That’s sad. Lots of memories watching your videos here over the years
Good ol' times.
Great video!! I tell you what it'll be weird not having WM in El Cajon anymore. Hope EDCO does the city well. It'll be interesting to see if EDCO will decide to buy different chassis and body makes. I wonder how the drivers felt about picking up EDCO carts lol. Nice work!
I hope they pick up the trucks that service El Cajon, it would be a bonus to their fleet. Not to mention some cool EDCO branded trucks.
Semi-upset WM lost this contract, lots of great videos and memories from this contract over the years on youtube. Although I’m always open to something new, hopefully Edco does well with the contract, and hope they keep the same trucks.
It is sad to see wm go in el cajon. What will happen to these amreps once edco takes over
I’m not sure. Maybe they will repaint
It was nice seeing a mixed carts wm cascades and edco toters
This is very sad. Too bad Edco lives on.
What do you mean by “too bad”? It’s great that a Nation wide company lost to a local SoCal business.
Agreed
Why Edco?? WM El Cajon was the best! So many cool trucks now gone!! Why Edco!!?
Read the description
Yeah I know. WM had so many cool trucks in El Cajon.
I remember those Macks
It is kind of sad WM lost this contract, but I think edco will preform better and imo, they’re a great company
I MISS WM SO MUCH NOW I haven wr.
What do I mean by haven’t wr
I am in my tablet and my tablet accidently did havvent.
nice video and are they taking over San Diego or is this somewhere else
@@staintedcards What on earth are you talking about? Do you know how economically impossible that would be by “next year?” More than half of the residential/commercial fleet can rev automatically. I don’t think lid flips is the top of their concern with all those absurd assumptions you’re making either.
@@staintedcards Cause the governor and mayor have time to worry about lid flipping and revving, makes sense.
in my opinion, lid flips just let the residents know there trash was taken out. Most Residents trash cajs arent full and they dont know if it was taken out. Burrtec has a choice of lid flipping. My recycle drivers doesnt lid flip but my green waste driver and trash driver do.
Man,I really dislike EDCO, but I like waste management
What makes you dislike EDCO?
Because these's is no recycle often recycle right, so that why I don't like EDCO
so if a waste company gets a new trucks, do they buy it with the citys money? or there money. (curious question)
Wow, first solana beach and now El Cajon......
Absolutely. Love. It. 🙏🏻
I think they should of kept the wm cans as well with the edco cans
If only those trucks squeeze those edco cans to death heh
Trashman97, what app do you use, or camera
Are the carts now EDCOs or are they taking them back to WM?
Wm takes em back probs.
The guys who were collecting the carts had EDCO uniforms on, makes me believe that they are now EDCO's carts. Which would work best for them because they use the same color coordination for their collections.
Pretty mad WM lost that contract to edco, they have lost so many down where I live, it seems as if they are a big commercial provider now and less of a residental.
Nice job man
20 years I thought it was 15 until contracts end
Do you mean it will be gone forever😔
In the city of El Cajon, yes for the next 20 years. As far as their other accounts I'm not too sure. WM has been slowly dwindling in SD over the past 5 years.
@@TheTrashman97 are they done working in point loma too cause thats where l live
I like you
Here comes thr sxttyy cans
Trash Trucks..👍
