Beautifully played, sung, and felt!!! I remember several months back when that video came up in my feed, with Marc sitting there in the stairway asking for feedback , and played I think the first verse or so to what became More to This. I was --blown away-- at the perfect communion it had with my spirit, as something that had all the right tones and timbers, at all the right times; and had the sound, lyrics & soul of any other real timeless hit. You did that justice here :) Music , real music, played and not 100% programmed is what the world needs so much right now, and not the packaged & commercial stuff with the demoralizing or exploitative agendas; but sounds and songs for dancing, connecting, healing, and lifting up the vibrations and consciousness of those it touches. A hurricane in Florida flooded by home studio and ruined all my good stuff, including guitars, drums, mics and amps back in 2017 and since then all I've kept is a keyboard and a guitar, that I pick up less and less nowadays... but I do get inspired when a video like yours or Marc's or something else like this comes through on my algorithm:) I bet you'd have a fun time playing another Marc Scibilia cover he did for a Volvo commercial-- an acoustic version of Lean On (Major Lazer/DL Snake). 1 More subscribe here. Thank you so much for the very thoughtful compliment! I was so touched by Marc's song when I heard it that it found itself playing on repeat through my speaker system for weeks. He is a brilliant songwriter. Wish I had that kind of talent. My talent lies more in long-form storytelling. Would that I could put it to music like that. Sorry to hear about the loss of your equipment, but I'm glad you salvaged a bit. Music is merely a hobby of mine, but recently has become more focused, since it makes me happy to play and sing and truly, we could all use a bit more happiness, so I make my own.
