- The sermon was delivered on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Bishop Carlton D. Pearson, Affiliate Minister.
SERMON DESCRIPTION:
The majority of conservative evangelical thinkers still believe in an orthodox hell as do most of the billion Roman Catholics in the world. This includes eternal damnation and torture in a lake of fire and brimstone. It all sounds frighteningly obscure, absurd and obscene. And for the most part, they all wish it were not true, or at least that they don't and won't go there.
Some are afraid to deny the existence of hell, because that would make Jesus, whom most see as little less than a divine "fire escape" and whom they worship, unnecessary and that is anathema above all anathemas. So?.... Christian orthodoxy needs hell to be orthodox, so that means we need to reconsider orthodoxy and ortho/dogma anew. We're doing so all of the month of June here at All Souls. Lets reconsider what we believe and why we believe it and do those beliefs add to or subtract from the quality of life and consciousness!

You ARE MY HERO!!! THERE AREN'T WORDS ENOUGH!!! I grew up Cogic. I knew it was a lot of things that my spirit did not agree a lot of things that were taught it didn't make sense to me. I saw a lot of hypocrisy. I could on. Since, then the Creator, The Multiverse and Ancestors have led me and put people in my path to a high vibrating life. I just learned of the Struggle Bishop Pearson went through. I believe that he fulfilled his true Purpose. REST IN LOVE AND Power! He TRULY REPRESENTED LOVE IN THE PURESR FORM!!!❤❤❤❤❤
