I didn't care for the album. I didn't like Sykes in the band. He was too metal for Lizzy. My favourite albums are Jailbreak, Chinatown, Bad Reputation, Johnny the Fox and Renegade (in no particular order).
Phil loved Sykes and John loved Phil, they were a great partnership if only for that one studio album, re-lit that Lizzy fire, fantastic work. This is not a bootleg, it's a simulcast by the BBC, "Sight & Sound" at Hitchin.
Phil Lynot was in the same position as Ozzy Osbourne - brilliant frontman and could choose his guitarists by the length of their hair - brilliance and highest talents were merely side effects and guaranteed.
