My wife is from the UK, I am from Australia, we often do Christmas at strange times of the year with our equivalent families (depending on what side of the world we’ll be on at actual Christmas, so the other side of the family gets a random month Christmas.) This has most often fallen in October- it’s now known as Octobermas, with its own traditions (usually we gift everyone advent calendars for the upcoming season) our biggest one happened just before our wedding when all of my family was in the UK so we had a big both sides of the family combined surprise Octobermas and it’s one of my favourite memories. Bring yourself and others joy whenever you can I say! Here’s to Octobermas 2021!
My kids and I are taking it in turns to do a meal plan each week since they returned to school, this has inspired me, I'm definitely doing Christmas Dinner for my Sunday 😂
