      Right . To dust every figures , boxes , shelves , and cleaning the glasses must be laborious . This person must of cleaned the collection just for the video because I can't see the collection being cleaned every week , especially if this person haves other obligations in their life . Even if they have the money to pay for a cleaning service I wouldn't trust the collection in their care without overseeing the cleaning .

    All of those toys used to sit on the shelves of Toys-R-Us and KB toy stores but long gone are the excitement of entering a large retail store filled with aisles of nothing but toys , games , model kits , electric trains and racing car , RC toys , skateboards and bicycles . Walmart and Target toy sections can never compared to the wonder of an entire store dedicated to toys . Buying toys online may be convenient but it is nothing like a child , and even for adults , seeing toys , touching toys , smelling toys , and feeling the energy of excitement of other children in a store filled with nothing but toys , even more so during the holidays . Seeing shopping carts full of toys while children bounced around with excitement is an experience that this generation will sadly not have .

    I had a whole attic full of teenage mutant mutant ninja turtles from when I collected then as a kid but my mum recently sold them without telling me, was not happy.

      I feel your pain. I had all my (near) mint NES/SNES/N64 boxes stacked neatly in 3 or 4 big storage boxes in my parents attic (i had cartridge containers for the actual games, which i had taken with me). When i came back a few years after i moved out to get them, i found only one storage box. My mom needed some space, so she had squashed all the boxes together in one pile.

      @@hekcis at least you still have the cartridges👌🏼 just ashame you didnt take the boxes with you. parents should have more consideration for their kids stuff lol.

    i have one of the godzilla figures 0:57 are they something worth ?

    • @EdsRetroGeekOut
      @EdsRetroGeekOut  5 лет назад +1

      The volcano game is worth a fair bit but godzilla figures I don't have a clue to be honest it will depend on the maker and the year of production :-)

    Awesome collection. I'm sad that I didn't see a 45 year old man come down to let you know that his mom cooked meatloaf and wanted to know if you can stay for dinner.

    What you do for living what is your job. How you protected your toy boxs to look likeso good, paint on boxs look like new. On my boxes paint is look faded, probaly bcs of sun rays.

      He uses plastic protective sleeves and there is no natural light in the rooms, that’s what fades the colors overtime. Thanks for watching 🤓👌

    I like collecting in box too because when you open the package it’s awesome for the day but then it loses the magic you know?

    • @EdsRetroGeekOut
      @EdsRetroGeekOut  4 года назад +1

      I like boxed but not sealed cuz you can open it and enjoy the toy + box art. But figures on card are just terrible cuz you cant reopen them so usually try to get those loose and one on card 🤓
