Paddington 2 is just magical .Not a single second is wasted. It's just a wondaful piece of filmmaking. It knows exactly what it's there for and executes it perfectly. It's difficult to find a flaw in it.
Paddington made my childhood. I had all the books. It's nice to see after all these years that his live action film, and even the sequel, are so good, unlike so many bad live action adaptations we get these days
One of the most charming elements to this film is where Paddington enters the pop up book. This is a very clever call back to the 1970's stop motion animated Paddington series. In fact there are some lovely references to that show sprinkled through out the films.
Because this was a sequel i was prepared for the possibility of a slight let down but instead of that i was more than impressed. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from start to finish as well as your reaction to it, thanks to both of you.
Everything about this film is basically perfect, from the delightfully Wes Anderson-esque direction, to Dario Marianelli's whimsical and emotional score, to the impressively stacked cast (good work on recognising Joanna Lumley, Noah Taylor and Tom Conti by the way). It's just a wonderfully made film, one of my absolute favourites and a prime example of a sequel that improves on its predecessor in every way. It's funnier, way more heartwarming, it has Paddington reforming the prison industry, the villain is way more entertaining, and it has the most endearing and wholesome ending imaginable. Definitely curious to see how the third film turns out, it's working at a bit of a disadvantage with both Sally Hawkins not returning and Paul King no longer directing, but we do have Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas joining the cast, so fingers crossed we get a great trilogy out of this
Hugh grant and joanna lumley both played the doctor in the stephen moffat written story "the curse of fatal death" written for children in need and available on youtube!! Its very good!
The only reason this movie doesn’t have a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes is because there is only one movie critic who gave it a negative review. And he is infamous for only giving positive reviews to critically bad movies and only negative reviews to movies with mostly positive reviews. In other words he’s a professional troll and his reviews should never be counted.
I'm not surprised about how critics act nowadays, they are very foolish and bring up this stoopid line saying "it's so bad that it's so good".(I might be wrong)
Wonka didn't reach the same height as the Paddington movies, but it was really good. I think the main difference is Paddington himself. You cant help but love the clueless and clumsy little polite bear.
The policewoman who arrested the bear, and at the desk at the police station was Not very helpful atoll. I don't think she believed the browns story. Where's she going?

The best description is "it's very British" You couldn't make that film in any other country. Just phenomenal.
This movie is literally perfect! Anyone who doesn’t get even the slightest bit emotional at the end is either a sociopath or a troll.
Bullseye 🎯
True
agree
It's one of the only films that ever makes me tear up. It's a genuine masterpiece.

Agreed. They went hard for this adaptation and it pays off as a classic. Not once but twice. Hard to do, and they did it beautifully.

The security guard is played by Simon Farnby. He wrote or co wrote both Paddington movies.. Plus Wonka.. Check out Ghosts and Horrible Histories.
He also appeared in wonka didnt he?
He wrote and starred in the Paddington sketch with Queen Elizabeth too!

The animated sequence with the boat was a nod and a wink towards the original cartoon in the UK.

Not crying at the end of this movie should be the new test to see if you are a replicant or not.

The Paddington films are sooo good!!
Never seen this but evidently it's considered the best film ever by daddies.
Jessica Stevenson was in a great show with Simon Pegg called 'Spaced'
She’s fantastic
Simon Farnaby is so funny in these movies

Was it Armond White by any chance (I wouldn't be surprised if it was)?
@@christianwise637 I don’t even bother to look it up. Trolls should be forgotten.
They sound so dumb
Exemples of Bad movies?

Ironically think about it Wonka’s mom is Mary from Paddington
Wonderfully, heartwarming movie. Better than the first, quintessentially British. 10/10.
So glad you guys enjoyed it. 🥰
I describe these movies as a warm blanket and mug of cocoa.
Paddington 2 is very Wes Anderson’ish (The Grand Budapest Hotel prison escape scene).
I love the facts he’s given a 50p and now Paddington is on 50p 😊
The humor and film style of this movie reminds me a lot of Wes Anderson’s movie Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Also as a baby I had a Paddington doll. ❤️🐻🍊
The man who was the guard at the museum was in a show called horrible histories
I definitely think Knuckles did Lie to Paddington!
Always tell the Truth.
I took an old “friend” of mine and hid orange lifesavers in his hat and held him during the entire time at the movies when I saw this.
Mr Buchanan Lied to the people in the courtroom.
Hugh Grant as Bad Guy wasn't something I didn't know I needed till I saw this film.
Fantastic film
Forget the medic. Better send a priest. 😆
If you can't do orange marmalade try rose's lime marmalade it might be more to the American palate
Awesome reaction of my favorite movie!!!!!😊😊😊😊
i love Paddington Bear 🥰
BBC one showed this film after the Queens funeral, very good choice.
I love that movie ❤❤❤❤I love paddington I whis I hath a plush of him
The policewoman who arrested the bear, and at the desk at the police station was Not very helpful atoll.
I don't think she believed the browns story.
Where's she going?
31:12 It’s 1471 over here ;)
Are you guys going to do a new reaction video to the new Indiana Jones and the great circle video game trailer.
