1:10:40 rewatching this game cause very enjoyable. just noticed iirc this is where the maiden gets set on fire and the hero just spectates. the old man in the maiden's pov says "you should be held prisoner and considered dangerous until the hero returns" in the pov of the hero however, i remember distinctly it was something like "we'll keep an eye on the maiden". which is more vague and definitely a shock to those not expecting what happened since it seems less hostile
I love the dude giggling and squealing every time the Maiden and Overlord or Comedy and Tragedy interacted 😂 Biggest shipper of all, lmao- I'd also like to point out the colours throughout the game. Everything had a distinct colour until you got further and further into the story. Collecting letter after letter, trying to put together Tragedy's story. But then the colours start to mix as you go further and further. Revealing that not everything was as black and white as it seemed. That not everything is that simple. That everyone is full of palettes of different colours. That no one can truly fit into a single colour. Also the Maiden getting burned at the stake ending really hits a lot harder after we saw the TRUE true ending. How it represented the fear and blind hate the town has about something they didn't even bother to try and understand. Not to mention the bullying and peer pressure represented by the Underling. Or the Hero and Maiden being forced into rules that never truly fit them. Just because it's all they have been thought. I guess that could go for all the characters as well. Not just the Hero and Maiden. If you really think about it, they sort of all switched their roles, the Maiden became the hero and unexpected protagonist of the story. Overlord the unexpected love interest. Underling a performer and someone that stood out and spoke up, like a ruler was supposed to. And finally, the Hero was just a humble tailor, mostly off on his own and making his little outfits off to the side, like the Underling was supposed to be. Truly a full circle moment. So much thought was put into this and so many other metaphors throughout the game and I couldn't help but admire the creator for it. I don't think I even pointed out each metaphor in here.. Anyway, I got sidetracked, What I wanted to say was that this was awesome and you guys are genuinely hilarious- And, I'm guessing by your reactions to the end, that this game shook you just as much as it did most of us. Love y'all! (Also, love your voice, you did perfectly with capturing what that specific character was feeling in that moment, you could hear it in your voice. Don't know if you already do some theatre shiz but you definitely should try it out if you find it interesting bc you would do well!)

something that a lot of people overlook about the underling is that the game refers to them with exclusively they/them pronouns, ie they're completely gender neutral! as someone who's non-binary I think it's neat, and I think it's kind of a shame a lot of players don't notice that little touch.
Oml i love this game. i already played some games of the creator "nomnomnami" and even tho they are more small and simple thann this one, i still recommend them all. This person has a great hability to make beautifull stories whit GAY PEOPLE. (For a suggestion, my favorite is "her tears were my light" and "Starry Flowers". Loved seeing yall play this i love watching your long gameplays since they are so fun!
Im currently at a cross roads where i really now wanna try this game out, but you 3 playing it adds a level of comedy that works amazing with it. bad end theater is the most criminally underrated game of all time, this couldve easily gained a cult following, just like undertale, deltarune, BatIM, Helltaker etc. Markiplier even played it, you'd think that wouldve kicked it off, but it just never gained enough momentum
I first saw this game when Markiplier played it! I was surprised only a few people had played it when I searched for more. It's an awesome game, the story is extremely poetic and well written, with the stories intertwining. The art and music are great too. I don't have a device to play it on, but I've thought of buying Bad End Theater anyway, just to support the creator. Steel, Mustrd, and Tobi, I can't tell which of you is which lmao, but I tried to follow the voices. All I know is that Tobi is the embodiment of the chaos demon, and has a higher voice, so that made it easier. Already knowing the story, I liked hearing your shocked gasps and exclamations when you ran into a twist you weren't expecting. Also the off beat singing to the music lol. "Everything you've done has only hurt them more." "Yeah... so let's keep going!" I lost count of the number of ways you basically said "GAYS" in this. 1:43:38 "Video game ASMR that is filled with Chaos, random yelling, off key singing, and exclamations/swears. Not relaxing at all, 10/10" -K "Welcome back, she rotted to death." (casually) Steel: "This video, is going to have so much editing, so they don't see me clicking through the *entire scenario* again" ...So that was a lie. Ahhhhh this story still makes me cry at the end!! The whole message is done so well, about being able to break free from the "roles" you're expected to play, and live your life how you feel best fits you. Create your own destiny! It was fun watching you guys play this, I'm glad you three found this awesome game
