Hi, it would be great if you had a video showing how to start this plant from seed? Soil consistency, time to germination, seed spacing and so on. Also... showing it in place somewhere, rather than holding a container? So people could see the best setting(s) for this ground cover? Thanks for posting this... very little video available about Sagina subulata :{ You did a great job introducing it!

Actually this species is native to nearly all of Europe - down to Spain and east to Italy. The Scotch and Irish suffixes are merely romantic.

I planted this in a tree circle around an old maple tree in Virginia. It also has portulaca, lemon coral sedum, asparagus fern, coral reef sedum, and red dragon sedum planted around it. Today I had to move the Scottish moss to the north side of the tree. There was another patch of it there anyway. I noticed that side does great. The hole I left, I planted another lemon coral sedum. 🍀🌿🌾🐀🐾

I forgot to water for a few days and it dried out pretty good. It is way softer/malleable and looks droopy. It was soo lively, stiff but soft and squishy and green. I just watered it and have it under a full spectrum light

I’d tread carefully in this regard.. i poured some well diluted organic seaweed fertiliser straight on top of a load of moss , and it looks like it burnt it or something , it actually went black , which is kinda cool , but still... I don’t know how damaged it is yet ... and I’ve just noticed this comment is 3 years old lol ... anyways - is go with worm castings 😆

I use Dr Earth organic fertilizer. I'm not sure if it's available in your country. ¡Buenas suerte!

I want it to grow but I don't know how to exactly do this. Could you tell me what I should do with this Irish Moss I have please & thank you

THIS CHANNEL NEVER EVER ANSWERS QUESTIONS... sorry, I was upset just then. Part of the fun of RUclips is channels that answer questions and respond to viewers. Way to insult viewers by ignoring them he-hem, us.

Show the plant not the person in the video. Get better lighting and closeups. I came here to see the plant but see a talking head instead. First rule of any demo video, is DO THE DEMO. The person talking should be heard not seen. Show the plant!
