have a pre-determined landing pattern (Downwind,, base, and final) PRIOR to boarding, look at an aerial map if possible (every decent DZ will have one), look at possible setups if the spot is long or short. 4. Buy an audible altimeter in addition to your wrist mount. 5. You will want to downsize in canopy and may need to, based on your weight. Be consistent with your flight plan. The MAJORITY of fatalities and serious injuries occur by skydivers under fully inflated canopies doing turns to close to to the ground. Blue skies.
+lawfreefly Thanks for the tips man. You know what you are talking about. I took a screenshot :) Jess wants to get into it very badly. Just need some extra money first and she'll get it.
Thank you, I was my wife's tandem instructor, she later became a competitive camera flyer and instructor herself. Like cliff jumping and BASE, it can be done anywhere, and in any Country. It would especially cool if you has a plane with a Jump door where you could fly over different DZs and let her jump out.
Adrenaline Addiction Man if you guys ever make it to Ga I'd love to hook you up with some free professional ink to add to your collection. HMU Hollyweird Tattooz in Jonesboro, Ga. Laterz broski
Hanging with your head down too long will make you pass out. But I bet he knows and his edits are just the gnarliest parts of him full speed. Beautiful art form in the air
Dude dope video. I'm starting in 2 weeks and I'm just motivated and after seeing this made me happy to see you enjoy it. I'm going to flight school as well. It's nice to see that there are like minded people out there. Rock on bro👊

Awesome video! Those gainers right there made me wanna do skydive as soon as possible! Following you since a long time now. Not gonna lie...this is THE best channel on youtube... btw to get those annoying posts done...What is that outro song? Greetings from Austria Kurt
To be able to jump solo, you need an A-License so around 25 jumps. I did a video about the AFF course, but also the different skydiving licences if you are interested to know. ;)You can watch it on my channel. Are you looking to start?
Cliff Edward Awesome for the the 27th. Let me know if you have any questions. This is a life changing sport and doing it with your wife is even better!
Hi I subbed to you less than year ago b/c I like cliff jumps. No comment on that. However, I got my skydiving B license from USPA in 1995. I was hurt very severe doing a hook turn in zhills near tampa in dec1995. I got back in sport from 1998-2004. I got involved in other things after that. Ironically, my last jump was in lake elsinore California. I'm from upstate ny and did most my jumping near there and Ontario Canada. That said I must say the sport has come a long ways with wind tunnels and other training. Get really quality training with landings(hook turns) if you choose that route. Canopies keep getting faster every year. Stay safe! If your in cali again go to skydive perris and meet Dz manager Dan BC. I've skydived with him and filmed a few jumps he did back when I met him in Eloy,AZ in about 2000-01. The guy seen it all and experienced in sport. He is truly world class diver and person. He has a book on amazon called above all else. Check it out b/c its a great page turner during some down time.
Did you base jump before learning to skydive? I have over a 100 jumps and still don't feel comfortable, experience wise to base jump. Most base schools won't teach you unless you have over 200 skydives.
What wing loading are you on right now? Looks like you've got great body awareness and comfortability in the air, well done. It certainly took me 20 jumps to get to that point lol
Wait, how were you allowed to have her attached to you for a tandem with an A licence? Or was that just a similar-looking instructor? But great video and great stuff! Congrats on your licence!
Epic video bro!!! I live in Canada so we only get the summer to jump, I mean we do jump in the winter too.... but obviously not to much.... took me the whole summer last year to get me my A license cause work/weather.... but put me on track for the B license.... pretty sure I jus gotta do the test I've done everything else..... if you end up in Ontario, let me know dude I'll jump with you any day!
Robert Harris Few places to skydive (pff course, to solo license to A,B ect) Toronto has a ifly center.... but like he said it's expensive.... it's better to just get into I think but if your nervous or whatever do the Indoor 1st.... skip the tandem jump (notice he didn't even show his tandem) jus go right into PFF training.... expensive at first but gets cheaper.... specially if you get your own gear.... I pay about 35$ per jump now with my own gear. I'm down to do fun shit, you got something to do im down dude.... I've got gopro, and Mavic Pro drone to record some sick shit....
I've only done a tandem skydive in Barrie. I just bought my first go pro the other day. But I have some plans to do videos this summer to get me doing more adventurous stuff on camera. Ive done skydiving, bungee jumping, sketchy cliff jumps, shark diving, swim with box jellyfish, climbed swiss alps. I'm flying my first plane on Friday, then doing white water rafting the next week for the first time, then going to the east coast to swim with whales and later in the summer going to dive some shipwrecks on Manitoulin island. Adrenaline Addiction is super inspiring, so i want to start doing my own thing...on obviously a much lower budget, But i would definitely be down if we could make it work.
Robert Harris Dude I'm down.... I've done 78% of what you've done.... mountain climbing isn't in my favorite category lol.... sub to my channel, hit me up on Instagram @djhex_courtney I'm from the east coast.... NS.... my daughter lives there so I'm ALWAYS down to go there.... dm me on IG or Facebook; djhex Courtney Vezina and I'll be down to do some crazy shit :) I'll come jump in Barrie anytime.... skydiving most expensive sport, but best adrenaline ever!
We still have yet to see someone go skydiving but land in water and then go scuba diving so it could be like the longest distance covered from High to low
This guy just goes from one adventure to the next
So true
E Mhugh it's kinda his job
just like i go from one utube vid to next
Next one should be a scuba diving license!
I have mine and it's siiiiccckkk
The difference is that learning to scuba dive by yourself will most likely get you killed.
aidan_xX I have a padi open water diver license myself, there is a LOT of stuff that goes into scuba diving, which makes it the most dangerous and extreme sport in the world, since a minor error can lead to your death.
