Very much disappointed with the approach of RE R&D team..how many review has already in the market regarding ground clearance of Super MATEOR 650 but still they didn't improve in this segment,only 154 mm for Classic 650 so they didn't work out in this case depending on the rough terrain of India especially..and another thing the height..this remains same 800mm like Classic 350.. Why this..this should be minimum 900mm depending on its new mascular look..what about taller people like me 6 feet n above.. As already there is a option available in 350 variety for short people.. The main draw back to me here is again ground clearance. 174mm GC in Classic 350 174mm in Classic 350

It looks horrific. It’s not a classic - they sold out. It’s a shotgun made for fat people who use o ride Harley’s and mode bikes uncool. The 350 is proportional and tasteful. This a damn monstrosity
I grew up with a dad who bought and rode a Classic 350 in a full similar metallic red. I've experienced being on the back of every type of bullet and 350 they've put out and honestly this is the one bike I've looked forward to getting since they started putting out 650s. I cannot wait to get my hands on one. Great video man, love it.
I think RE with the Super Meteor, the Shotgun and the Classic 650 are filling the void left by Harley getting rid of the Sportster. The cruiser and roadster market needs bikes like these, the best thing is that they are so affordable from new and dare I say it, way better value than any Sportster ever was.
I have a Classic 350 Signals and absolutely love it, but if I didn't have the 350 I would definitely go for this 650. The color you had is the best one available in my opinion!
I just wish the 650 looked more like the classic 350, it's one of the best looking bikes I've ever seen with great sound, but lacking power considerably
i hope RE brings back the OG color schemes like the army green and the dessert storm. I was close to earning for the classic 500 desert storm back then suddenly it scrapped which broke my heart. That cream with maroon-ish definitely steals my heart and this time I'm bringing a classic home.
I have been anticipating this bike for years. I own a classic 500 in the US. I like that cream version. Very classy look. The only draw back for me is the lacking of functional sprung seat to aid my back discomfort. The sprung seat on the classic 500 is just a dream. Next is the weight. Are all the tins metal? Hope so. Wish they would have uses the interceptor frame. I like the double cradle. Other then that looks great. Pricing may keep me looking at the int 650 as up front purchase and modification would be easier on the wallet. Still other then the seat and losing weight from the silencers would be my only change on the classic 650. Hmm dropping the silencers and evap system may bring weight close to int 650. Something to consider. The tube tire setup looks great but concerning for roadside fix. I hear one of the hymalains has tubeless spoke rims. That would be a very nice touch on this bike.
@@silverback3926 I have had a wheel collapse but luckily it was a Ural 750 side car outfit so I just popped the spare wheel on. But the side car rigs do get alot of sideways force put on the rim as they don't have a differential for corners

And this is during a bike review not a let me tell you about myself video. I love the comparison he made with the baggers on our US highways. Definitely relatable. First time watching this channel in a long time.
This should do well in the US where Harley dominates. The problem with Harley right now is that they have nothing retro or low powered to replace the now discontinued Sportster 883. Indian and Royal Enfield will take over that sector with their current lineup

Certainly a head turner. The Shotgun had the same tendency to activate the ABS very quickly. Overall a very attractive bike. Enjoyed your video. I subscribed. Some say that it is a bit punchier in comaprison with the Shotgun and Supermeteor.

Since you’re a well built guy, let me ask you if there’s any tail bone issues with this seating posture? I personally didn’t feel any tail bone pressure in the shotgun though.
I'll be glad when RE offers multiple foot control and placement options across the 650 line. I bought my 350 Meteor for the leg ergonomics, and none of the 650 variants are as comfortable. Please provide options. Maybe floorboards with heel/toe shift.These new 650s are quite nice!
This is nothing but Super Meteor 650 with the headlight cover & instrument cluster of Classic & Bullet. This same bike will be rebadged as Classic 650 or Bullet 650 and sold with different paint schemes 😂

Royal Enfield is saying $12,000 plus in Australia so what I'm going to do is rebuild my 2020 classic 500 with the Hitchcocks 535cc update and give it a coat of the green teal 650 paint.
Do you think the 650 engine could fit into the 350 reborn frame? I want a 650 but don't wanna trade in my 350 (i have too many memories and scratches/dings from hitting atv and dirt bike trails) to want to trade it in
@pauls8456 well i can wait a few months after the bike comes out and call junkyards and stuff to see if anyone's bike got totalled or try Enfield themselves or an re authorized dealer i bet with enough time, patience, and money getting a whole engine or parts to build an engine would be possible

Thanks for the video. I heard the back suspension is worse than the 350 classic with only 90mm of play. And that it's great on bends and flawless roads, but when it comes to cobblestones or speedbumps, etc, it's quite dissatisfying. I was thinking of getting one, but hearing this, I've postponed it till I find out more truth about this from users later on in the year 2025.
Love the looks and everything about it, however will not ride with spoked wheels. I assume the 2025 super meteor will continue with cast wheels. I am considering buying one come spring, this or an Indian Scout. Most of my riding is within a 30 mile radius in SW, OH and as I approach 70, I like the idea of a comfortable cruiser to ride our state highways and back roads, this and the lighter weight to handle. I will still keep my Victory Cross Country that chews up miles superbly and is quite nimble and well centered, not top heavy, and fabulous suspension for longer rides. Royal Enfield is really knocking it out of the park. There is plenty enough tech and older school style and with this price tag, well my goodness. I hope some day they will add cruise control or at least as an option.

If this beast gets a puncture , A) nobody can pull it along with a tubed flat tyre. B) no street side mechanic is tech savy enough to open that tyre out from those double disced claws. C) even if they open it. If they remove the tyre with their roadside gear , without proper rim machinery. There is so much probability that they shall bend that aluminium rim.
What nonsense if you can't change a tube on the road then you have no business riding a bike.If tubeless tire comes off the rim then plug it all you want but it will not inflate .Then you must install a new tube in the tire pump it up with your hand or little electric pump and ride home.
Wut? I've been riding spoked bikes with aluminum rims for a long time. It is stupid easy to patch a tube on the side of the road. If you want this bike without the spokes just get a Shotgun 650. I love mine.
@ RE has launched a pair of spoked wheels for himalayan , which also support tube less tyres. Although they come as an accessory for 14k. Why don’t such wheels come for this bike as well or it comes factory fitted with them in future.

Ive owned over 80 bikes in 15 years. Ive never had a flat tyre, tubed or tubeless.

Best thing about this bike is its engine. Till date no problem on this 650 engine
I wished they changed the gauges to something similar to the interceptor with two dials, like on the Bonneville and W800.

@@T-blake You have never seen 650 on your own eyes, do you? It is way bigger than 350. There is no way to switch engine.

Wish they gave it double disc brakes up front. With the weight you have to do a lot of early braking for this.
