City of San Diego (ESD) Full - Automated Greens Collection

Welcome to San Carlos, a neighborhood in the City of San Diego just north of La Mesa, South of Santee and West of El Cajon. Here lies one of the many areas that ESD has began offering Automated Greens collections to it's residents.
From what I observed the program seems to be very progressive. Interesting enough I noticed that more residents participated in the greens program when they have automated carts than when don't. At least every other person had a green cart out, whereas with manual bins it seems like 1 out of every 10 residents has their greens out to be collected.
I personally really like the idea of automated greens for the City of San Diego, now they just have to get everyone else going with the program. But that'll probably take another 5 years, like it did to get the whole city fully automated with trash and recycling back two decades ago.
