This is the only movie ever made where the 1991 VHS video restoration is better than the digital DVD version.........in the DVD they struggled with the fianl battle scene.......it looks much better in the video.
Spartacus was the first movie, where Stanley Kubrick showed the world what he was capable of. That he was a brilliant film maker probably the best in history after this movie he never looked back.
