No it's kinda same price. A gtx 980ti is about 650-900 Dollars. The cpu they used is worth 1k. It's the kinda same price. The gpu they used was about 550. So on. This build is is not even close to a gtx 980 ti price.

No it's kinda same price. A gtx 980ti is about 650-900 Dollars. The cpu they used is worth 1k. It's the kinda same price. The gpu they used was about 550. So on. This build is is not even close to a gtx 980 ti price.

this is still the cutest one of the three so far, cz he was the only one who was REALLY into choosing a real color schema, and he clearly enjoyed the actual building the most out of the three children. His 2 daughters dindt realy care about the pc itself i thinks, they just liked being with their father. Which is also very cute tho.

***** Different opinions from a different time. I ran dual ATI cards in crossfire once upon a time before their Acquisition. I'm not anti-AMD and they do make quality hardware, but there's no denying that NVidia's product line across the board have superior performance (not always point per point, and cost excluded). In certain spec categories, AMD products can achieve superior framerates at a lower cost than a competing NVidia card, but the efficiency of NVidia hardware in terms of power consumption, architectural efficiency, and cooling are products of their superior R&D process. Though, much of their R&D costs are offloaded to the consumer, which is why NVidia hardware typically costs so much higher.
That being said, I'm not saying AMD make poor quality products, but their business model and the state of the market has them kind of up against the wall - they can't put the same resources into R&D that NVida can, which is why those secondary specs suffer
***** I agree - I'm admittedly not as well-read up on AMDs newest hardware, but that new Nano and Fury X are really cool innovative products that I was not expecting from them. It's an interesting time, a lot of new technologies are kind of converging and it's kind of a grab-bag as for who is supporting what. Mantle, Free-sync, G-sync, 4k, DX12, high-refresh rate monitors, and consumer all-in-one liquid cooling are all growing in popularity these days. Micro-ATX and mini-ITX form factors are becoming increasingly popular as well. I too am excited to see where the technology in the coming days shifts the market. While I am an Nvidia enthusiast and haven't used any AMD hardware in a few years, AMD's place in the market is completely necessary for NVidia - And NVidia's new restructuring changes and their jump into the automotive industry might allow AMD some more wiggle-room to jump back in the game. This last series of cards weren't the out-of-the-park home-runs that I think they hoped they'd be, but they were still darn good cards. AMD's not out of the game yet; they've still got certain parts of the CPU/GPU markets cornered.

+Kris L A monopoly by NVidia would be illegal. Some other company would have to buy AMD. Also, their *imminent* bankruptcy isn't nearly as imminent as what people think; if their market shares plummet at the same rate, they'll be bankrupt in 2017. Not entirely sure if this is credible information though, but I know for a fact that Nvidia legally can't have a monopoly on GPUs.
